3) healthcare-my 71 year old dad gets cancer treatment at Duke for lung 🫁 cancer.
4) culture of the area
5) sports 🏀-Carolina Hurricanes 🌀 and abundance of college sports 🏈
6) climate- changing of seasons and mild weather.
7) Green space -greenway trails, parks, going out walking 🚶, playgrounds, museums.
8) locations to mountains 🏔️ and the coast and driving distance to big cities 🏙️
9) commute time -60 nonstop destinations around the world 🌎 at RDU.
I will definitely be more grateful 🥲 for my life and where I live after watching this video!

One thing I've always been curious about with Raleigh's climate compared to the north - when do the leaves start changing in the fall and when do things start greening up again?

Every year is slightly different depending on weather patterns, but generally, they start changing in early to mid-October and are totally done around mid-November! In the spring, different types of trees become green sooner than others. The earlier of the bunch is usually around March and everything is full green by late April including the blossoming trees! Thankfully in winter we at least get some evergreen with the heavy pine tree volume but summer is when it really shines!
