I just found a 61 ls in a box of old RC stuff i picked up at a yard sale. The bearings felt great so i put some heat to the carb to free it up mounted it to my test stand and it fired right up! Runs awesome.

Nice motors them are Mark, worthwhile spending the time dialling it in, well done.

Hi Jerry, thanks for the lovely comment, appreciated. Plenty more engine videos to come, I love running something a bit different, how often do you go to the airfield and its all OS, great engines, but it's interesting to run something a bit different, for me it a big part of the hobby

Very nice. One of my favourite engines I've owned was an SC75 (os clone) that I had a OS reduction drive on the front. Absolute power horse, pulled my Fw190 around with a 14x8 three blade. Wish I never got rid of it. Be very hard to replace now. Great video, and hello from New Zealand

watching you do this and the Irvine 61 it seems they both produce around the same power ?

Got two Moki 210 (35cc), real 'stump pullers'! Real shame model engines are virtually unobtainable from new.

      Moki still exists !
And they propose a new twin 270 inline, small brother of the 360.

Hahahaha, good question! But if I had a plane for every engine I own I would get through the front door of the house. It is a beautiful engine and should be flown

Maybe just loose the muffler, and put an expansion chamber on it.
