I think niall was kinda lost in one direction, the other guys got more song time , media attention, but niall a true musician found himself ( and matured hugely) with great confidence once he started to believe in himself and his taw talent, a talent which can fill stadium, writing his own music, niall be around for a long time.

I was a Police Officer for over 23 years. In 2022 I had a widow maker heart attack. I had to be brought back three times. I was medically retired. When I heard this song for the first time after I sat and cried like a baby. I loved what I did and poured my heart into it. When they sing “Mama take this badge from me I can't use it anymore It's getting dark too dark to see Feels like I'm knocking on Heaven's door “ just hits harder.

My Dad was a Police Officer for 15 years and then a detective for another 6 years after that. He wasn’t ready to retire either. I don’t know if your medical retirement would allow this (so just an idea or something you could look into) but my dad picked up a part time job that kept his LEO blood still pulsing, by transporting inmates to court and back. I lost him 1 year ago and now I have his retired badge and service weapon 😞. Please take care of yourself and know within your heart of hearts *you made a difference and there’re people out there still thinking of you and thanking you for saving their lives* and I humbly thank you for your dedication and service, as well sir 💙

Lacked the soul and solemnity of the original. It's not a song for smiling or oversinging. Not quite as bad as En Vogue's shiny happy a cappella version of 'Yesterday', but not great.
This was such a perfect song choice for both Huntley and Niall and both of them did a fantastic job with it. Their harmonies were so beautiful and equally matched.
This was the best duet of the night...not only was it the best contestant/coach performance, but it outshined all the "Guest" performances too. Huntley was not my personal choice to win but all of the top five were deserving of the win.
I only watched the show that season up til Huntley.. First note in and I knew the winner. Even without hearing the others. Then I saw this night and omgosh the notes Niall was hitting and his runs and range. Beautiful! Thank God we have ways to shine!

Huntley deserved to win. I'm shocked a voice of that caliber didn't know it and at thirty-three had never played on a big stage. Ruby is equally talented and at 16 she is just getting started and will have no problem getting a record deal.
