I think Season 4 is already planned regardless of what people react. Heck I think s5 and s6 will be irresistible because of what S1 and S2 established and what will happen. And the meetings and buffets will never end. It's a meme at this point
@@lexjordan9910 I think the biggest problem with how people see the show is the one an action show but if you paid attention all the show is the game civilization in a fantasy world character starts in the New World goes from the Stone Age to the Modern Age does the war with some people Brothers peace treaties and even crate a market system in new technology while building up an Empire.

Hah. When i saw both s4 and a movie announced, I actually laughed out loud. All those mouth breathers who naysaying a full adapt crying in their cereal bowls now. I mean, NOT JUST s4 but a movie on top...... Apparently, they don't understand money. When you have one of the biggest, most popular IPs running......they'll probably make a few more mobile games too.

A lot of the intrigue for me comes in the talking/meetings. I enjoy the intricacies that Rimuru has to deal with when running a country of monsters. And developing technology that will revolutionize the way things are done in this world. The magitrain looks awesome lol.
Yup the world building, the politicking and economy and such I some of my favorite stuff in slime ... is it perfect ... not but it does what it does well and the character are very enjoyable ...

when in reality what makes tensura tensura is the characters there daily lives and the gradual building of tempest

Just like with Ossan Newbie Adventurer now once again with Tensure Naysayers can suck it. Of course it would get another season it was just a matter of when not if, the series is crazy popular and people want more. Tensure focus was never action and fights. While it does have a good amout of the main focus is the world, characters thehir chemistry, intereactions, growth, fall and change. How it all connects and affects one another that Tensura's biggest streght in my opinion.
I don't understand the naysayers... the war council/ political faction meetings add to the story. If all we had we fight scenes with no character development or plot progression this anime would be dead.
I'm kind of confused, I enjoyed both halves of slime. What did people not like about the first half?

The abysmal pacing and lack of visual variation. People liked Season 2 meetings because each felt different and significant, whereas the beginning of S3 felt like one continuous like 2 hour long meeting

I hate the fact in every anime that the haters are very vocal, and the enjoyers are silent. That's why I like your channel since you are one of the few that voice out the that they enjoy an anime series. While other just go for what others tell them it is.
I won't say any spoilers but just a "fyi". So me personally i think books 8,9, and 17 are the most boring books because its just pure talking. So when season 3 started i was worried and yeah, i am not surprised many people think this season was boring. But dont give up dear fans, it will get better i promise.

the exchanging of cultures and another form of training, now that you have the dungeon crawling challenge, opened for
all adventurers to play.
It's getting very interesting indeed.
Its a good season so far, with some episodes good and others not so good.
But it turned out to be a good series so far this season.

Rimurus cold delivery when dealing with the merchants was so satisfying. Also enjoyed it when Diablo and shion were shown that they had zero issues with handling the merchants in their own way.
I hope the moive will be about the bloody shore incident if it is cant wait to be animated

TenSura is one of those series that will have full adaptation. Just like DanMachi, SAO, Overlord, Shield Hero, Mushoku Tensei, Arifureta, and other relics from 2010s era.
It's a shame that they didn't clearly state what happened to the minor merchants afterwards in the anime. After Rimuru leaves them out to dry, Mollie pulls up with a, "I feel bad for you guys, so let me talk to him and see if I can convince him to let you merchants back in." They do sort of allude to this play when you see the two of them smirk at each other during the meeting.
Have you watched the episode? Mjolmire explicitly says that you can get a lot if somebody aproches them later, and, oh, I've already done it and smiles.
That was satisfying and was is was a great world building season with great fights. But like how they develop the characters more and the world it self. The thing with tensura is that you get to see how it affects the world, nations and people of Rimuru actions that in other shows you rarely see. That what I love guess next season is the fight beween Rozzo family easter nation with Yuki most likely being next big bad after that or could be the end game .
I feel bad for Erald. He's caught between two females that he can't really say no to: his boss and his daughter. Doesn't help that Elmesia and Eren are super close like they are sisters. (Possibly even mother & daughter)😂
Told you you were gonna like it lol. Honestly though, I like how they did it in the manga better. Rimuru is sitting on his seat and just deadpan staring at them talking as if without a care while the rest of them are freaking out. You rarely ever seen as much "I am king and 5 steps ahead of you" spirit from him as you did in those panels.
To be fair...90% of American Anime watchers are smooth brained mouth breathers so...MY worry is that we'll never get the whole story ANIMATED because there is a LOT more!!! 😑

Funny how those haters who thought tensura won't get S4 don't even know that Tensura is literally the highest selling LN series and one of the top 15 biggest grossing franchise of Japan. While barely any LN series even comes in top 30.
I was waiting for the new season announcement so that I can write this off but crazily we got 2 in 1 . Not only a new season but also another movie 😂😂.
Btw season 4 will adapt volume 11 also from the LN which is literally one of the peakest volume.

