@@ahmedanssaien6449 Fun fact: Napoleon was actually 5’7” which was the average height for his time. The confusion comes from the French unit conversion/his tall army/his temper.
@@matt009817 the confusion is almost 100% down to depicting him wrong and the length measurement they used back then was different, recently watched a documentary on him and it had the up to date facts in their 😉 (guy was apparently a lil bit taller than average for his day 🤷♂️).
The "Intel $5000 Extreme Tech Upgrade" show turns out to be the "LTT How much stuff my workers stole from the office" show.
im waiting for someone to steal the firetruck

Protip for Matt: N64 emulation on the Wii Virtual Console is superior in quite literally every way to Nintendo Switch Online's emulation, please keep the homebrew Wii as your go-to machine :) A man of refined tastes.
Actually I’d disagree. While N64 Online launched poorly, the colors are much more accurate and the gameplay is actually almost perfect now with more framerate than slowdown of the Wii. The Wii and Wii U had terrible dark faded colors on their N64 emulators, so this Switch one is a step up.
@@Chris.Batchelor but also, NSO has less of a game selection for N64 than Wii Emulation
I'm shocked he managed to squeeze a 4k 120 tv, iPad and whole new computer into a 5k budget
Well, the PC is a more modest build compared to the others going for 3080s and whatnot, so that's already a LOT of money saved
@@Shakzor1 Prices are also more reasonable now which helps.
I built my pc for around 1.6k including the new 1440p 144Hz IPS monitor which was 340€ on its own.
The components I remember:
Ryzen 7 2700X 180€
Corsair RM750x 100€
Case a generic 60€ one
Motherboard Gigabyte X570 Aorus Elite (because I intend to buy a used 5950x eventually) 200 and something
32GB of 3200MHz ram 130€ (I'm a programmer and I usually have 1000 apps open at once, the extra memory is worth its weight in gold)
2TB Sabrent Rocket NVME ssd 160€ (on Black Friday on Amazon two offers stacked for a little while and I don't think they were supposed to lmao)
Sapphire RX 5700XT Nitro OC 415€
I later added a Noctua NH-D15 but it wasn't included in the original build. It's damn expensive but it's amazing, I've never cleaned it and even though it's full of dust by now even at full load with an all-core overclock I can barely hear it.
Late 2019/early 2020 build. That would leave 3300€ for an iPad and a TV, more than enough. Prices now are higher and he went with a higher end case, but still I'd be surprised if he spent more than 2500 on the pc.
@@grn1 Everyone one get's them at MSRP so they didn't need to use the full budget on a GPU. That's why some of them talked about how lucky they were to get 3080s at MSRP while many couldn't get one at all. They just had to get EVGA or whoever to send one for MSRP.
Easy Peasy to have a PC, TV and and iPad. It’s not even difficult.
You can even do it with OLED

I will say, I got into vinyl records around 2019, and my biggest joy about them is the stuff it comes with. Its kind of like getting a collectable from an artist you really like, and you can listen to it too. Thats how I see it at least. Its a collectible from a band I really enjoy, that comes with lots (or little) amounts of stuff, and I can listen to the album while I look at the stuff.
HOWEVER... if all you care about is sound, and only sound, a good digital setup is what I would go with. Vinyl is hit or miss. Several albums I have are fantastic on their own, but are terrible presses. Some will sound great for the first half, then slowly degrade as the needle gets to the middle. Some skip right out of the packaging. Some just sound terrible. There are some vinyls that sound great though. Some that sound better than digital. But then you get into the speakers youre using. Some speakers give vinyls a warmth that cant be replicated. But those speakers usually fail in other regards. Hunting down a GOOD press of an album you like can be an absolute nightmare
Basically, I see vinyls as a good way to support a band you like, get some cool collectables, and have a tangible experience while youre listening. But to get the best possible sound with no where near the hassle, I would go digital.
I always felt the the vinyl resurgence was more of a reaction to the "make music louder" wars with the awful compression practices from the studios and the crap spotify does as oppose to any actual limitation in digital music. There are physical limitations to vinyl that do not allow for that kind of maximization of the wave form, so the music is allowed to "breath" so to speak. It's important to note that digital has the capacity to sound better beyond what any analog storage can do. That doesn't mean it always is and that's not the medium's fault. It's more on the many choices and compromises from the many people that made the file.
