In an unranked format it’s almost encouraged to deck yourself…can’t help but feel like you were the real winner when your deck goes brrrrr so hard it explodes
@@joemasta99 I was thinking the same thing. As long as I’m not low on time needing one of my daily wins, I 100% deck myself out of appreciation for the opponent there.
This was fun. Well done. Props to magicaro6678. You also showed some skill in top decking untapped lands. The rhythm of the wild. Welcome to Etali Park.
I don't think anything is more satisfying than putting 15 creatures onto the battlefield at once and getting four Etali triggers. Oh how I dream to play this deck someday when I can craft the cards
Unlike Ragavan, some of my favourite Historic Brawl games so far have been against Etali. It's literally just Shenanigans™ the Pile, and I love it. That first game is the perfect example of just that lol.
@@Patronux I just realized you can put Etali in a Yorion/Enigmatic Incarnation deck in Explorer, and you can Tutor up Etali with Enigmatic Incarnation + Leyline Binding. Double the Stonks!
Etali is one of those rare cards that's as fun to play as it is to watch and see someone go off. Great vid, and first opp not scooping definitely merits props for them.
First game was nuts and good on the player for hanging in there. Also was happy to see CGB go for lethal that last turn, dragging it out any longer would have been bad form.
Just for anyone who’s interested: the first game had a bug. The Time warp extra turn should have resolved before the opponent took their extra turn off of Emrakul since it was the most recent extra turn effect. Not that it mattered in that game!
Haste and tapping for mana was almost on par with what happened to Pluto. Show references aside, this is why Maelstrom Wanderer is my fav Commander. I love spinning the wheel of free shite, especially when it can run Etali-effects within it!
Could have kept going in that first game by crewing argosy with etali and attach boots to it to give haste lol. Regardless it’s crazy that it happened. Honestly huge props to wizards for coding arena to be able to handle these insane board states
What an incredible deck CGB. I crafted it but I had to do a few adjustments because I didn't have all the cards (but the most) and no rare/mythic wild cards. But I put in other awesome cards like emberclave or city on fire. Going in with Tyrranex Rex and City with fire is nuts! So thank you for this deck Inspiration, gruul is my favourit colour combination. So it suits perfect for me❤ Finally I have a playable Historic brawl deck ❤
CovertGoEtali. It was a absolute joy watching you nerd out so hard-core. Lol. I'm sure your first opponent was enjoying the show as much as we all were
As a huge fan of red and green and dinosaur decks, that Etali card was a complete game-changer. I put him in every deck i make now, and he's absolutely savage. Free Zacamas, Gishaths, Worldspines, Last March of the Ents, the list goes on. It's so broken.
I love love love etali. Having verdant rejuvenation being cast for free from etali’s etb and then hard casting turntimber symbiosis is probably the hardest I’ve ever popped off. From 2 creatures to 10 in 2 turns for almost no mana.
This might be a better version than mine, seems to be more concerned with blue games where as mine is just committed to making every Etali hit good. I don't run Veil of Summer and things like that because hitting them off Etali is trash. Etali is meant to go brrr and I've committed mine entirely to the brrr, might lose some games for it but we sacrifice that happily for that brrr life. I run 47 lands, ramp, and bombs, that's basically it, there's a Rythm of the Wild, Blackblade Reforged, and couple things to double the ETB, just for flavor, but otherwise it's ramp and top end. The high land count means we're basically never mana screwed so we get to cast Etali basically every game. Hitting ramp means if and when they kill Etali we can just play him again. It's crushing when it wins and fun even when it loses, I have no regrets.
I want to build this so badly, but I'm not sure how to build it for a 4 pod. I've seen your commander deck version of it on Moxfield, but I'm wondering if you would put any of the cards from the brawl deck into that one?
Thumbs up for the first opponent, who must have just decided, "Hey, I like CGB, I'll be bored for 10 minutes while he gleefully spins in his chair." :D
ive seen almost EVERY single of your videos, the last months, ive never seen such AN UNGINCHED deck, its incredible to see that etali resolve like 4 times.. D: and Emrakul, and then time warp.. amazing
As of this comment, there are 698 likes and ZERO dislikes. I do no think I have ever seen 700 people on the internet all agree. Well done sir, well done.
"CGB was so preoccupied with whether he could, he didn't stop to think if he should.” ...because the answer was, yes, of COURSE, he should get all the big stompy creatures with Etali.
So i just discovered this deck. And i havent played since new capena. This is actually nuts. I wonder if i can put godzilla in there somewhere bc why not lol
I have the absolute WORST luck with this card. 0-5, every single etali drop only gets me 2-3 mana based cards that are just not good or impactful. Always end up drawing eldrazi cards and just lose. Opponents on the other hand draws my Chanda and emrakul so that’s nice.
