Call me crazy but I’m pulling for Lykos with the upset. I feel like this is just bad enough of a matchup that he’d get a buff.
Edit: man….you know this match reminds me of a saying I heard all the time growing up, “knowledge is power, and knowing is half the battle.” It seems like this Orochi player has not only played Orochi for years but I’d wager he has also played the majority of the cast and can do so with proficiency. The man is an absolute force on the sticks. Lykos, man this one was rough but honestly I feel like no matter how much I look at the rounds you really were trying to make the best of a bad situation. Not only is that Orochi mix potent, the person applying it is extremely good at doing so.

@@ovotrippie1333 certain characters have better kits than others. Others haven't been touched since their release/nerf. Characters like Highlander, Valkyrie, and Nuxia are a few examples. However, the counter is the skill of the player. I know Orochi is hard to fight. Hell Nuxia would have destroyed me if I didn't bait the side dodge light parries.
Another problem is everyone studies these videos to see how the others fight. It's doing homework. Yet no matter how much you do or try to exploit the weakness of other characters the stats play against you.
Frame advantage on bashes, kicks, delays, hyper armor, and faints can be used to catch people in loops with little to no chance of recovery. Certain characters can get out of it and others cannot.
Bottom line, certain heros are better than others. Period.
@@luciousthewolf2900 valkyrie has been reworked so idk if that's a good example. Highlands has had changes also I think. None of the original cast have remained the same but orochi just has to much offensive power atm he has all the tools and some.

Didn't he already made a debunk video explaining about that? That he doesn't use smurf because if you look on the For Honor Tracker on his opponents, they aren't even considered low level to begin with and it's just players pretending to be him using his name to get views.

Kensei can still compete a little bit. But yeah LB and Jorm need to be next on the rework list. Not just adjustments, I think they need completely new move sets.
Kensei is more than fone as it is, immense damage, super fast HA soft feints, delayable dodge attack with good damage and immediate HA afterwards and so on

To be fair, this guy who plays orochi is also very good and makes use of his whole move set which you really can’t fault him for. If he just spammed storm rush and bashes than I’d say it’s undeserved but the dude has also beat the best raider and I’d argue that matchup could go either way in terms of how good the characters are.
But, in terms of this matchup the lb is completely screwed. Lb struggles against fast characters and orochi is literally the fastest lol

Everyone's a critic. I know everyone generally doesn't like me nor my gameplay. Fact is it's easy to talk from a distance. These guys are on a whole different level. Regardless of the characters they pick. I'm the one who chose one of the worst characters in the game. Every match is a up hill battle.
I hope they go through and buff/rework Law and some of the other struggling heroes soon. You played great given the match-up man. I main valk and I struggle against Orochi pretty bad so I can only imagine the amount of patience it takes for you to go against the number 1 orochi with such a lacking hero.

Nah man you did good, aint your fault at all. Sure when he heavy dashed forwards you shouldnt use the dodge bash but instead throw a light or if he predicts a light throw a heavy; dont fall for the same tactics etc etc
Well by only giving suggestions i realized how hard it is to play LB, in order to win you LITERALLY have to predict everything, and by that i mean everything. Direction of the light, if the bash is feinted and a guardbreak will occur, if the attacks itself, especially the top heavy, will be feinted etc etc. LB is really hard, difficult and painfull to play so my respect that you main him. We gotta keep grinding, maybe one day we shall be unstoppable. I myself as an example won a match with rep 200-600 while only being rep 40myself. The not so fun part was that i as LB had to study the movesets of the enemys to be effective but if you win its rewarding

Watching this Orochi makes me realise how scary he can be in the right hands, I can handle most Orochi’s due to the fact they fall for baits and stuff but this guys defence is on point, especially for an offensive character like Orochi is

This orochi didn't even play the "brain dead" way, they were actually good using orochi's whole kit. All heroes in this game take skill to be played at a high level, even the "brain dead" heroes, anyone who says otherwise are just desperate for a reason to cope to.

Never, but d1cksuckers will instead add a complete unneccesary hero and make him op for no fckin reason and give random heroes buffs making them so fckin easy to play its not even worth playing the game entirely anymore. LB has to quite literally predict the world while some heroes can just take d1ck in the ass, drink cum and press random buttons like in mortal kombat and wow would you look at that ez win. Sure LB in the right hands is good and i gotta admit the LB in the Clip wasnt really the best but compared to others he really is hard to play since he lacks in offensive moves and can only effektively use his kit after a parry (or im just bad with LB idk)

Orochi, without a doubt one of the most obnoxious lil shits of all the character in this game.
I hate this because in reality a muscular European knight with superior weapons and armour would not lose, it would be a slaughter.
I also find it funny that he has a FULL FCKIN PLATE ARMOUR but instead of giving him hyperarmoury, they give it to some naked viking (raider)

All character need domes skill to be used correctly. I don’t think an average player can play like this orochi.
The guy is actually playing good mind games as orochi Ngl he’s good but also predictable in a way with his zones and lights
@@paidjay2x138 It may look that way on the surface but if you study more closely you’ll notice he uses his lights not as openers but as interrupts. Many times when there’s a gap in the opponent’s chain or when they’re throwing a neutral heavy or GB, he throws lights to interrupt them. Coupled with his high reaction speeds and he can use this tactic to almost always guarantee damage.

I’m enjoying the Orochi’s rise, but we have to keep in mind that his successes raises a couple issues with For Honor. For one, he’s the only contestant (I’m fairly certain) who’s on next gen whilst everyone else is still on old gen, which is a significant advantage. Secondly, it’s clear he’s got good reactions, and it highlights how reactions in this game is still the defining trait on how good a player is or can get.
He’s clearly a great player. However, we should be honest as to why he’s stomping so hard.
No no my friend. Almost every competitor so far has been on next-Gen. So far, it's been a relatively level playing field.
But even then, everybody seems to just eat this guy's storm rushes. I know it can be fast, but on 60 frames it should be a parry almost everytime. Even the raider was missing them a ton... and he's a reaction monster.
The Orochi is excellent and the skill is undeniable, but the success of storm rush is puzzling.

I still can't get my head around how some movesets till this day of orochi haven't been nerfed the dodge for example like is still canceling everything and all the other moves makes it seem like orochi got like no weaknesses, he got reach speed, counters, has enough health, enough stamina like what is his weakness literally😂

I love to play lawbringer and I might going to main him cause its fun to play him but the only thing I hate about lawbringer's attack is the when he parry someone and he uses top attack counter he takes alot of time to land a hit before enemy deflects it. Hoping that they buff lawbringer's attack alot faster to punish enemy alot quicker.
Im also confused why lawbringer never use his light attack when he parry him. He just keeps spamming the heavy attack even he knows orochi can predict his moves already :/
It does not need no god forsaken buff. If you want someone fast then play raider.
@@co_untryyy about raider, its not fun to play for me so yeah and I was talking about the parry top attack which is can be easily counter parry by enemy cause of very slow attack unlike other hybrid/heavy heroes.
