I’m the US you not only have to disclose your ingredients, you also have to disclose the ingredients in the ingredients. That’s why there are brackets all over the place.
Well, they broke the sandwich down into Components of said sandwich, and analyze the ingredients of each component individually. Not really ingredients of ingredients, because then we'd be well into molecular structure. Here, they broke the meatball sub into three components, the meatballs, the bread, and the cheese, with ingredients for each listed.
@@rukus9585 Actually not just the vegetables or bread or cheese, but ingredients that are added. Like for example if you add anything to the ground (minced) beef to make the meatball like spices, breading, binding ingredient, additives. By U.S. federal law u must disclose what ingredients are in each spice, breading, binding ingredient, additive. Like you can't just say food coloring number 5. U must disclose what is in food coloring number 5.
The reason for the same ingredients listed is because they’re listing the ingredients of the entire sandwich separately. Like the bread, the meatballs, the cheese, the spices used. It’s just a breakdown of all of it.
We have/eat curry in the States, it's just not as nationally/culturally significant as it is in the UK. Also Oil and Vinegar with Oregano or Italian Seasoning is an amazing combo on an Italian BMT.
Try this Subway sandwich: Steak and pepperoni on Italian Herbs & Cheese bread, pepper jack cheese, mayonnaise, baby spinach leaf, jalapeños, and banana peppers. It works.
They say salt 3 times because, if you pay attention to the brackets, there is salt in: the breadcrumbs (in the enriched wheat flour), the seasoning, and the Romano cheese. It lists these 3 separately.
The Subway Party Platter have it be Subs or Cookies it's mainly for Birthday, Sport, or Social Parties and sometimes for treating Office employees to a Good Job Lunch or for a good bit of Employees having to pull a all Nighter at work
In the office I worked at, Subway would do basic sandwiches with meat and cheese and then they'd send tubs of all of the fixin's, so we could build our own subs. And yes, I'm in PA so there were the wee containers of vinegar and oil with herbs. Someone mentioned a Jewish deli for getting good sandwiches and I can't disagree with that but we have an Italian deli here in my town and their sandwiches are to DIE for. And you get great value for your money. They use large bread loaves they bake in house and pack those sandwiches FULL. Plus you get freshly made potato chips and your choice of a side, either coleslaw, broccoli salad, pasta salad, tortellini salad or tapioca pudding. $13.99. My husband get one sandwich and split it, or we get our sandwiches at lunch time and eat the other half at dinner.

I love both Avocado and Banana peppers on my subs. And oil on an Italian sub is nice. What they sprinkle on the sub after the oil is normally Italian spices like Oregano and such.
That 3 foot sub is short. Most party subs are 6 feet long or longer from delis. They are popular for the superbowl parties. You can get one half of the sub as one sub and another for the other half. Normally one half is Italian and the other is American. The Italian deli near my old home on Long Island in NY would sell a 6 to 8 foot sub for $60. The sub would be cut into like 20 pieces.