That first player was a real trooper, props to them for sticking around
Yeah his opponent was a real good sport letting him have his fun. Mirror march on the other hand didn't want him to have fun
And I guess op could win, if CGB had another big turn and decked himself 😂
In an unranked format it’s almost encouraged to deck yourself…can’t help but feel like you were the real winner when your deck goes brrrrr so hard it explodes
@@joemasta99 I was thinking the same thing. As long as I’m not low on time needing one of my daily wins, I 100% deck myself out of appreciation for the opponent there.
That first match is probably the most insane thing I've seen in magic
This was fun. Well done. Props to magicaro6678. You also showed some skill in top decking untapped lands. The rhythm of the wild. Welcome to Etali Park.

that first game was absolutely insane! We need more players with stamina like that!
It's always fun to see CGB's moments of genuine delight, and Etali certainly delivered
Unlike Ragavan, some of my favourite Historic Brawl games so far have been against Etali. It's literally just Shenanigans™ the Pile, and I love it.
That first game is the perfect example of just that lol.
All praise to magico6678
Thank you magicaro6678 for sticking around and letting CGB pop off
I think Cgb's love for the Dino is only compared with his love for Teferi. Or yorion.
The only red/green love affair he'll truly have.
Yooooooorion
YORION + ETALI = STONKS
@@Patronux I just realized you can put Etali in a Yorion/Enigmatic Incarnation deck in Explorer, and you can Tutor up Etali with Enigmatic Incarnation + Leyline Binding. Double the Stonks!

Yep I've stuck around for some opponents popping off, not quite as hard as CGB, but I thought it was hilarious 😂
First game was nuts and good on the player for hanging in there. Also was happy to see CGB go for lethal that last turn, dragging it out any longer would have been bad form.
“Mr. Hammond, after careful consideration, I’ve decided not to endorse your park.” - every brawl scooper
The amount of joy on your face throughout this video as you got to "do the thing" is so relatable. I love this card so much lol.
CGB dropping consistent HB content is a feel good I did not know I missed before
I absolutely loved your reaction in the first game.
34:33 CGB targets himself with Domri's fight ability.
Just for anyone who’s interested: the first game had a bug. The Time warp extra turn should have resolved before the opponent took their extra turn off of Emrakul since it was the most recent extra turn effect. Not that it mattered in that game!
No way he also topdecked time warp on the mindslaver turn. The absolutely perfect storm.
Haste and tapping for mana was almost on par with what happened to Pluto.
Show references aside, this is why Maelstrom Wanderer is my fav Commander. I love spinning the wheel of free shite, especially when it can run Etali-effects within it!
36:38 best outro ever!!
Do you remember when this was a musical channel? Rhythm of the Wild remembers.
Never have I wanted a video to just keep going so badly. Guess I know what I’m building next.
that first game man that was insane absolutely love this deck
Havent seen you so happy. I'm here for all this sort of content!
Great job on the first opponent for sticking it out for those etali triggers. Magic is more fun when people get to pop off!
Hahahaha the first game hilarious! Props to opponent for sticking through and letting you have fun.
Could have kept going in that first game by crewing argosy with etali and attach boots to it to give haste lol. Regardless it’s crazy that it happened. Honestly huge props to wizards for coding arena to be able to handle these insane board states
Liking specifically for the ultra immersive soundtrack at the end. Felt like I was entering the park for the very first time 😂
What an incredible deck CGB.

Could you please share your half-budget Etali deck? Thanks
magicaro6678 THANK YOU FOR LETTING IT HAPPEN!
You're cool
magicaroo6678 the GOAT
That first game was just absolutely insane. Real MVP the opponent though. Rarely find that good of a sport for content sake.
You were very Roode singing to your Glorious Domination
Just commenting to give that first opponent a thumbs up. A good sport all around.
CovertGoEtali. It was a absolute joy watching you nerd out so hard-core. Lol. I'm sure your first opponent was enjoying the show as much as we all were
Thank you to your first opponent. We all want to see the JANK
As a huge fan of red and green and dinosaur decks, that Etali card was a complete game-changer. I put him in every deck i make now, and he's absolutely savage. Free Zacamas, Gishaths, Worldspines, Last March of the Ents, the list goes on. It's so broken.
I just played your list on the Historic Brawl event : it was awesome and very very fun. Thanks for the video
That rendition of the Jurassic Park theme tho...
It's such a joy to see you so giddy hahaha, and that Jurassic Park theme at the end! Perfect. You're cool.
The first game was nuts and the opponent was probably in awe with how crazy it was
Most would have been out..I hope he sees the video
Would love to see your take on a Narset of the Ancient Way Historic Brawl deck!
