My most favorite thing in the world is watching a full episode of anything 1980's with the actual commercials from the day it aired. It's like a time machine that males me reminisce and feel warm and fuzzy inside. Instant subscription.
I'm right there with you!! Even down to appreciating the air date. The 80’s was truly one of the best times in human history. We were blessed to be part of it. 💕
I am the proud owner of this Lincoln town car, I have had it for about two years now and bought it from the daughter of this man who won it here...on the ”Price is Right”
And you know when it comes to ole free knowing anything about a serviceman's rank with their pins he wouldn't know zilch. He is a hard host to like. IDK why 5hwu pay ho. The big bucks to do such an mediocre job. Oh free u need togo to training school on dealing with contestants.
Bob Barker is a legend. These night time episodes were awesome. This brings back memories,I was 11 years old and living in Columbia,SC at this time,so it's nice to see that this was the WLTX feed out of Columbia. 46 years old in Tennessee now lol
What a show!! Two $10,000 winners in one show, also three beautiful cars winning on the same night!!! This is the kind of game show than I'm wanted (and loved)!!!
I've never understood why on Punch A Bunch the contestant only gets to have one of the dollar amounts in the holes, but on Plinko they get the sum of ALL the dollar amounts.
Shirley's $10,000 win in Grand Game and Anne following her in Punch-a-Bunch really amazed me. At 22:46 the win in Grand; at 39:00 is the ten thou in Punchboard. YESSS!
Pretty cool that they let Keith win the car after they accidentally revealed the wrong number. That's the right thing to do in my opinion, and I don't think you'd see that type of thing these days. They'd probably just fire the employee and then tell Keith that they'd send him a Whitman sampler or something...
But if that middle number were a 1, he would've lost (he guessed 6, and he could lose no more than $4), even with the mistake that only gave away the next-to-last number.
I don't know why they stopped making high quality cars like that Town Car. The watered down fiber glass versions don't measure up to the Standard of excellence of that awesome vehicle.❤
Memories as a kid ..... I remember when my family would vacation to San Diego, Ca. every summer in the mid to late 80's and I would just adore this game show and then look forward to watching in San Diego, Ca.!!! My sister and I would watch and the day years later the inevitable that Bob Barker was at the end of the trek ..... I was saddened.
a star camera filter affixed to one of the cameras. the number of fine filaments cris-crossed (like a tennis racket only far more and far thinner often give the look of a star flare without showing the filaments. unless they screw up with focus or is a poorly designed filter.
Originally, he wore traditional suits as seen in this night 🌙 time ⏲️ spent episode, but it was Bob who encouraged him to wear his more colorful signature suits, aka flamboyant sequin suits.
The VCR was $800, which suggests the uploader of this video paid at least that much to record this video for us. Hopefully the investment has been returned. :3
Whoa was reading the comments on this after I watched, one from 2 years ago saying wow I am watching this exact date 25 years later! then realize its the exact date 27 years later! haha what are the odds. weird
@@SamWesting Now you're talking. I have a black 87 SS, 40k mi, rust free, not an aerocoupe . One of 5 classics I own. Dale won 13 races in his 87 MC Wrangler that year. Pass in the grass! I'm crazy in love with G body GMs.
@erikdraven1731 And this happened on the show's 30th season premiere back in 2002 with Plinko in the first half, Grand Game in the second...a quickie game, to boot.
When the show was eligant and had class with 3 beautiful models & the greatest game show host, now it's pure trash with Don Carey or Greg Carey whatever his name is , show is fixed and phony and ratings have sank like the Titanic

Oh No I'm warm and Fuzzy TÒo, I'm a .PLUSHIE,in a G😮d way!we Love everybody!❤😊
Something about watching these older episodes just makes me happy
I feel you 💯
Me too. I teared up when he finally showed excitement.
Yes same here.
Same here
Same here.
I am the proud owner of this Lincoln town car, I have had it for about two years now and bought it from the daughter of this man who won it here...on the ”Price is Right”
He was 75 here. I hope they got to enjoy at least one of those trips.
Wow amazing.
@william blackstock not as shiny of course but it’s still in decent shape.
Awesome
@@myskinny1 it would be pretty cool to post a video of it here so we could see it.
Joseph is among the humblest contestants I've ever seen on this show. Pretty amazing in and of itself.

That Monte Carlo is nice but wow that Town Car is a beauty.

