      Flyin' Ryan RC I'm sorry if I offended you. That was not my intention and I'm certain I could have made that comment with out being rude. I do appreciate the hard work you put into making your videos. But sometimes I want to just the item being used and I'm sure others feel the same. Keep up the hard work.

    Nice overview Ryan, I wanted to see what you thought of it? I thinks it's really a cool inventive R/C the amphibious feature is unlike anything I've seen. I just wish the runtime was longer and the control was a little more precise like the Hypertrax. thumbs up!!

      I blocked that Alain troll, so I can't see what he's saying to you, or why UA-cam even allowed him to comment on your post. He was saying that I need to "review better items", because he's obviously too dense to understand the point of a reviewer. There is just no helping some people. And, of course, he called ME the rude one when I explained to him why his comment was stupid. He also said "your [sic] so ignorent [sic]", so that really tells me a lot about his level of intelligence. heh

      I can't recall now if the controls are proportional or not. And I'm not sure if they are still manufacturing this vehicle, but I'd imagine you should still be able to find it in stores, or at least online.

    Who said reviewing RC stuff was a clean job? :D
    Regarding self-righting while on land, perhaps you can use the "transform" function as a lever? I've seen BattleBots doing it, but maybe in this case the motor wouldn't have enough torque to lift and flip the weight of the whole vehicle.

    • @theimacman
      @theimacman  7 років тому +1

      Haha yeah, gotta get down and dirty sometimes. :) And, the transform button doesn't work at all on land, actually. Not really sure how that works. Don't know if it's some sort of sensor, or just the physics of it, or what. But it will only move those platforms when in water.

    • @theimacman
      @theimacman  7 років тому

      Yeah, I kinda wondered that too! Maybe it has TOO much grip that way, and makes the tank want to submerge? Or maybe they just had to sacrifice that to help it with a bit better grip on dry ground.

      Thanks! And, no, sorry, I don't think I'll be reviewing the B version. I reviewed the A959, which is similar enough that I just don't think it would be worth my time and money to review the B version. You can get an idea of what to expect from my A959 review, but just keep in mind that it's faster, so that means shorter run times, and more possibility of broken parts.

      @theimacman  7 років тому

      Yeah, I will be doing my best to get their Star Wars quads too. But, they are not allowed to sell them in the US, so I will likely have to pay a bit more to get them from Europe somehow. They look great though!

      I instantly thought of epoxy gluing an FPV camera onto the top of it. But getting it working with those folding parts would be tricky and getting at the power supply would be even more tricky.
      Making sure the whole thing stays watertight after would be the REAL challenge though, since I would want a wet lipo even less than a drenched camera... =p

    great toy but rubbish battery life , 90 minutes to charge, 5 to 6 minutes play time , will not turn and go forward at same time after 3 minutes use 😠

    Takes 90min to charge for less than 5 minutes operating time. Avoid!