Those meeting bring about perspectives that Rimuru’s team have and to the overall story. Volumes 10-12 are likely going to be in Season 4. Volumes 13-15 (maybe 16 as well) will likely be Season 5.

In the light novel it was made obvious that Rimuru was suspicious of Yuuki(after his first fight with hinata)

All tensura fans are waiting for the great war arc that is gonna happen in future because that arc is peak x 100 . You can think of it equivalent as jjk's Shibuya arc or upcoming ds infinity castle arc or aot rumbling arc.

Spoiler warning, I genuinely like the anime as much as the next guy. I think it did a decent job bringing out tensura, but for me, who read the manga and light novel it skipped too much content to be ignored.
Didn't show the depths of the duke schemes, like how he tried to sneak in some fake coins. Plus, the Duke was the one who invited the reporters, which made the whole thing back firing on him all the more impactful.
It also failed to mention Diablo's bidding friendship with one of the reporters he saved during the Falmuth incident, said reporter had actually warned the him ahead of time, which Diablo found amusing and even thank the man.
Spoiler, that reporter died during a future invasion leaving Diablo enraged at the death of one of the few humans he considered a friend.
I'm sorry, but these little things are part of what made tensura so great to me. Again, I'd like the anime, but I wish it had stayed closer to cannon.

and also start adapting Trinnity in Tempest ... through there they may be waiting for more backlog ... but I would still love to see it get an adaption
other than nation building, they also tackle religion and racism, and economics, its like they are exposing this things to anime fans and maybe get something out of it, how religion controls people minds, how greed politics and economics is, and racism being harsh to others because they are different from you does not mean they do not want what you enjoy also like a peaceful life, competent jobs, but also there those that are really monsters the racism mainly stems from humanoid monsters and monsters with high level of intellect that differ them from the usual monsters, its a good series and hype for the movie and the next season, though the saint arc is kinda bland, hope that the next chapters and rozzos would be somewhat of a little exciting matter

You can really see the blood relation between Elmesia and Eren (they’re cousins) in this episode. Poor Erald, the uncle of the Emperor (he’s younger brother of Elmesia’s father) and he gets no respect for it.

It’s a really good thing for Falmenace that Clayman forced an education on his subordinates in his attempt to seem like a wealthy nobleman especially since before her monsterization and enslavement Mjurran was a witch living an isolated life in the forest. Now at least that education can be put to good use for her new husband and country rather than making Clayman look good.

People need to realize that we aren’t even halfway through the anime yet. I know a lot of people have been disappointed with Season 3 but as a Light Novel reader I always knew it would be nothing more than a set-up for future seasons. Some people have said that some of the meetings could have been cut or trimmed but that would have led to some material from Volume 10 having to be adapted into Season 3 and I think Volumes 10-12 need a season to themselves since there will be so much that needs to be adapted.

The next spin-off to be adapted will probably be “How I spent a Certain Vacation” or at least that’s what spin-off I’d adapt next. It’s something in-between the main series and Slime Diaries with Rimuru, Veldora and Hinata as the main characters.
Rimiru has always been a business man, since entering this world he has been quite entrepreneurial, which is awesome.
He is one of those entrepreneurs who just wants fun but its good to have the Dwarven King to bring him back to reality to remind him his productd can be used in was he never intended
The fun thing about all the tech being introduced is that in reality this stuff was developed for military use and then later funnelled down to the general public, Tensura has flipped that dynamic on its head.
Just after the Rozzo arc is the Empire arc, the most popular arc.

