My favourite gypsy jazz tutor, though my French is "pas bon" Merci.
I noticed that newer makers of the gypsy guitars are putting a position dot at the ninth fret rather than the tenth fret. I guess that's so the players in the U.S. who are used to a position dot at the ninth fret won't be confused, ha.. I took all the dots out of my gypsy guitar fingerboard and inlayed matching wooden dots, and also filled in the side dot at the tenth fret, and put one on the ninth fret. Works for me.