Also, it is nice to actually own a physical copy of something as oppose to just another flac file on your PC.
@@joshuapettus6973 interesting point about the loudness BS the studios were doing, I don't think it's enough of a reason to go back to vinyl though.
@@Cluuey I agree. I wouldn't "go back" to vinyl. Most of life there is no practical way to listen to one. But on the side, it has always been a very enjoyable way to listen to music. Next to a spotify though, I will always prefer my own library.
during the beginning of the pandemic, vinyl and merch were one of the few ways that bands were able to earn a living without concerts and festivals. I've practically only purchased older vinyl as collectables but that is when I started building a newer library. I'd say it's a collection hobby akin to funko pops, the audiophile stuff is a hard sell even to me.
Somehow the more I watch this the more I realize Linus has so many different employees that know how to push his buttons. And I love it
I think landing a good call on Linus is part of the interview process.
Props for using DeX so effectively! I use it everyday on my Note 10. It's shockingly capable, and I wish devs would embrace the potential by pushing more desktop class software to Android.
Here here! If only the usb c and thunderbolt standards would be adopted in sub $100 monitor setups! The phone itself is already expensive and the current dongle jungle on my desk between my pc, surface and note 20 are rediculous, to natively switch between builds. I know you can run DeX on pc which is cool but it lags if you do so.
@@jagtan13 I run a 34" 3440x1440 Viewsonic with USB-C PD and DisplayPort Alt mode. I got it from Amazon for around $500 CAD. Definitely more than $100 but it works great with DeX, along with my work laptop.
Android should start a standard, neither dex or the Lenovo versión are going to thrive
@@gbenselum DeX has been around for 5+ years and is still developing and improving, it's more a lack of developers delivering desktop-class software to make use of it, along with poor marketing from Samsung.
AOSP has a desktop framework and there's plenty of documentation on how to optimize apps.
I'd agree, but because Samsung's flagships don't have microsd slots anymore I'd rather keep my phone and desktop separate, even if dex were a perfect desktop replacement.
Linus not knowing who Billlie Eilish is kind of surprised me a little. Actually, a lot.
This is the best series of videos you've done. I love it when you give away stuff to your employees or other people. Just fun to watch.
Why would he not just buy a receiver and hook it up to the sound bar?! The idea of the speaker directly touching the record player is a bad idea too... Damn it, i'm one of them.
Should have bought a phono pre-amp. and connected to sound bar.
Receiver is waste of money, and wont be as good as a pre-amp.
I'm kinda surprised that speaker product even exists. It's obviously a niche enthusiast product aimed directly at record player owners, but record players are notoriously sensitive to vibrations and folks try really hard to isolate their turntable from the speakers.
I found three audiophiles!
@@priceisalr1ght There were plenty of models of car record players you could always use. Granted the increased needle pressure ensures your records wear out faster.
Considering I've just seen he has a Billie Eilish album on vinyl (which I can guarantee the audio was digital from start to finish), it absolutely doesn't matter what his amplification solution is, playing it from UA-cam through the sound bar is probably going to sound better.
Linus walking across the room without changing his face or posture at 17:00 killed me
New meme format right there!
Gonna need that printed on a mousepad now...
It just looks like a clip straight up from a slander video
I love it!
When he looks at the billie eilish vinyl HAHAH
16:41 Those Mackies are studio reference monitors. They are for getting a more flat audio signal which will give a mixing engineer a better idea of what the song will sound like on multiple( even crappy phone speakers). They arent really designed for listening back under the best circumstances. So yeah the $99 mackies are better for mixing, but you can probably get a better sound overall from a $50 set if you really shopped around.
The real problem is the green accent color. Guy has a sound bar under his TV for God's sake, don't think he cares about sound quality.
No, flat line is the best line IMO. No added colour to the sound - just like a sound designer heard it when they mastered it.
