Before 2013 my favorite thing to get at TGI Fridays was their California Club, it came on chebatta bread. Then they changed it to a hard bagette and I didn’t step foot back in for 10 years. Went back this year and the spinach dip was nasty, I ordered the salmon and it was 20 dollars for this tiny piece and Ruby Tuesday gives you a piece double the size for 18.
Speaking of a stinky office, I worked for Vera Wang in Akron, Ohio and all the seamstresses were either East Asian or Eastern European. They loved the microwaves and let me tell you that seafood microwaved is something else.
I can relate. A bad experience can scar you for years. I didn’t (mentally couldn’t) order from Wendy’s for like 10 years after I found a long strand of hair in a Spicy chicken sandwich. Just completely grossed me out from ordering anything.
I live in the Philly metro area. I won't eat a cheesesteak from anywhere more than about 50 miles from the city. And definitely not from chains. Let alone a chain 3000 miles away. lol Here, we just call them cheesesteaks, though. Ha
Love your reactions to these Food Wars videos! I've seen each of the original videos (some multiple times tbh) but it's honestly really fun to watch them again along with you three! :)
I understand what Sophie is saying. When I was 23 I was pregnant with my 2nd child and I loved Wheat Thins, but during my pregnancy one day I ate some Wheat Thins and felt SO nauseous. From that day on I could not eat Wheat Thins. I'm 55 and I can still not eat Wheat Thins. UK wings are big cause they don't separate the wing (wing & little drum are kept together) in America they are separated.
I had never heard of Nando’s but apparently they have been in the USA since 2008. It looks like they are only in the DC area, Chicago area, and 3 locations in Texas.
Ribs in the US have aloooooot of meat on them sometimes if you go to a good restaurant, Fridays ribs are ok but not where id go for them if you want meaty, real ribs (go to a professional bbq establishment) and you should be able to ask for sauce on the side instead
Strange that several UK exclusives are US based or named like Texas steak, New York cheesecake, California and Louisiana sandwiches, and Cajun seasoning
Wow! I can't believe the ingredients. Not my favorite place. I prefer Applebee's. Aidan and Sophie, vegetable burgers are really good. I had to work at trying it because my reaction was like yours at the idea, but it was good. Gaynor, I am right there with you at the idea of the Margaritas. They are so good. Unfortunately, my kidneys have told me no more. So, you'll have to enjoy them for me. I so enjoy watching you react to these videos. Peace
Maybe you had a touch of stomach flu and that's what made you throw up instead of food poisoning You'd rarely find a hotdog on the menu at a sit down restaurant unless it was on the children's menu
You guys haven’t had ribs until you’ve been to a old fashioned US cook out during the summer time.. family style. (I don’t eat pork anymore but boy do I miss ribs)
Him going by the nutritional info from the store bought frozenTGIFridays items most likely is not the same as what they have in the restaurant. Most chain restaurants just allow a random frozen food processor to use their name on products to sell more. There was a case not long ago where someone wanted to sue TGIFridays and the company that actually makes and packages the product because the mozzarella sticks contained no real mozzarella, and the ones in the restaurant do. I don't remember how it turned out but it should be easy to find online to get all the facts
Sophie same thing happened to me but with but with baked beans. That's why I couldn't eat beans on toast the thought of it makes me sick. Also we have big communities of people from all over Africa in America. I used to live in a area that had alot of Ethiopians and they have restaurants and stores from their culture people keep forgetting how diverse America is. Just cause were not close to Africa dont mean we dont have Africans here.
One thing I've noticed watching all your videos...Aiden constantly shakes physically...it's just something I don't see around me so it's noticeable that's all
"Boneless' wings are a scam. They are not boneless wings, they are nuggets of breast meat. Why is this a big deal? Chicken wings are now the most expensive part of the chicken. Chicken breast is significantly cheaper yet the "boneless wings" are sold at the same price as real wings. An order of boneless chicken breast nuggets (boneless wings) should be about half the price of a similar order of actual wings. Vegie burgers are made from soybeans. Soybeans are VERY high in estrogen. Estrogen is extremely unhealthy for men as it destroys the prostate.
Unfortunately Sophie’s never had ribs in the States, so she doesn’t know what she doesn’t know. The American guy on this Food Wars channel cracks me up. He’s an honorary Gen Xer in my book. Way sarcastic. 😎
"Why not get boneless chicken?" Boneless chicken is the equivalent on a chicken. Chickens don't have individual ribs, they're fused into a plate with the breast meat on top. When you eat boneless chicken wings, that's essentially chicken rib meat.
The amount of sodium used in our country is crazy. So many people worry about calories in the US, but the crazy amounts of sodium used as preservatives in most of our food is what puts people in an early grave.
Aside from the parm pasta and the Chinese chicken wrap, the UK food actually had more sodium on a lot of their dishes. So it's not just here that's dosing up on the salt. 🧂 🧂 🧂
Man, Aiden was ready to throw hands about that Frank's Redhot sauce 😂😂😂
😂🤣😭
Bro got to explain your slang. Throwing hands means to fight. 😂
TgIF feels like hangover food eaten before you get the hangover.
Frank's Red Hot sauce is the hot sauce originally used in the sport's bar in Buffalo NY that actually created the Buffalo wing.
Yep. And it's still the go-to for making a true Buffalo sauce.
Sophie's face when she mentioned "Veggie Burger" laughed and looked into the camera at us all 😂👏 loved it