I love love love etali. Having verdant rejuvenation being cast for free from etali’s etb and then hard casting turntimber symbiosis is probably the hardest I’ve ever popped off. From 2 creatures to 10 in 2 turns for almost no mana.
12:23 the iconic brawl intro
Thank you so much for the riff at the end, made my day
I was looking for a first ever historic brawl deck, and I wanted dinosaurs. All according to keikaku.
That thumbnail is top shelf
Historic Brawl is by far the most fun format on Arena bar none
Love seeing CGB going crazy with dinos.
That first opponent was a legend for letting you play out our.
Absolutely Chad opponent letting you play out the degenerate combos haha!
I've been seeing Etali but I've been killing it with Red Rush, my Goro Goro deck around turn 4-5.
yeah it's still a ramp deck with ramp weaknesses. But the highs are so high!
That first game was amazing.
Opponent just let it happen.

When u saud ramp ramp gyruda for the old heads i just about 🎲 That was a kinder and gentler time for 😃😃
I want to build this so badly, but I'm not sure how to build it for a 4 pod. I've seen your commander deck version of it on Moxfield, but I'm wondering if you would put any of the cards from the brawl deck into that one?
I'm such a CGB boomer that my response to "Ramp Ramp Gyruda" was "that wasn't even that long ago"
I went back and looked. The first CGB video I watched was a dimir disinformation campaign video from November 2019 lol.
Way late, but nothing is better than seeing CGB truly excited. ❤
Thumbs up for the first opponent, who must have just decided, "Hey, I like CGB, I'll be bored for 10 minutes while he gleefully spins in his chair." :D
I just wish Trickery was unbanned in Explorer so I could pop off with Etali. Maybe you understand how it feels to play that deck now.
Look at his happy little face :D
Spared no expense with the amazing Jurassic Park references!
This deck is everything that my Timmy brain craves!! Can't stop giggling.
Why running both snow-lands and non-snow lands?
I feel like its great, but one sneaky Delina to copy, potentialy multiple times, would make it perfect.
ive seen almost EVERY single of your videos, the last months, ive never seen such AN UNGINCHED deck, its incredible to see that etali resolve like 4 times.. D: and Emrakul, and then time warp.. amazing
when cgb started laughing with his tongue out at 0:59 I was gone 💀
As of this comment, there are 698 likes and ZERO dislikes. I do no think I have ever seen 700 people on the internet all agree. Well done sir, well done.
CGB, i am looking forward to a video on the recent announcement from WOC, I am really curious as to your thoughts.
"CGB was so preoccupied with whether he could, he didn't stop to think if he should.”
...because the answer was, yes, of COURSE, he should get all the big stompy creatures with Etali.
Magicaro6678 is the goat 🐐 for letting cgb go crazy
CGB's new favorite/pet card is Red. What a world we live.
Holy crap, you stole my deck idea!
The first player deserves all the love you can give cause this was abuse.
But I low-key think that they just wanted to see where this was gonna go.
Yorion is apparently now just some creature CGB used to know
12:08 to the moon indeed.
I really wanted to see you deck yourself as a throwback to the last time you did that with mirror march
Just when I think I'm done with Etali, they pull me back in!
W magiccaro for letting you go off and not scooping.
I wouldn't even scoop if that happened to me, I'd just be stunned and watch it unfold
Don't apologize to the Yorion. He deserved it, probably.
Is there a way to beat Etali? Or should you just scoop as soon as you see it?
Yes. Yes, I was entertained.
So i just discovered this deck. And i havent played since new capena. This is actually nuts. I wonder if i can put godzilla in there somewhere bc why not lol
oh snap, the man even broke out the Argussy
Honestly just seeing Golden Argosy in a CGB list is awesome I love that stupid card
Etali storming for the memes... I despise this card, but I love how you ran it in that first game.
I love these Dino decks, keep em up! Etali Gruul ramp is disgusting too atm
Hello can someone please tell me how you get those full art lands on mtg arena? Vault cards doesn't work
Execuse me, why isn‘t there a colossal Dreadmaw in the deck?
Opponent around 10:01 is the hero we need...
All those triggers is why i would never play this in paper.
The child like joy after the time warp XD
I have the absolute WORST luck with this card. 0-5, every single etali drop only gets me 2-3 mana based cards that are just not good or impactful. Always end up drawing eldrazi cards and just lose. Opponents on the other hand draws my Chanda and emrakul so that’s nice.
What's about a Samut deck ?
Bro that first game was crazy lmfao
Magicaroo you're cool!
CovertGoBlue is turning into CovertGoGruul, we need Dino rider tokens!
"I think zacama just tore etalis head off in the lore"
Etali obviously got better
No, she tore his head off as part of the MoM story, after Etali got compleated. He did not get better. 😂