@@Vladimir_Kv Only it isn't because they're inexpensive tiny monitors, which simply will not reproduce music as accurately and as detailed as said engineer would have heard it. Not to speak of the total lack of proper bass extension that any speaker that size will suffer from
Linus isnt wrong, the mackie shelf speakers sound pretty damn good for the price you pay for em.
I understand why the LGA 1700 mount was overlooked. When I was building my new system I knew it came with the LGA1700, but It was shipped separately which led to a bit of confusion during building. I’m still siding with Matt on this one, given that he literally told them about it.
Hey LLT Team, what about a video about your Tag/QR-System and Inventory Software - that would be very interesting.
Linus Leet Tricks
On the latest WAN show colton mentioned they use an open source software called SnipeIt
@@Conjo Yeah! It's open source software with an implementation developed by the Floatplane guys. Matt's procurements system is also part of it.
The tags are actually the least complex part of the system. The QR codes just coincide with the number below them. The only benefit to using them is that I can use a barcode scanner to check items out, similar to a library or retail store. All the tags you see equal one entry in the inventory system database.
Floatplane exclusive
I think linus is doing these videos just to see what his workers "steal" from the office
Yep, always the first thing he goes looking for. 🤣
I would imagine that Matt's setup was even more janky than my own, but probably a lot more capable. I used a Raspberry Pi 3 for about 5 years as my sole computer. That was tough, at times, but a lot of fun. Had a wireless keyboard that used a dongle, not bluetooth, so it was almost as good as wired. Though browsing the web was absolutely excruciating. I miss the days when most websites worked properly with elinks.
the fact that he got the job at ltt without a pc is hilarious
Fake it till you make it. I've used this mantra more than once to secure a job and besides, your interviewer doesn't care about the tech your carrying. They want to know about YOU and what YOU can offer too the company. If you land with a good company they may even help you get up to speed, which is shown in this vid.
FINALLY!!! I recall feeling so bad for him when he brought his xbox on the ltt staff computer video because he didn’t have a pc
He also said that he used Samsung Dex to do any office work as well. This upgrade is genuinely filled with wholesomeness.
linus needs to pay his employees better!!!!
Meh, it's not that big of a step down from Windows S honestly. It is a PC, just a slow AMD one with Microsoft on it.
I've heard that having the speakers on the same shelf/platform as the record player is bad because the vibrations are transferred from the speakers to the record player, so having the player on top of the speaker must be loads worse.
indeed, you want them almost completely isolated from one another if possible. the added vibrations are really bad for the grooves of the record and will make it wear out a lot quicker.
I really would love to know if Intel has rules on these about not allowing AMD GPUs for these.
literally only place for intel product placement lmao they not gonna let that go aswell :)
We're about to see alot of those new ARC 770s in these builds then
If i got the extreme tech upgrade my first question would literally be: "can I go full AMD? Is that allowed? Cuz I think it'd be REALLY funny"
@@Xnoob545 well no as even if Intel didnt specify it lets say it'd still be a bad promotion and most likely wont be put up on video cause why would your boss (Linus for example) post that knowing it was sponsored by Intel and consequently losing the sponsorship for these vids.
Tho as a joke it would be really funny
Yes, digital formats sound way better than vinyl (I collect records and I'm pretty sure). But one thing you don't do is put the turntable on top of the speakers even if you have a quality record with a more stable tonearm. Speaker vibrations can set off the tonearm and cause skips or worse, scratches due to the needle hitting the record.
Digital is far inferior to analogue records.
@@ChrisDaytrader insert that one famous Ben Shapiro quote here
@@suborgulag7289 “Facts don’t care about your feelings.” :)
@@ChrisDaytrader Nice bait.
@@CockatooDude I try ::) but i deffo prefer records.
A speaker that you put a turntable on top of? That is literally THE WORST IDEA. unless that speaker is REALLY weak (which could be possible) the turntable will pick up the vibrations from the speaker (some are even subsonic) and can either make the Needle skip or cause a feedback loop that can blow out your speakers, at the Very least you will be worsening the playback quality of your record. I had to use Vibrapods and Squash balls to get my turntable to not pickup vibrations from my speakers and mine is NOT sitting on top of them.
only good thing under a record player is a pavement tile
I like using vinyl to prop up uneven chairs
I think you mean infrasonic. Subsonic means slower than the speed of sound which I'm sure you can figure doesn't make too much sense in this context.