Never seen Bob in a tux before and wow is he absolutely rocking it.
Even 34 years later that's a hell of a night let alone a day!
Bob has the most amazing voice ever, I loved him and this show :)
and painting his hair
I remember watching The Price is Right with Bob Barker as a kid. Fun show.
Wow! I am watching this exactly 25 years from the day it originally aired!!!
I've never understood why on Punch A Bunch the contestant only gets to have one of the dollar amounts in the holes, but on Plinko they get the sum of ALL the dollar amounts.
Wow, hard to believe it's been just about 25 years ago to this day. How time flies. I miss these days of TPiR.
Harder to believe that it's been 9 years since you wrote this comment.
@@AdamBorseti Hard to believe it's been almost two full weeks since you replied here, time really flies.
Now it's 35 years ago.
Never crazy about TPIR, but have found a new appreciation for it since Bob Barker's passing in August 2023
Shirley's $10,000 win in Grand Game and Anne following her in Punch-a-Bunch really amazed me. At 22:46 the win in Grand; at 39:00 is the ten thou in Punchboard. YESSS!
Yah 10 k in 86 would have been awesome
I don't recall a showcase where one is worth more than three times the other.
Im 41 now been watching it since day one with my dad.
Besides Bob, Rod and an audience....the show feels exactly the same !
Man, a $13,000 Trans Am. Now normal new cars don't sell for less than $15,000...
That Town Car is a beast!
if the ownwer was smart he would keep it for ever and you'll see it on the road today.
I hope Mr Joseph got to enjoy that luxury automobile, the Lincoln Town Car.
"Now Keith, what do you think is the *fourth* number in the price of the car??" lmao
Corey Law still had him play that 4th number off, even after the accidental reveal.
Yay! The 5-digit “Lucky 7” debuted. Wow! Except for a slight mishap.
Wow awesome show
stagefright and disbelief. we'd all act the same :)
@@blind_t2 that was a cool way to do it. :)
congradulation on winning that Limo and trips very good for the 70 year old man.
Wow! That Town Car is the end.
A very special Lucky 7!! Love these shows xoxo

Something similar happened on a Classic Concentration show. The lady couldn't see the board due to an computer error.
They would have given him the car today to avoid a lawsuit or bad PR.
Still the best game show ever
For those who (intend to) make outrageous comments about a sailboat, please desist, because TPIR has ALWAYS offered sailboats as prizes.
I love the fact that if you don't watch the video and just listen to the audio, it sounds exactly like it does today.
I hope that one guy who won the Trans Am at 4:04 kept it. It’s a classic today they’re getting harder to find.
The carousel horse sits in the garage to this day.
IMHO, this was the best of the six specials.
I don't know why they stopped making high quality cars like that Town Car. The watered down fiber glass versions don't measure up to the Standard of excellence of that awesome vehicle.❤
What a beauty ❤

42:13 Damn! That's a nice car!
Joseph and his wife married in 1936. My God..............
I was about to comment on how that was actually a nice Monte Carlo..then I saw the Lincoln Town Car comments...wow!
I loved how they did that with the lights!!!!!! Always better when they turn the lights on in during the opening sequence.
As what they say in the Holy Bible, “Let there be light!”

Wow. Joseph and his wife celebrating their 50th just three months before my grandparents celebrated their 50th. The memories...
I miss the 80's... The Price is Right 👍
Back then, that sounded about right. Look at the Blu-rays when they first came out! $500! Now they are around $100 or less!
Hey..guy from the past. I am a timetraveller from the year 2019. Prepare yourself for war against the Androids!
Thank you so much for posting this! Love it
Rod in his prime!
True dat
He's a great guy. He's so cute

God, helped Keith. WOW, what a Fantastic episode.
might have been fixed because this show loves military. they always get on when in uniform
@ maybe not, but God cares about his children.
Now, was it that God helped Keith, or was it that God WASN'T there for that sign turner person? 🤔 "Ah whoops! That sign turner must've been a Jew." 😂
I remember watching this , and starting with Dian in a bikini. I was hook.. Best way to start.
I hope The Price is Right: The Barker Era airs this episode soon on it's free channel.
Im Watching this exactly 26 Years LATER! Since Aire
RIP Bob, you were the best 🥺
I'm a Wisconsinite myself. SWEET!
Awesome commercial at 49:00. Pity nobody has that Press Your Luck episode.

I'm pretty sure I saw this on WJXT, when I was vacationing in Jacksonville, FL at my grandparents' house.
Those bathing suits brought out the best.
That's from WLTX Channel 19 in Columbia, SC.
I live the Columbia SC WLTX area but in Orangeburg county, SC

Excellent episode!
Holy crap that monte carlo 👍👍😎
That Apple computer though....
Danny Burris Pricing hasn’t changed much on Macs
2k dollars back then is like 15k dollars today. And to think it probably had only 128k memory.
I was 2 weeks away from birth which this aired.

@stephenhkovacs That was the first time I'd ever seen two cash games in one show. Come to think of it, I dunno if I've seen one since.
Rip Bob
Rod Roddy brings me Memories
86 monte Carlo hell yea :D and a car phone :
The LS model was nice. But I remembered pining for the Monte Carlo SS Aerocoupe, like the one Dale Earnhardt drove in NASCAR. 👍

@TVLubber You're absolutely right, TVLubber. I didn't know this until you told me. Thanks.
Nice car
I wonder if Graham moved to Ontario.
@cnlaw Giving the last number made it almost too easy since the first number, even today, is really easy to figure out.

WOAH! From the Grand Game to the Showcase Showdown? Barker's got magic up his sleeve. But alas, it's just basic video editing.
mhmrules The crowd was murmuring when they saw Any Number.
I'm from Wisconsin, just like Shirley is, or was.