I love this show. Has a mix balance of everything - comedy, drama, action, politics and character growth both main characters and secondary characters.
Those haters are just hating how good this show truly is
You know this was the perfect way of ending his season. Like I still have a grip with them leaving out some important or funny scenes from the novels. But they did it so right.
The scene with the merchants and the noble was perfect. Even if it was smaller and left out the much bigger plan he has. It was done right and it was just so powerful and showed the power of Rimuru.
Then the meeting. Perfect way of setting the stage for the future and bringing new plot points. Like we know what will come and what is continuing.
As well there is the power behind what he is saying. Like Yukki is all but exposed. New treaties, new deals and future events to come. This was done perfectly.
I can't wait for what is coming. And knowing what is coming only makes this more exciting.
Unfortunately, the anime did a terrible job with the first part covering volume 7. The story in the light novel and even the Manga adaptation was really engaging. The anime needed to put more effort into the direction of the meetings and budget into the battles. But volumes 8 & 9 were much much better adapted.
Slime is always gonna get renewed its peak isekai the LNs are really good and consistent...this episode is proof why i love this show Rimuru acting like he forgot all about Yuuki during the founders festival to the wrap up proving he's on top of everything

The Kingdom build is one of the best part of Tensura. The ending with the letter implies that war is coming though so season 4 will probably look like season 2.

As a light novel readerbe there right now. The next season’s gonna focus more on political conflict and action so the festival was more like to come before the storm.
Im sure slime 2nd movie have one piece movie / first movie situation aka non canon story with canon information . Best example scarlet bons movie characters officially canon in s3 cour 2 lol !

In my opinion, I have no issues with meetings but even then had the most filler episodes.

I loved this season personally, truly felt like watching the birth of a new era to me.
This season was basically just doing all the world building thats needed to make the next seasons so good.
They have been teasing us so hard with the introduction of the demoness trio and Zegion/Apito Im genuinely so excited to see them animated this show has some of the coolest character designs and I think as we get the lords of the labiryth animated people will start to appreciate it
I agree with your points but honestly, as a weekly series you come back to each week to see progression, compared to other ongoing action series, it really felt like you wouldn’t have lost out on much had you missed an episode or half baked watched it.
I’m not gonna say that we need eternal fight scenes and saturate when they do fight or their power levels, but I’d still say what we got was not something I was looking forward to each week necessarily, as it’s quite a peaceful and non dramatic part of the story, which also may mean it’s not as engaging because there’s not really any sizeable conflict as it’s the kind of conflict you’d see in a slice of life where it’s revolving around something inconsequential, at least in my opinion.
I’d rate it a 6/10 as a whole, as I guess it did everything it needed to to contextualise and lay a frame work for the following season/films where there will be pay off and conflict which most of the vocal people will want to see. I would just say though that at times it did feel like a spin off series and was the weakest season, and that maybe some things could have been presented differently that would’ve made it more engaging, or if you’re going to have a city building sim, I would’ve thought more topics could’ve been explored considering they’re trying to open themselves up to the world. Maybe this is a 1:1 what happens in the source material and it’s all justified, but maybe in anime application it did just feel a bit slow.
Season 3 may have been the weakest season of slime but it's still good and loved every episode each week.
I dobt think its ppl's fault . Reading vol 7 was easy and watch it was kinda boring ngl , the pacing felt bad . And the fighting was also not that great. Though the festival part was good .
That dude has to know he's going to be taken out when he gets back to his home country. Dude is a literal dead man waking.
I found most of the season felt so much Slime Diaries because this felt more like slice of life with a shonen or flashy adventure with special moves. Besides having read through on the manga this is how it was written so its hard to adapt or move around some of the slower sections because they still have so much of a role in advancing the main plot. One can jump all of that but then the story becomes hard to follow or one has to set up spots elsewhere to do catch up which many would also argue brings down a season. Case in point Season 2 of Shield Hero where that was the main pretext for the way it was adapted and the resulting disappointment. One doesn't win when adapting because one has to fashion but one has to ensure the story is fluid and understandable without jumps and flips. I found both season did that. Which advances us to the next stage of the storyline.

Saw a lot of criticism for the amount of meetings this season. Don’t know what they were expecting since this story was never fully about the fights, the fan service, or the next big boom boom moment. If anything it specializes in world building and world development the most. Though I’ll admit I did tune out during most of the meetings I knew that it was mainly there to set the stage for the next “oh shit” moment. Obviously as the story progresses things will be solved the monkey brain way less and less but I guess some people didn’t get the memo. Anyhoodle, I’m interested to see where that blue slime’s journey will go next. Also was it just me or did Hinata seem cuter this season than in the previous two seasons? 😂

Rimuru has created a mini UN, with mutable countries as shown in this ep, thou only one nation that he allied with, didn't take a seat but then its leader is far older than everyone at that meeting combined, well, maybe aside from the Elf Empress, but these are powerful countries with a lot of political and physical might to back them up
Elmeshia alone has military and economic power compareble to whole council.
