Elvis did over 30 movies and was the highest paid actor of the time.
Lol that's exactly what I was going to say
1st one to get million dollars a movie
He was so funny 😂🎉
Me to
Did you know he was an Army vet? He served two years in the military at the height of his fame. Thank you for your service, Elvis!
Elvis did 31 movies. And was the highest paid actor at that time. Every one of his movies was a Hugh hit
For your information Elvis was a singer, actor, guitarist, pianist, dancer and a Rock n roll idol. He has acted in 32 hollywood movies and sold more the 1 billion music copies to this day. He was a karate black belt and use to perform his own stunts in his films. He served 2 years in the Army.
That smile ... that laugh ... so special !
He had a great sense of humour
I love seeing elvis his natural self
If you ask a person what they might want in another person, he or she might say, warmth, charisma, kindness, love of people, humor, generosity, good manners, respect, humility, gentleness and many other qualities. You get the idea. You see, Elvis had them all, plus talent and good looks. That's why almost 45 years after he died, he's still loved around the world. That's why we are watching your reactions decades later. To see it for the first time in your eyes, you feeling the feelings, as if it was for the first time for us again. Ty
This was the real Elvis your watching 👍, He did 31 movies from 1956-1969👍
Elvis was a Real Person and whole lot more. A Pure Hunk of a Man. Oh, yeah...
Elvis had the BEST smile!!
I love everything about Elvis. thank you
A lesson in talent right there
If you haven't watched the interview with Elvis's childhood friend Sam Bell you really should. I think you would really get to see who he was, where he came from and the love he was given. Also watch Elvis and the black community. It continues to show you his struggles, the love he gave and received. Get to really know him as a person.
There’s cameras there for this because they were recording for a movie called That’s The Way It Is. It recorded Elvis rehearsing and then the first few concerts of his second stint in Vegas. His first live performances, other than The 68 Special, since he got out of the Army.
Whaaat! Elvis was in SOOOOO many movies!! He also played and loved football !
Oh my goodness how incredibly handsome was he and that smile💕💕
Elvis loved life.
Elvis was a great actor 😊
His smile was gorgeous
I almost fell off my chair when you said ELVIS should of been n movies, i was born in 1969 and grew up with Elvis films, our parents loved him so much that we we're allowed to stay home from school when his movies came on 11am every morning every Spring and when he died my mum let me stay home for 30 days while his movies we're put on every day to show respect and memorialise him 💯💯😂happy your getting to know ELVIS he started it all 💯💯💯🙏
I am so enjoying your journey learning about Elvis and all his facets. It is really making me feel quite nostalgic and to see it fresh through your eyes again takes me back. Elvis was known to love goofing around so yes a gorgeous charismatic star who was also a lovable goofball :)
Was Elvis in the movies?...man,at his peak,Elvis was the movies..
Elvis made a lot of movies and he got fed up with them and went back to singing again.
Elvis was everyone's light and too bad everyone wanted to paint him in a bad light towards the end!!
Love your reaction to this. Elvis was funny and always being himself. It's good to see him smile. They at rehearsals and having fun.
He was in more than 30 movie's the highest paid actor back then 👍🐐
Love when he's being funny. He was in 31 movies.. so glad you've kept going down the rabbit hole. Thus was a movie MGM made for his Vegas shows. Its rehearsals for the shows. You've reacted to some of them.
Elvis left live performing around 1960 when he went into movies. When his movie contract expired he wanted to get back to live performances. That is what led to the 1968 Comeback Special. He missed being in front of people live.
He loved his group. He did 31 movies, but he wanted to be amongst his fans. One night he was singing and he improvised and he said "you gaze in the mirror and you are bald and the guy down front his wig fell off and Elvis lost it.
Yes, ELVIS was so funny and special! This man is from another Galaxy! I loooooove everthing about him! Thank you! Great reaction!
Enjoy watching with you soooo much...
Thank You!!!❤️🫶🏼
Elvis made movies from 1960 to 1967. Believe there were 32 total movies. That is why the 1968 special was his comeback because he hadn't done live performance since he went into the army.
Glad you enjoyed learning about Elvis my friend.
