I have a 22’ Grand Cherokee L Limited. I absolutely love it. Perfect for kids, plenty of power, floats on the highway and has a really nice cabin inside loaded with tech. Perfect family vehicle if your pride won’t allow you to drive a minivan
Hey Joshua, I also have the 2022 L Limited, and I also am really liking it. Was watching this video to see if the '23 offered anything new that we were missing out on. Besides the camera mirror and the 360 camera views, it seems exactly like the one I have. Was wondering if you have had any luck or experience with the adaptive cruise control? I have not (yet) figured out how to make use of it.
@@cmarshall2004 yes I’ve used it a few times and had no issues with it. My wife uses it constantly but i almost find myself forgetting about it as it’s the first vehicle I’ve owned with the feature. Overall though I’m really enjoying it. Living in Canada I’m looking forward to see how it performs in the winter.
@@watchmeedostuff5161 you’re welcome! Have had the vehicle for almost a year now and still loving it. No reliability issues at all whatsoever and myself being from Canada, it was a beast in the winter and snow conditions also.
Have a '23 Overland L. It's perfect. Tons of tech, it all works. Ride height adjustment is great for small kids and older adults getting in and out. After a while, the L version looks better than a standard length Grand. Plus, it seats 6 comfortably. Tons of room with that back seats down. My only gripe is the piano black everywhere, scratches easily.
We are currently shopping for an "L". I'd like to see the black appearance package with a black headliner and carbon look on dash instead of wood. We are cross shopping the Durango GT Plus also but leaning towards the Jeep for my wife. Thanks for the review Ben!
I just discovered that the new grand Cherokees come with the rotary shifter.. is there still some sort of auto stick option that can be utilized with the rotary shifter? I like an auto stick option for winter to down shift
Really no worries because they come with paddle shifters which is easier imo. You can engage in sport mode without having to take your eyes off the road.
The 5.7 it’s irreplaceable. However, the 3.6 gets a great fuel economy compared to it. For every day driving it has substantial power and will make you very happy saving 5-6 miles extra per gallon.
Agreed, the v6 3.6 pentastar is a proven engine. Not sure how they will hold up however. There is so much technology in these engines these days. There are so many gauges to improve mileage and efficiency that are activated based on sensors, after a while gauges and sensors jsut wear out.
I got a 2023 L … do all of them have the lighting from the inside I have the option for it on my screen but it’s not working do I have to connect to anything ? Thank you
Small wheel / rolling wheel button to the bottom left of the main steering wheel , turn it all the way up and you will jaw your inside ambient lighting for night drives
I have a 2022 JGK L V6 4X2, and at 75mph on cruise control I averaged 23.6mpgs. Doing exact speed limit around town using cruise control I average 22.2mpgs. Breaks are mushy, but they do work if you need them. Ride is super comfortable like the 22 Honda Ridgeline. Oil and filter change is very easy. Very happy with this SUV, and I'm picky.
It seemed over priced to me. Compared to Japanese competitors and even some European ones, it’s ride, noise, @nd handling seemed sub standard. Not sure how much better the off road performance might be though.
I had one of these as a rental last week. The motor is ANEMIC and it's a shame for that car. It needs the HEMI. Period. They are impossible to find with a V8. FCA/Stellantis really blew it. At low speeds it is fine and quiet enough, but on the highway, it is so loud and totally unrefined. Cant even keep it's own speed in cruise control with a carful of kids and some stuff in the back. It just revs out so loud every thirty seconds. Very unnerving while driving long distance.
@@rosendorendonjr Except it's the one knock all enthusiasts & owners have about it. In a $60,000 suv, give it a hemi. Dodge chargers for $32k have hemi motors in them.

I just purchased a 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee with black appearance package - 3.6L engine - and so far I really like it - awesome vehicle

Then you need to look at the altitude trim
@@luisrios1224 I need an adjustable up/down front passenger seat and the altitude doesn't offer it.
That Pentastar in my opinion is just to little for a vehicle this size. We need the hurricane engine in it!!

Funny I'm currently on a business trip in SLC and I've been looking at Grand Cherokee (specifically Overland and Limited trims) what timing 😂😂

How's the v6?

Got me a 2023 I loveeeeee my Jeep
I have ordered all blocked out package with black color in limited with fully loaded luxury packages! Waiting for the arrival.
How do you like it so far?
Did Jeep borrow the Durango platform and just build a more Jeep brand looking version ??
Yes. Notice the discontinuation of the Durango??
No they did not, actually it's a new lighter frame
5.7 hemi is still an option Overland trim.
Only the 3.6 is available in the Overland trim

Yes, you would have a bench instead of captain seats

Wondering if someone was going to point out the V6 is too weak. Matches what the expert reviewers said. It really needs the Hemi or the Hurricane six.
