My Favs! This one is a must try! I used my @buchymix heavy duty blender to crush it!
I used;
1 cup groundnuts
2 cups wheat
2 cups white corn
2cups millet
2 cups soya beans
2 cups Guinea corn
1 cup rice
1/2 cup tiger nuts
1 cup oats
10 pitted dates

Soya beans.... The one I made yesterday was tiger nut

Did you wash your plantain before toasting
I do add dehydrated unripe plantain, dehydrated sweet potato and cashew nut. Thanks very much. I will add rice, oat and and tigernut when next I make tom brown.
Please can I use oat seed?
What is dehydrated?
@@inyamajoy7934 it's dried plantain and potatoe. Especially done using a dehydrator to keep the nutrients intact.

Since you're toasting all the grains, why not do it at once?
I am guessing some may get done before others and since grains are tiny it won't be easy separating them.
They don't have the same drying state, one may get dry before another

You can also do a wet preparation provided you have constant power supply to power the refrigerator where you portion into smaller quantity for single preparation

It depends on where you stay in Osun state, you can get from those Hausa that sell tigernut in wheelbarrow, you can get cloves from them too. Also those herbs sellers sell cloves too

There are commercial blenders that blends only powdery substances like Soya beans and Co, they definitely blend it

After cooking my Tom brown, while it's not coming out smooth
Stir consistently, add water when it’s thickening and always prepare under low heat
Best way of getting it so smooth is first of all put boiling water on fire and then take the quantity you want and mix with cold water (thick), then pour it into the boiling water and stir continuously on one direction
You didnt sieve yours after grinding.....

Hot water please.
Tossing doesn't cook the grain.
So you need boiling water then add the puree mix of your prepped flour.