I love watching this video and your reaction! You are awesome! You get it, you get it!! 👍👏 Please react to Elvis singing "Polk salad Annie" live in Las Vegas 1970. Another brilliant performance by The Man! 👍🤗
Elvis did 31 movies. He was the ultimate entertainer. That one area where he jerked back with the guitar, he got shocked and said son of b….!
His friends &family said he was extremely funny and loved to laugh and have a good time. It probably kept him sane on that schedule he had. He had some work ethic. Reason for camera being there was they were filming a documentary called Thats the Way it is( TTWII) in 1970 & then it was updated in 2002 or so. 2020 was the 50 yr Anniversary of it & they were showing it on the big screen until Covid broke out & theaters closed. It’s a shame because parts of Europe got to see it & then they went back into lockdown & it was never shown again. It is out on DVD our streaming if you ever want to see it. ❤ once again,I thank you for doing Elvis. I believe I left you a few suggestions on previous comment boards, so I hope eventually you can get to them. Good bless. 🙏🏼🙏🏼❤😮
Elvis got the make some playtime because he stays on tour a lot so he needs to have a little fun☺️
This is footage from the concert movie That’s the way it is
Elvis made a lot of movies. lol.🥰
If it's Elvis, I like it. (Love it.)
Not only was he a decent actor. For comedic roles, he was spectacular because he was a naturally funny, funny cat. 🥃👌
I believe this footage is from his documentary " Elvis : That's the way it is " . He really enjoyed joking around 🙂
most of these were from the documentary called 'This is Elvis." These scenes were rehearsals, not performance.
These outtakes are from a doco film MGM did called "Elvis: That's The Way It Is" about his return to the stage and live performance in Vegas. This is a great 🎥
Something that really defines his personality for me is there was this one time when he ran into some other rock 'n roll legends-Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Carl Perkins-and chatted for like a half hour (They recorded the audio). Since none of it was rehearsed, the only song that really came out of this was them singing Just A Little Talk With Jesus. But they sang parts of lots of other songs, mainly gospel songs they knew from church. Johnny Cash was nice and loved them all but I guess he was a quiet guy because he was just sitting there, chilling. So Elvis specifically invited him to sing one of the songs, to make him feel included. That was really nice of him.
Elvis had a badge and one of those sirens you put on top of your car. While driving around he would randomly pull people over flash his badge and people were so confused to be pulled over by Elvis. He would say now I have to write you up and he would hand them his autograph. This was told by Pricilla and his Memphis Mafia.
I've mentioned it before, but if you check out his Heartbreak hotel 1968 comeback special sit down performance, you see a mix of this side of Elvis and his talent 😊 there is a 4k version of it.
It was so fun to watch the content that you were able to find about Elvis. I've always been fascinated by him. Like you I always saw him kind of like a superstar and not the personal side of him. Thank you for sharing these
Have you watched him sing Peace in The Valley in Ed Sullivan Show in 1956....".Elvis Presley’s “Peace in the Valley”…
Presley’s rendition marked a significant and changing event in history. It was when he performed “Peace in the Valley” on the Ed Sullivan Show in 1957. It made history since Presley helped 250,000 refugees fleeing Hungary. He dedicated his performance to the refugees. The total amount of earnings of US$49.5 million were distributed to the families in Vienna and London."
Thanks for reacting to this- he was hilarious and playing jokes. Elvis...A Generous Heart and King of Kindness, please so u can see more of who Elvis was. Thank u
Oh, Are You Lonesome Tonight Cant Stop Laughing Version
I am a huge fan of Elvis. I find amusing of a song by Ray Stevens called I saw Elvis in a ufo. No disrespect to Elvis fans who believe he is still living or think he is Pastor Bob Joyce.
Yes.
Elvis did a total of 31 movies.
His first 4 were in the late 50s when he first broke big w/ his music.
The other 27 movies he did were between 1960 and 1970.
He did 3 movies a year for almost a decade.
Highly recommend King Creole and Jailhouse Rock.
They were his 3rd and 4th movie and considered to be his best.
I loved Elvis in Flaming Star!