Yeah, that stood out to me too. Technically the side-firing speakers can cancel out each other's vibrations, but nothing you can do about the front firing. If the front-firing speakers are only handling mid-high frequencies the vibrations probably won't be enough to matter, but still not good practice. Either way, it was pretty obvious that sound quality was not the focus (and if it was you might as well go digital).
@@nukfauxsho lol a good that sounds like a rather slippery solution but to each their own

@@patemathic you can still watch them on Grand Tour on Amazon. Same shit, without the British TV bullshit.

Why core i5? At $5000 budget?
I know it's relatively unpopular, but digital music formats are better in almost every way. However, there is one example that I know of where a vinyl record is capable of something that is, as far as I know, not replicable digitally. The band "Defeater" has an album called "Empty Days & Sleepless Nights" where, at the end of the song "White Oak Doors" the vinyl intentionally stops progressing to the next groove. It will not proceed to the next song until you manually move the needle. It's an artistic choice that reflects the death of a viewpoint story character. Digitally, the album simply features a prolonged silence, so it's a different experience on vinyl with the listener being forced to progress the track themselves. I know of no other examples of this technique, but it's the best argument I know of for listening to vinyl over digital. (Edit: corrected the album name to an & instead of the word "and", also corrected the song name to "Doors" instead of "Door".)
That! ^^^
Locked grooves also allow a record to start looping at the end of playbacks. Also if you like DJing, the tactility of mixing vinyl is more challenging and satisfying than digital. Although I agree that digital just sounds better and is easier.
The other reason to get vinyl is compression. I have some records specifically because I *_cannot_* find a digital version that doesn't have awful compression or clipping in some songs
There's CDs that have a very long silence track before the last song, which is very similar
@@eragon5779 what people fail to realize is that Vinyl IS already compressed. It is just physical compression versus digital. CDs and magnetic tape (not casettes but reel to reel) are superior in bandwith. There is a reson 45 rpm 12 inch records exist: to reduce physical compression. Also, as long as you keep moving the data to a new medium, you can prevent data rot in a digital medium. It's a lot harder to keep transfering analog mediums as they decay, vinyl included.
the thing on the venyl is the waaaaaaay better compression rate. like spotify sounds soooo bad on good speakers, but..... on the avarage audio set (yes also your top of the line home setup) spotify will probably sound more dynamic, and also the user experience has up and down sides, so as an audio engineer i think both is fair for day to day use and there is no better option :)
I love the custom intros for the good videos! but all of your videos are good!

I'd slide the soundbar under the glass tbh
Hey, @Linustechtips you should try the nr200p inverted mod. That way you can have the rad at the top and also mount the gpu vertically.
16:30 I have to agree with Linus, switching to LP system with integrated speakers in the base of the player just for the asthetic reasons is dumb. If you don't mind the audio quality, use the soundbar that's already sitting under the TV.
I just made myself a tiny system for casual listening. My $50 Stanton turntable plugs into a $50 X-Fi HD USB sound card (controlled by a $20 ThinkPad T420 that's tucked away); the card plugs into a $29.99 Sharp micro HiFi Bluetooth receiver with $7.50 Yamaha bookshelf speakers and a $3.50 Yamaha powered subwoofer, and best of all it was all thrifted and second-hand components. I don’t think the LTT mat would have matched but the blue in his totally clashes with the rest of the setup. Just get a plain black/white one at that point.
I like buying records, usually as merch, to support bands, and for the sleeve art. some records do sound interesting on vinyl, but I get how impractical it is for sound overall. I just like looking st album art and throwing money away. The ritual of taking the record out and putting the needle on can also be fun at times. Especially if you have a nice record player.
Do a vinyl and digital audio comparison video with the fancy ear microphones and graphs and stuff.
Ever since i saw the video where everyone brought their computers in, i believed Mat deserved an intel 5k upgrade asap. I am glad he finally got it especially in comparison to what everyone else got.

