She doesn't seem to be the type of person to troll. So it hits you when you least expect it.
Her on-screen persona has been established as 'clueless girl given ridiculously expensive tech for thrills and laughs' and thankfully she's comfortable enough in her own skin to not only allow that flawed image to be used for profit, but for her own laughs as well. Nicely done!
@@hippieduck Honestly she comes across as very intelligent and grounded. She has a great sense of humor that shows her ability to look at herself from a third person perspective and poke fun at herself (enough so to literally have Linus shook which is fucking hilarious), and also shows humility and self confidence. Cool person all around, 10/10 would hire.
Shout out to the cameraman for capturing the moment when Linus' soul left his body after getting hit with that one.

This might be the most cost effective and sane $5000 tech upgrade. Like she got a huge variety of very useful things on top of the PC upgrades, even a bunch of art supplies on top of it.

Between Sarah's infectious cheer and Arlo's quest to invade every space, this just may be my favorite LTT vid.
Sarah's setup is actually the first one where the choice of every single component feels like it's been carefully thought out, both by itself and related to the other elements of the build. Nothing is out of place and she got so much stuff out of that 5k check. Kudos to her!

This is probably the most wholistic and well thought-out intel tech upgrade. Ik the budget is high at $5000, but the stuff kept coming and it all matched and was all purposeful and intentional… I would have an aneurysm trying to plan something this thoroughly

I think Sarah's so far has been the most complete tech upgrade overall, she hit all the bases, and had enough left over to accessorize her workspace. This one has been the best episode so far for me.

As someone who is both an artist and gamer myself, I completely understand the want for new art supplies, drawing tablet and the focus on style. Though honestly, I would get so much second hand shit to stretch the budget it would make your head spin. Also would want to put a couple bucks into savings, if that's allowed.
Still waiting on Taran's extreme tech upgrade because the amount of budget going to keyboards alone is going to be staggering

Came here for the Riley pretentious as fuck bashing and was not disappointed.
One of the very first thing I noticed about intel cpus is that they were keyed. Good idea and has saved many a bent pin.And honestly can we just get builtin io sheilds as standard now, so many annoying issues with people incorrectly installing io sheilds before with metal feet in the actual ports etc. Super entertaining video btw, made me smile.

Just a heads up, Universal Audio, along with Focusrite and RME, are probably the most solid audio interfaces you can get. Well, I've never had a UA because the whole ecosystem is expensive, but the other two have been great to me.

Yeah because she didn't waste like $2000 on an overpriced GPU lol. People sometimes forget about efficiency when they suddenly get handed a bunch of cash, but...well it's their loss. You could have traded that +10% in specific gaming FPS for like a bunch of other hardware upgrades.

Sarah has probably got the most well thought upgrade so far. No unnecessary frills. No RTX 3080s. Everything is practical and perfect for gaming and graphic designing. You can tell she put a lot of thought into it (besides the color choice).

A bit dissapointing for graphics card when it comes to bang for her buck as she got a 3060 and not a 3060ti which would have made a huge difference for a slight cost increase
i love the kind of relationship that Linus have with all of his employes, from a company stand point we often forget that all of those people are tecnically ''at work'', and at least here were i live in Italy, is actually pretty hard to keep friendship separated from work, especially when there's money involved is really hard.
And you can say that all of these guys are really in good relationship with each others, BIG kudos to Linus and all the people there!

That is the first one with everything being reasonable and well planned. As a music producer I really like the choice of going universial audio. The volt 1 is actually in an acceptable price range. Thats not something you can say about their other interfaces that are very top of the line and insanely expensive. Rode mic arm is pretty awesome as well. Nothing sucks as much as a cheap mic arm.
That's what I thought it! Pretty nice choice of Audio Equipment! For Streaming more than enough and with enough Headroom for future projects, if needed.

For her needs and her purpose of content this set up both visually and hardware wise is probably one of the best tech upgrade vids from LTT
Yeah, I have the next generation of that motherboard, and it is a very heavy motherboard. By far the heaviest of the 3 computers I have built in the last couple years.

lol, that fluff ball is super friendly, keeps getting involved every chance he gets - most cats are like "there's a lotta noise in that room, I'm gonna go to sleep in another room." That's a pretty solid looking setup. From the aesthetics to the parts choices and everything, for 5k, some really top notch stuff. Good choices all around. Can't really criticize anything there. Double thumbs up and the build looks hella clean.

@@r3toun If you do it a lot they probably are used to it and get curious. They are very curious creatures, after all. If you don't do it often, then just very lucky. Most cats are gone when somebody turns on a dremel, they have very sensitive hearing, the dremel is concert levels of loud to them.

I think besides Dennis, this is probably one of the most awaited tech upgrades as i am really curious on what an Artist (creative) will spend all that money. P.S. I really enjoyed Riley just because you know.. it's Riley. Anthony's no brainer - he's just loveable as a human being and i really liked how he tried to use this as an opportunity to help him in his personal goals.