@@lechat8533 I love all his cowboy movies. He was robbed of his chance to be a serious actor. He would have
nailed that too!
@@tracythomas8061
Yes, I agree.
It really is a pity that he didn`t get to play more demanding roles.
Could u react to the king of kindness video about elvis giving millions away.
These clips are from the 1970 documentary film ELVIS THAT'S THE WAY IT IS
ELVIS HAS 31 MOVIES! YOU SHOULD WATCH THEM WITH US AND, REACT TO THEM!
I just heard u say something that was so perfect... you said he's a performer.. so true... he could sing through anything and still make it fun.. laugh at himself. make everyone enjoy his performance. And even though I'm alot older than u... I'm seeing these clips for my first time.I love it
Nobody ever talks about his Military Service!!
31 movies and 2 documentaries.
Elvis was in a lot of movies at one time he put his singing career on hold to do movies at least 20 or 30 of them
Elvis was a twin! He passed at birth I believe!
Elvis was a great actor. May e check out the song Mean Woman Blues from his movie loving you. It is nice to see Elvis just being Elvis. Another fun reaction thank you.
This messing about was all done mainly during rehearsals for a cineama release Documentary/film called Elvis That's the way it is leading up to his Vegas appearance show where many celebs from showbiz turned up & they actually show them going in & sitting at the tables.
Before hitting play, THANK YOU
You need to get to Graceland! It will blow your mind!
Elvis birthday is january 8. good day to do some more elvis reactions
I am so glad you ended up watching this. It truly gives a little insight to who he was. He did not take himself seriously and there a lots more of these kind of moments to see. He was a person with all that entails and it's great you have gotten to see a little of that person.
If you would want to watch a song from a movie, I would check out the movie scene and song Trouble from 1957, in the movie King Creole ☺️ king Creole was Elvis’ favorite movie he was in.
"How did he hit the not while laughing" I once heard an interview with a famous singer (maybe chubby checker) who explained there are 2 types of singers, singers like me who have to work to sing and sound good and then there was elvis who opened his mouth and music was made. Effortless.
He was in a lot of movies
People always knew he'd be so big that they'd have to record him for his historical value. Even in 1954, when he had his first hit, they were already *professionally* recording his concerts (audio only). There's even video of most of a concert he did in Tupelo in 1956.
And that`s why it`s so annoying that there is no footage of him and the Beatles on their visit to Graceland. Not even one photo.
That's hilarious. As a musician let me point a couple things out. There are at least two points in that video where he gets shocked by a microphone. It's not as bad today although it's happened to me several times in the band I play in because we play just regionally on not state of the art equipment in venues that don't have the absolute best electrical systems. Plus just in those days, all these two amps and the PA system and everything they can all end up on different ground Loops they call it or different voltage levels and when you're playing an electric guitar and your fingers are on the strings and put your mouth up to the microphone which is on a different loop, there can be a difference and you can get shocked really bad. And so that was a couple of those things in there. And then that one where he's just kind of kicking his legs up and the band is doing it it's because as you see in his live shows, he directs the band but there they were just playing around and he took it to the height of ridiculousness. Just being a nut ball and he just kept throwing his leg out and just seeing what people would do and they had a good time. There was that point in there where he yodled. Until I saw this about a year ago I had no idea that he could yodel. Turns out he's absolutely incredible at it. I never knew Elvis could yodel. And to my knowledge he's never done it in a recorded song or any live performance I've seen other than these outtakes from rehearsals. And just tons more stuff like this.
Remember he spent 2 years 1958 - 60 Stationed In Germany while he was in the Army and they Yodel in Germany so that's where he learned it.
@@WoodsWoman822 Wow. I never made that connection before! That makes total sense. And he's gifted enough is a vocalist that he would pick up on it plus he was around country music growing up it's just that he never Incorporated that I know of anyway. But man he was good at it man
He was a goofball for sure lol
Smiled from the beginning to the end ❣️❣️❣️
#KingElvis
So happy u did this one too!! great reaction love watching him behind scenes! I laugh every single time when I watch this funny moments video just as hard as I did the first time lol ! You're awesome!