Very big point of having those LP-records was they had possibly super cool cover art. The whole package was the coolest object you can own. You waited for a new LP two years. And one thingy was that you could see the music from the surface of the LP. For example one could immediately spot the ballad and longer hit effort. In fact the visual observation gave good clue if the record was full of hits or was it a forced product. Of course a simulation image of an LP-record could be easily created for any current music player - on smart phone or PC screen. It appears like such culture does not exist but there is no reason it could not reborn.
Glad you guys got the Z690I Ultra Plus. The Z690I Ultra has serious issues with PCIe 4.

Having a turntable, which is a machine that reads vibrations from a physical track on a vinyl disk, sitting on a speaker, a device which amplifies and emits vibrations, sounds like a beyond stupid idea.
Just get a set of stereo bookshelf speakers... FFS
Yeah, as someone who enjoys vinyl, that turntable speaker shits me….
Who even designs such a thing?!
12:58 oh, the skills
personally i like the bit of warm fuzz that old records give, it's like ASMR to me lmao. There's also a huge nostalgia factor, I have my grandfather's old turntable and I remember him always putting on records to listen and it's one of the few things I have to remember him by.
Good job Matt, we all appreciate you .
As a professional audio nerd, digital done correctly (which it pretty much always is now) recreates sound perfectly, but with those speakers you won't be able to tell the difference anyway. Vinyl has a certain vibe which is nice though
Vinyl is a perfect way to show people you were never interested in music just want to fit in thinking it'd make you look cooler.
@@RJ-vy4yd HAHHAAHA great take!
I love music, but ill stick to amazon music vs large Frisbees!
@@RJ-vy4yd We're not all under the age of 30 😏
Linus, you seem like the best person to work for ever. So many of us are in the ditch with just trash for leaders. Thank you for giving the rest of us hope.
hopefully you dint comment this from your work wifi
Have that mobo and riser cable. You can run it in pcie 4.0 no problemo. The older recalled non plus model couldn't do it, but that one can. Also, 1 ssd slot goes to chipset lanes, the other goes direct to CPU lanes. Both are gen 4, but did notice random speeds were slower on the chipset vs CPU. I spent month fighting the old non plus board with the same CPU and a 3060ti. AMA.

Noice, always brightens my day when I say a Tech-Upgrade.
Me too
I'm with Matt on the wires. By the time I had a wireless keyboard, wireless mouse, wireless headset, 2 wireless controllers for my VR setup (and numerous other RF devices in the room) I had all kinds of random wireless interference issues. They didn't resolve until I reduced the number of wireless connections in my rig.
5:34 I have the lite version of this motherboard and I F**KING love it! difference in lite verson is that there from the first run where it can only do pci gen 3 but for $149 It enabled me to afford to go 12th gen and not having to buy overpriced DDR5, its got beefy vrms and is great for overclocking.
Built exact same case a few weeks ago. Specifically went AIO with the pump in the rad so the rad could be on the bottom. No risk of pump bubbles in the stand cpu/pump combo, since the CPU is the high point of this AIO build.
Doesn't air ride to the highest point of a cooling setup? So wouldn't you risk air locking the cpu if there were air bubbles
@@timothylockhart2009 You don't want the air rising and getting stuck in the pump (and potentially killing it) which is what would happen if the pump was in the CPU block - having said that air getting trapped in the block will raise CPU temps, but it's the best solution if you want to bottom mount the rad.
you do not want the cpu at the high point for the reason timothy stated. bubbles rise and if theres a spot for them to get trapped you will overheat parts of your cpu
I love these videos. I love seeing what everyone gets. Man what I could do with $5000 for an upgrade hell i could do alot with $1000
1000 dollars can get you a crazy pc rn
@@crimson7151 Wouldn't say a crazy PC, but defenetly something usable. For what I consider a crazy PC you would need to spend about 2 grand i would say. Crazy PC = close to top of the line.
@Arcturus upgrade wise it would do alot for what I need it to do.
