5:31 How can the lorry be legally parked in a road with no pavement over a solid white line and near a juntion? and parked to sleep? I'm not used to UK driving code, but that it looks insane.

Solid white line just indicates the edge of the road.
You can't park closer than 10 meters from a junction that includes both sides.
The driver was parked on a public/access road and can be charged for blocking the highway which is illegal unless your a "stop oil protestor" in which case you can with the blessing of the cops.
The driver should of found a better place to rest, just asking for trouble parked up there.

      Single white line parking
Where the road has a solid, unbroken white line running along the side, parking is considered legal. In some cases, the single white line is there to indicate that there's no pavement - if this is the case then it's illegal to park there. Clip 1 has nothing to do with tailgating. The person clearly was just following whats in front without reading the signs.
Clip 2 a car driver hogs the outside lane and a motorbike rider acts like a tit to overtake.
Clip 3 Car driver tried to force their way out in front of oncoming traffic to make their own priority and the oncoming car goes round them.
Clip 4 Muppet on a moped looks like he undertook then wanted to turn left down the wrong way of a one way street.
Clip 5 The learner did have ample time to go a couple of times, but did not go. It looks like not much time passed because some muppet sped the footage up. The gold driver still should've been more patient, but the frustration is more understandable when taking the clip being sped up into account they may have sat there a few minutes but hard to tell. Gold then pulls out into oncoming traffic which was silly. The reg was VO68UUF The last logbook issues was 2019 and it is taxed with mot so The driving instructor is either lying about the vehicle status or incompetent when entering the vehicle details into the DVLA database to check. The instructor says they are "being abused" why you have made yourself into a victim for someone beeping you? They didn't tailgate after and didn't escalate other than to be annoyed that you sat at the junction missing gaps and sped the footage up to hide this. Muppet.
Clip 6 BMW overtaking around a corner with limited view but actually okay to do so due to road markings being broken white lines close together meaning you can overtake, but it's more hazardous to do so. I personally wouldn't have done it, but he was actually allowed to do so even if it seems a silly thing to do. Just to say without the front view approaching the corner, it's difficult to tall how much the car may have seen coming up to the corner.
Clip 7 There is a driver with wood sticking out the window and boot. The rear overhang is not an issu and the front sticking out the window is withing the legal limits also, but the front should be marked up as the rear was. As long as the load is secure though, technically there isn't anything wrong with that even if I wouldn't do it myself. I have a trailer and roof racks for my car. Legally as long as what is sticking out the window doesn't obstruct the drivers view and isn't overhanging more than the legal requirement and is secure, then this is actually fine.
Clip 8 It appears the cammer is pulling over to the side of the road, they move their road position right over to the left and slow considerably. I expect the car behind and van both thought they were pulling over and not proceeding to the junction to turn left. The cammer should've continued in the middle of the lane at a reasonable speed until closer to the junction. Cammer caused the confusion.
Clip 9 The toyota driver is probably not from the local area and may have changed lanes because they were not fully sure. they lacked any indication to show others their intent. Cammer did the right thing holding back a bit until the toyota had committed to the exit of the roundabout. Comment insults toyota drivers for no reall good reason. Seems a bit odd like stereotyping women drivers for instance, but people do weird things.
Clip 10 The comment states they are legally allow to park where they are, but they are in fact wrong. You're just before a junction... The police shouldn't impact a drivers rest time unless the drivr is breaking the law. You are illegally parked, so you could've got them to write you a note explaining why your break was interrupted. They could've given you a fine, points on your licence and had the company vehicle towed. You saying I'm not moving until 11 oclock is also not correct, you can indeed move the truck but would need to restart your break and log why the interruption happened. I expect the police looked and thought 11 oclock is only a short time away and that they couldn't get anyone out to deal with you beforehand. Next time park in a decent location. The comment about 2 police defeated shows you didn't give a shite about anything other than being a tit to the police which is a shame really to have such a mentality when you were in the wrong. Ironic...
Clip 11 two cars meet round a blind narrow corner and both were driving slow enough for nothing to happen and both passed each other safely.

      @christopherrobinson7541 9 місяців тому

Just touching the brake while taking you foot off the accelerator is good practice to indicate to the following driver. I currently drive an old Citroen C5 Estate and very rarely have to slow down using the brakes. it's got a 6 speed box 2.2l with all the sports options from new, including being chipped from 174hp standard to about 204hp. The brakes and the clutch are also uprated. Its good for 150mph, but of course I do not drive that fast. However with that amount of engine braking available I can slow quickers than most cars stamping on the brakes. Gentle left foot braking while easing of the accelerator is the best tactic. Not a brake check, but a polite warning I'm slowing down.
I have had 3 C5 and have clocked up just of 600,000 miles in them, som far about 1.5M in total and no accidents.

Meanwhile there's no road markings other thank road markings on either side that indicate the road for cars splits in two. Maybe Mr Know-It-All should take a second to get his head out of his arse and consider the issue of sh*t-tier road design contributing to this case. Demanding that forcing extremely slow lightrail and fast cars share the same lane will always lead to short following distances, no matter how much you want to scream about it, it'll always happen.
Smart people then redesign the road, foolproof it and never have problems.
Arrogant people with limited driving skill like the guy who added the judgemental commentary will argue the driver wasn't 3 business days behind the slow lightrail and blame the driver.

    • @cigmorfil4101

And maybe the driver of the car which tried to follow the tram should have been more aware of its surroundings, as 11 seconds earlier in the video (0:16) the cammer passes a sign clearly indicating that non-tram traffic would need to bear right, and at the junction itself 2 seconds earlier (0:25) two signs clearly indicating which bit of the road is for trams only, and with the information of the previous sign a driver would be veering to the right, following the chevron marked signs.
Perhaps if drivers got their heads out of their arse and kept proper all round observation of the signs available (much easier if their head is not up the arse of the vehicle in front) they might not be such sh*tty drivers.
