I love how you explained the process so clearly. though, I have to say, while date powder and syrup are healthier alternatives, I feel like they can’t really replace sugar in every recipe. some desserts just need that classic sweetness that’s hard to achieve with dates. what do you all think?
@@ericferrell3775 I think date syrup will still give you that classy sweetness you want, the only disadvantage is that it changes color of what ever you add it to but you can as well use sugarcane syrup instead, another healthy natural sweetener. You’ve given me some great ideas. Thank you. I use date pieces because they’re cheaper. They’ve got rice flour on them. So, I rinse them to get rid of the rice. I’ll try your steps next.

@@elizabethashibuogwu from my personal experience, the highest I have left mine outside the fridge was 2 weeks and it did not spoil... From the look of things, it can stay more than 2 weeks, but I have not experiment more than 2 weeks outside the fridge ❤️
Uwc ❤️ I used gas oven, so I set it to the lowest temperature (with gas oven, it's either high or low, no function to select) But if your oven has different functions, select the dehydrating function on a medium to low temperature. I hope this helps ❤️

You should have washed them before deseeding so they will not absorb much water, if they are too soft, you can turn them to date paste or syrup.. But if not, you can keep drying them on the lowest heat of your oven till you see the color change a bit, then you bring them out and allow to cool down and get strong
@@anaacltr but you can see it from the video, I bought 7k dates, then brought out the quantity I used, if you have that white transparent rubber I used in soaking the dates, , fill it up and use it, that was the exact quantity i used. But if you don't have it, you can buy it then use it as your measurement. The white transparent rubber I used in soaking the dates overnight, I believe you can see it from the video.

When it's prepared well (making sure the water in it dried up very well during the last stage of cooking) it can last outside the fridge for more than 2 weeks, I don't know for months because I have not tried keeping it outside the fridge for months..

Truth is I had tried this method repeatedly at home until i started buying Nature's Flo Dates Powder( the jar you used in this video)...and mehn i just settled with their superior quality and great value because this is not anywhere close to thier products. If you aren't their Ambassador, using their jar here for your demonstration of what is not in their bottle is a misrepresentation of their brand and misleading because khaki no be leather o! Lol. May I suggest you take this down and make a proper video that you can take absolute ownership of. ✌️