@@NoahBuehler I dont need a crazy PC but upgrade wise $1000 would go along way for what I need it to do
@@CorbyQ I guess yes, depends on what you run right now. Also depends on what you do with your PC. I edit Videos and for colorgrading 4k 10bit h265 footage I did end up getting a rtx 3080 ti, since that was the only card I could get at msrp this winter. (I did not want to have to transcode everything, since that requires a ton of time and is just annoying to do.) But if you just game at a resolution smaller than 4k I tottaly agree, you don't need a PC that cost like 2k.
1:50 you can use 2 candles as a sensor bar spaced out about the length of the sensor bar would be ... like tea lights or any open flame candle both the same ones so they are level
DAMN O.Ohow the power supply sparked in min 19:49 wild lol
as a modest record collector, I can say the experience of listening to vinyl records does have a (debatably) desirable je ne sais quoi. That said, the turntable sound bar thing does seem like a gimmick (for one thing any highish volume could rattle the TT, introducing an unnecessarily difficult-to-isolate vibration).
It's a gimmick to me to, just a good amp and some nice speakers (around 500€ for a pair of very good column speakers) and your play the neighbourhood flat :)
@@Damicske Yeah for sure. I mean, the aesthetic of an all in one speaker/TT tower is nice. But if that's your priority, just connect to a good tv sound bar, which will sound way better than the TT podium/speaker contraption
Seriously...I've been waiting for yall to make another mouse pad...I love that they come in crazy different sizes though...but need some more colors 🤜❤️
That vinyl setup is pain. Hopefully he upgrades soon.
OMG someone that uses Dex! When I worked for Samsung it came out with the S8 and I loved the concept behind having your pc in your pocket and docking it when you arrived home for a larger experience. I just have never actually heard of anyone actually using it in my day to day passing in the cellular industry. There was this guy working on a full windows 10 port to the oneplus 6t but I haven't checked up on it in awhile. Having my rig in my pocket would just be amazing.
Intel Extreme Tech Upgrade is so great.

I'm on Linus's side with the record thing. I want to like records but the sound quality on the same speakers vs digital just isn't good in my experience. Tested different speakers and everything and it just sounds better digital or on CD than a record.
For me I think it comes down to futzing around with your setup and finding all the right components, so that the music you like sounds good to your ears. Everything else is like debating the results of a science experiment. As yeah, you are very right about an apples to apples comparison. On paper everything being the same, digital just produces a more stable and clear sound. ...but again for the hobbyist, we like hearing the warmth that analog can provide.
agree my favorite audio experience is still CD with open headphone ( for the moment a sundara ), in theory flac should get me the same quality but on the cd i own, the cd quality is a bit better than the flac. maybe the mix was a bit different on the cd than on the version on tidal; spotify or deezer.
@@youtubeisnotsogood4390 honestly, I like the idea of collecting records and do still sometimes buy special prints from bands I like, but overall, I just don't see myself making it my primary listening experience given the quality difference and me not really wanting to mess around with testing different things to get the sound I want.
So I've stuck with occasionally buying some records just to have them and primarily using digital sound.
I do like having physical media though because, at some point, some places will lose licensing or whatever. I've seen it happen with anime a bunch of times, music is just as volatile for streaming services and licensing rights and all that.
My dad owns some vinyl records and he got them out of the garage and cleaned them during the pandemic. I never listened to a record before and I was very curious about the sound quality. He doesn't own any 7" singles (he says they used to be ridiculously expensive) so I cannot comment on their sound quality, but 12" LPs (even ones in great condition) sound noticably worse than CDs. But 12" Maxi-Singles (they run at 45 RPM) sound great. Apparently they were mostly made for use in clubs so the grooves are wider which makes the signal much louder, that means you don't hear the vinyl artifacts (hissing, popping, etc.) as much.
Sound quality completely depends on the mix. I have a first print of dark side of the moon on vinyl and the CD. CD and Spotify sound the same. The vinyl sounds different, I can hear things, not cracks, that I can not hear on the digital editions.
But I don't need a vinyl version of Nevermind, it was never mixed for vinyl, so there will be no difference between the CD and the vinyl.
7:30 That 'cool' caught me off guard
Bro with the Torches X record playing, just earned my whole heart :,)
That DOWNgrade gave me anxiety and I hesitated to click on this video for a min lol.