React to elvis presley live in las Vegas. suspicious minds
Yes, he wasn't just a great musician, a humanitarian, but a self trained actor and comedian. ;) There is another documentary about him after this one...he gets a little more raunchy or just reading about him and the things he said. He wasn't perfect (especially later with the drugs) but he was down to earth and as human as the rest of us- anothet one of his appeals.
This is legendary!❤️
Yes, Elvis liked to have fun . He was a prankster,a practical joke man ,Priscilla his exwife Said so .
If youtube see some of the home movies you can see that .
Its from the Documentary” That’s the way it is ” from 1970. I had the whole thing on video … not much good now… I have seen you can still buy it on Dvd. But the prices are ridicilous. I don’t think hot can see it in its entirity here on youtube, due to copy rights.
ELVIS is a man A good MAN (but i love hem)
Yes he stares in 31 movies
One of my favorite movie he was in was king creole that was also elvis favorite movie
He was in a lot of movies.

" KING CREOLE " WAS ELVIS' FAVORITE MOVIE OUT OF THE 31 THAT HE DID, AFTER HIS MOTHER PASSED AWAY, HIS FAVORITE BECAME " LOVING YOU " BECAUSE HIS MOTHER AND, FATHER WAS IN IT AS EXTRAS AND, HE COULD SEE HIS MOM ALIVE!
Hi Pzo.. please show videos of Elvis movies, he sang too. Some great songs. Please react to "G.I. Blues", from the movie GI Blues. Awesome video to watch.... 👍🤗🎸
Never seen this one b4.. nice
You really need to see him do Trouble from the movie King Creole and Bossa Nova Baby from Fun in Acapulco. They are amazing performances.
Hey man, I love your reactions, I love Elvis and appreciate you giving him a chance. If you can would you react to a real banger, "Steamroller Blues" and drink in the band to. They are fabulous. This is from 1973 Hawaii show. I appreciate you. Be blessed. I already subbed.
I have almost all his movies
yo you should watch him singing Heartbreak Hotel at the 68 comeback special, the one where he's sitting down
hes basically just goofing off the whole time
Smooth lol
Omg here in Tasmania Australia there is an Elvis movie on right now 5.19pm on 9 gem the 13th of November 😄😄😃🇦🇺 spooky 👍. Ps the movie is follow that dream ⭐️😃.
Please listen to can't help falling in love by Diana Ankudinova she is amazing and beautiful young lady with a contralto voice
Did you react to his 1957 performance of Jailhouse Rock, from the movie Jailhouse Rock? How about Bossa Nova Baby, or Mean Woman Blues, or to his singing and dancing scene of If Your Lookin for Trouble, from his movie King Creole. These are 4 song and dance numbers scenes from his movies. He did 31 movies in the 50s and 60s, and there are lots of song and dance scenes in his movies.
I love Rubbernecking from his last movie, Change of Habit
I love all your suggestions! Would be so fun to see the reaction to all of them.
All this footage and all the live performance that we now get to watch on UA-cam is from 2 awesome documentaries that is a must to sit down and watch when you have some time to do so. This is Elvis and also Elvis:That’s The Way It Is. It was a brilliant idea back then to have his life documented just as if they knew back then that those movie/documentaries would forever live on with little snippets on UA-cam. And as others have said, he was had numerous movies which I never became a huge fan of. Some were cheesy and some were ok. He had a few good songs come from them. From what I heard that I can remember, he felt trapped by contracts for the movies and wanted to get back to performing on stage because he felt like his career was suffering, and that’s how that comeback special came about. His movie career also had him costarring with many Hollywood females and that started rumors ,which some were true ,that he cheated on Priscilla
So many movies from Love me tender to Flaming Star
Several movies
Las Vegas live version of Polk salad Annie
He was in dozens of movies! Love Me Tender, Blue Hawaii, Kissin' Cousins and many many more!
Elvis loved his whole life with a camera in his face. I’m glad for us but it ruined any privacy he ever could have had. We loved him to death.
Polk salad Annie vegas live 1970 by Elvis
Check out his song 'Trouble' from on of his best films 'King Creole'👍
