A "Big Win" and compared to his mentor (Gene Wood), Rich Jeffries's voice was not appropriate enough for "The Price is Right!"

$54,772 was the new daytime record after this set on 2/17/1986 in daytime on Rod's first permanent episode. It took 20 more years until the 35th season premiere to get a $100K winner on Daytime TPIR

I would very likely realize that going in if I were a contestant there, and that so being, if this were the game, and I won it (or any car game), I would be very much focused on trying to win money from the Wheel to pay the taxes (but then again, they tax that too, so you're probably still holding the bag when it comes to the car and other big-ticket things).