Vinyl for me is about the ritual of turning everything on, taking it out of the cover, cleaning it off, dropping the needle on etc. just makes for a more interactive music experience.
Same for me, you need a really expensive setup for it to sound actually better, I just like collecting big physical copy of my music and making it a nice experience when I listen to them
I definitely get the feeling ritual and nostalgia about his dad's collection are parts of the appeal for Matt.
oh that case has that problem even with the stock fan.... for the NR200P version which was the one before the top mounted radiator version and has both the glass and the mesh side panel version.... its why my SFFL PSU had to be mounted on the bottom one for the SFF PSU and i had no choice but to vertical mount my GPU otherwise the cable coming out of the PSU will not have enough space at all... the newer top mounted radiator version fixed the issue by off setting the fan mounting location further towards the side panels and away from the mobo to fix this issue....
basically this case can only fix either an ATX PSU with a 3d printed brackets you can get on their site or you have to go the SFF PSU with the 90mm fan... i had to force my SFFL PSU to fit in with my GPU vertical mounted and removing the option to use the glass panel which i wanted to use over the mesh panel....
Such a great choice for the PC Case! I'am using the same and it's so easy and intuitive to build.
18:21 I tried wireless(Specifically Bluetooth) keyboard Keychron K1 V5, but I stopped using in wireless mode after days of connection and latency issues. It does work, but sometimes it kills both Bluetooth keyboard and trackball in Windows with brand new USB Bluetooth adapter I bought. I initially suspected the BT adapter, but my Linux laptop also shows similar issue(it does recover after few seconds though). I could've bought different BT adapter or different BT keyboard, but at this point I wasn't willing to spend any more money to troubleshoot the issue. I am done with Bluetooth keyboard, at least for now.
I also updated my K1's firmware to see if it's any better, but it did not help. And even if the connection was stable, it would get instant F when playing rhythm games.
Bluetooth is sadly not a fast protocol at all. Not surprised you had latency issues, especially playing rhythm games. Did you at least get a chance to tune the latency in those games though? If so, what was the offset?
10:35 i'm on matt's side!
The ASRock ITX mobo has 2 m.2 slots too (I have it), they're stacked on the front instead of one on the back and one on the front, which makes me wonder why more mobos don't do that, it seems like a much better solution.
8:58 Linus: So you are sure it will all fit?
Matt: Yyyeeep....😂
I love the gamer Wii! I never knew I would have lost, loved and gained so many devices in a very very short amount a time so I throughly enjoy the downgraded upgrade video and I am here for all of it! I just got my Mac today and she has Intel! Thanks Intel and Thank you Gentlemen!💻👩🏾💻👾
I don't feel anything different from vinyl, it sounds just like CD to me, but I still enjoy the medium. That being said, the Andover Audio Spinbase seems like an idiotic solution if you have *ANY* other speakers in your house. My current Pro-Ject Debut Carbon is hooked up to Elac Uni-fi UF5s and it's ridiculous. Granted those are up to 1K for a pair, but even the uni-fi bookshelf speakers would be better than that Spinbase imo.
My favorite medium is high bitrate downloads from the pirates bay

I love the NR200 case. I have a 10900k under a 280 AIO and a 2.5 slot 3070 and it all fits AND keeps everything very cool
I am looking at getting it in purple for my media pc build. How have the thermals been?
I love my NR200 as well. I got the purple one and I am running a very similar setup. The only jank is that I have a full ATX PSU held in with zip ties.
pretty similar build here. Arctic liquid freezer 2 280mm aio, with an amd ryzen 7 5800 and an Gigabyte AORUS GeForce RTX 3070 Master 8G. it fits snug bit does a good cooling job. under full load max 70°. The NR200 case it the bomb
These are some lucky people. A chill boss and getting new tech. I've never had a new PC and I've always wondered what having a new up to date decent PC was like.
I've stumbled upon several of these and I always appreciate the start of, "Okay lets inventory your house and see what you've legally stolen from me."
At first glance, I felt like this was a boring haul. In the end, it was very well thought out. My only issues are with the iPad and the fancy light bulbs. A TV, gaming PC, turntable, tablet, multiple cameras.... Well done!!
