His creation trapped into delusion. The cross.. God into the hands of angry sinners. Jesus submitted to man in order to bring the Father's love into the darkness of our souls. Thank you Baxter 💖
I’ve used Across All Worlds: Jesus Inside Our Darkness for a number of years as a required text in my annual undergraduate Christian Spiritual Formation course. It is simple to read, with many profound insights. In fact , just today, I gave the book to a dear colleague who is retiring. Thank you, Dr. Kruger, for your many years of bearing the burden of this message. Your words have made a lasting influence for good in the lives of many hundreds of students.
2Co 4:6 LOGOS Because it is God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who shined in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
It’s pretty amazing to watch this video and witness a man, perhaps nearer the end of life’s journey/pilgrimage than the beginning, who well and truly sees the wood for the trees; knows Christ as an old friend. Thank you Baxter, sir 🫡
@@jcismyall do you think the Puritans are unhealthy to listen to they seem legalistic and motivated by fear and 2 Corinthians 5 someone please biblically go through some of these things is God angry
I really like a lot of what you're saying. Is that the church fathers set on the top of your library on the left? Many of the things you are saying remind me of St. Athanasius's On the Incarnation.
Your friend is a bit of a joker to saythe least. No, it is certainly not true. Rather than me answer you here, it would be more beneficial for you to watch some of the other videos on this channel.
NEVER! As the Father said to Jesus at his baptism; "This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased." We are in Jesus, the Father, & Holy Spirit, & they are in us, so that remark of the Father is to us also. (Michael)
Increible teaching
I have the honor to meet him yrs ago

"I take your betrayal and turn it into your adoption." Sweet Jesus, that is so good!
It's beautiful isn't it.

A cohort of 1000 Roman soldiers when Jesus was arrested in the garden? Where did this information come from? Not John 18!
Great video! A friend told me that Jesus didn't die for man's sin, but he was killed because he didn't pay his taxes. Could this be true?
