One of the greatest venues for concerts, Oakland Athletics, and Raiders games
I had the original reel-to-reel tape of this concert, which I obtained from the source in 1977. Unfortunately it was destroyed in Hurricane Sandy in 2012. But I made several cassette copies before that happened. I still haven't figured out whether it's a soundboard tape or a high quality audience recording.
I was at the "Animals/Wish You Are Here" tour at Stafford New Bingley Hall, which was an amazing gig, but unfortunately the bootlegs are so poorly recorded they just don't do it justice. A great pity that Pink Floyd never thought to properly film one of the gigs from that tour.
You can tell whoever recorded this is right in front of one of the quad speakers, especially during the quiet guitar solo section. I recorded a Kraftwerk gig on the "Computer Love" tour, from right in front of one side of the PA, and whilst the sound is as clear as you could expect from an audience tape, the stereo effects fade in and out like crazy!
claro esta no eres fanatico de pink floyd hay demaciados registros pero jamas los encontraras en youtube y en ninguna plataforma barata, lo bueno cuesta caro, compra original y veras que no existe nada mas esquisito de pink floyd
I believe dogs was supposed to be on dark side, but Roger argued it didn’t fit (he’s probably right) but maybe that’s why your hearing some animals here
@@ericgardner5969 Dogs came out of some rehearsals in 74. David was happy to have Shine on you crazy diamond, Sheep(then called raving and drooling) and dogs(then called you gotta be crazy) as the next album but Roger came up with the theme of absence and so felt those 2 songs didn't fit.
I am trying to find the video that was shown behind the band during this encore performance. Unfortunately, the concert was before almost every one of us walks around with a video camera on our person.
I saw the Animals Live Over America in Kansas City at the American Royal Arena. It was an amazing experience. It almost brought the roof down. Oh, it did fall a few months later.
se dal vivo e gilmour a cantare money significa che la canta anche quando la incisero in sala di registrazione? allora perché dicono che è waters a cantare?
i do not ear a known voice but a strange voice, at the end of the song. it is not the real pink floyd singing. there are a lot of covers mixes ... maybe music from pink floyd and a voice added from an anonymous singer ? or david was drunk ?
@@jasnesciemnienie9107 well, i just don't understand it, because in MY opinion, it's a really great version of the song. But well, it's your opinion, not mine...
I would give my left leg and right eye to go back in time and see them play live!
Me too. Did you see the other video of Any Colour You Like from Brighton? Insane.

I wish you could, they were beyond awesome.
Best version of Money they ever played. And I’ve heard them all.
Bet you havent.
@@Throckmorton_the_great still way better then any gilmour era money

i think it'd be a high quality audience recording, does it sound like this video?
I thought it was audience front of board. Did the original also have the cuts in Pigs and SOYCD?
It is an Audience recording sadly, but the crowd was fantastic this show. Not a single firework.
Possibly a Mike Millard recording?
the middle section is very relaxing

That must have been amazing, I'm quite frankly jealous, any favourite moments from that gig you have?
Yes its a shame it never was properly recorded!!

The quiet section is mesmerizing, even with the lossy parts.
Masterpiece!
Gilmour solos is awesome. pink floyd is the meaning of Good Music .
Great quad performance of this song on the 77 tour.
Capolavoro assoluto!
Non ho altre parole
Only the 1977 Animals '77 Going For The One tour could have made sound Money like a 1969 "Ummagumma" psychedelic number. Way to go! :-)
David voice lol
Imagine doing 50 concerts after eachother for many months. :) Maybe tired, but still sounds awsome.
He sounds so fucked up, doesn't he?
Moneeeey!
I do not recognize the voice.. is it Him singing or a cover ?...
David's angry singing lol
Omg fantastic!
I much prefer the live Floyd of the 70s..took more chances than the polished stuff later on.
Huh?
i haven't heard any live where they didn't experiment heavily and absolutely nail it.
Genial . . .
Thanks for share this awesome job!

Digging this on my birthday
Hope you had a good birthday :)

Wow, the end of the jam sounds very much like a section from Animals.

where did you get that close up footage of David soloing? This is the only place I've seen that. Very good work!

Best I ever heard was at winterland S.f

White screen effect, overlaying the picture with the original screen film :)
Carlos Santana influenced David Gilmour
Wasn't this the show that inspired the wall or no?
DanielMG it was in montreal
It was the tour name which inspired the first song of the wall "in the flesh?"
This show is famous because of how AMAZING the quality is
too early to be jaded yet. In Montreal later i believe.
It was the Montreal show. This was in Oakland.
right at 4:20 lol

é Gilmour la prima voce di Money, nessuno sostiene sia Waters
Who's singing?
David Gilmour is the singer(and guitar player) in this song.
The roadies (WTF)
Nick Mason
vince neil or david lee roth...not quite sure which one as they both sound quite the same, lol.