17:57 Anyone else finish Aiden’s sentence? “I love Frank’s Red Hot-“ “…I put that shit on everything.”
Ganor disparaging her own soup killed me.
Lovin your reactions guys, always looking forward to your next one.
The Samples used to be my go to when I used to eat Fridays when I was younger.
Don’t do there anymore lol

SAME!!
LOL G whipping up a batch of soup in her office is so funny to me
Really enjoy your reactions! Look forward to more. ❤
I love TGI Fridays. I have gone there for years. I even went to one in Beijing, China. It was just as good!
Why eat Ribs Sophie?? BECAUSE THEY TASTE SO GOOD!😀😅
I have to disagree with folks that dont like something but never tried it before lol

No chicken...Office Bloke Mike must have cleared out the place before you got there Aidan.

Chili's gave me some giant ones before
I found TGI Fridays in the early 70's in the U.S.. Top notch food then. Today I will not even open their door - nothing in there is worth eating.
Many restaurants have gone downhill these days and I have no idea why. Restaurants have also raised prices and lowered portion sizes here.
Food supply got cut short during the pandemic, and they all resorted to buying produce/meat from sketchy cheap vendors
@@HoneyKrisp69 That explains it.
There are actually very few chain restaurants that have hotdogs unless they specialize.
There's no such thing as boneless wings. You either get traditional wings or chicken nuggets.
He said sweet potatoes fries with blue cheese 😂😂 hell nah
Strange that several UK exclusives are US based or named like Texas steak, New York cheesecake, California and Louisiana sandwiches, and Cajun seasoning
Messy food is great food my dear. I remember brownie obsession that was fantastic.

I havent had tgif's except from the frozen section at the supermarket
TGI Friday is available in the freezer section of the grocery store.
I love Nandos wish I had one near me. They are some in other larger cities.
Doesn't it disturb you guys that the UK restaurants never disclose their ingredients or nutrition info?
Ribs are so delicious you have to try them your mind would change
We win because we know food! Good reaction!
I have never in my life heard of this place
Maybe you had a touch of stomach flu and that's what made you throw up instead of food poisoning
You'd rarely find a hotdog on the menu at a sit down restaurant unless it was on the children's menu
Tell me more about Avocado Hummus.
They use To be good, but they closed them down here in oregon yrs ago
You guys haven’t had ribs until you’ve been to a old fashioned US cook out during the summer time.. family style. (I don’t eat pork anymore but boy do I miss ribs)
11:51 what kinda onion ring is that?! 😭
Cheese sticks and potatoe skins are great
There r maybe 3 TGI Fridays in all of Florida they mostly closed
I never understand why it’s not common to understand, sit down restaurants have larger portions to allow you to take food home.
You won’t find hot dogs in most sit down restaurants. Mostly fast food chains.
I hope they don’t show nachos. Sophie will start dry heaving like Daz does 😂
Sophie you're missing out. Nothing better than pork ribs slow cooked. I ate a whole rack last night for dinner and still want more
The UK Friday's labeling looks like it's from KFC, the red/white strips.

I just now ate a cheeseburger but now I want chicken wings

I've never been to a t.g.i. Fridays
RIBS!!!! I smoke my own at home all summer long! 😋
I'm shocked the Chinese chicken wrap has so much bad, it's chicken, lettuce, grated carrots... all sorts of salad stuff
Aiden is his fathers son. 😂
Frank's is a staple for me.
Is TGI Fridays super overpriced in the UK too? Lol
Can yall react to ice spice ft Nicki Princess Diana
I’m pretty sure the UK wins the Nando’s one (esp. since only a few states even have a Nando’s), so maybe watch that one next? 😂
They make a good Margarita and Long Island Ice Tea. But the show would have imploded if they included it in the review.
I'm confused.. is Sophie the daughter of Gaynor and Daz? How is Sophie related to the family?
Watch getting to know us back in January
No, sodium is not salt, Salt is NaCl which is Sodium Chloride. Sodium is a metal and Chlorine is a gas.
the brits understand ribs about as well as they understand spices
One thing I've noticed watching all your videos...Aiden constantly shakes physically...it's just something I don't see around me so it's noticeable that's all
We dont have nandos on the east coast
Boyo lives up to every English stereotype. He hates everything. The epitome of " high maintenance" .
You are not eating the right ribs if you are getting more bone than meat. Real BBQ the ribs will be huge with tons of meat on them.

Poor Sophie. She is gonna be known as the lonely cat lady.
No way ! Sophie's got it going on... She's good looking, she's smart, She has a good personality....She's a good catch.

TGI Fridays is no good anymore...Chili's is wayyyyy better
Is gaynor single
I don’t think any American love TGI Fridays. People eat there because it’s close to the mall and we don’t want to move about car to go somewhere else
Second
Sophie is to fine
