Read this before the match-assumed the bolas player actually clutched a Liliana ult, until I realized “Bolas’ Clutches” referred to a card that destroyed the bolas player’s hopes and dreams.

At 53:40 you say they can transform their copy of Heliod, but they can't. March of the Machine added rules that allow tokens to copy both faces of TDFCs, but nontoken copies of TDFCs still play by the old rules that only allow them to copy a card's front face (for now, at least. Gavin Verhey implied they're thinking about changing it).
When that ability resolved, he'd have his Mirrorhall Mimic copying Radiant Dawn turn into a Ghastly Mimicry copying Radiant Dawn (so no meaningful change).

CGB I’ll say it now I have always hated Azorious (WB) control but after watching you for a couple years now… I’m starting to really enjoy and want to play these types of decks. Drawing cards and costing stuff for significantly less seems so gratifying 😊
Love this card, love this deck. Best lines in magic are “draw x cards” and “you may cast spells as though they had flash”. In paper I’ve built him as cEDH and group hug, I love that he can be both.

33:00 it always cracks me up when I see a test of talent in historic brawl. Like the card is bad enough in 60 cards format already , but running it in a literal singleton format, where by definition you will find nothing so it's just a worse negate? That's hilarious on another level
13 tail kitsune diety tab 1 tab 2 ones plus ones negative. Get 2 tabs a upkeep.mana abilities do multiply up. So yes artifact land is the colorless cast of having 3 different mana to play it. There's x/x to add Planeswalker pits cones out with 3 remember blue tab saves u to protection casts. Some may need a floating mana to trigger

Mindsplice is pretty sweet with X spells because each counter can be counted towards the X cost so you can cast some pretty big ones with it lol
Love this commander for brawl. I really like folio of fancies and emergency powers for this pile, since you payoff their from their card draw ( and if you have smothering tithe in play even better)
That first game is the prime example of what makes Blue/White fun to play.
This is the most ridiculous, bomby wild shit you could do with azorius, but I shouldn't make hyperbolic statements. But holy fk I love new heliod. What a COOL card! Blue white ftw, it's such a different play style with weird play patterns, I love it. Good building CGB!

Heliod is a powerhouse in standard though. It may be a force now that reflection can’t copy the Harvester anymore and Invoke is gone. It’s even better with Mirror Box

I ran into a guy running an absolutely gross Heliod list that was built around sticking Heliod, transforming him ASAP, then using symmetrical draw spells on my turn with the Flash keyword given by Heliod to force both of us to draw lots of cards. The card draw forced on me at my end step would reduce the cost of the spells they drew which would allow them to do things like stick a UUU Omniscience on like turn 6. It actually seemed like a very fun deck assuming you could get the right mutual card draw spells and Heliod to stick long enough to transform it.
Enjoyed video a lot, specially enjoyed the game from CGCrew(watched it back when it was released), heliod looks fun 😁

Woulden't Academy Loremaster be good for this deck? if you have the Heliod transformed everything has flash, so you can cast it in your enemies phase without the +2 mana penalty, and if your enemy draws a card then you get cost reduction from transformed Heliod?
This makes my Raff Historic Brawl look like the clunkiest piece of shit I've ever brewed haha

Playing draw go in commader/brawl is like taking candy from a baby. I'm not saying its bad but no matter how WotC tried to push (read: milk) the format, it is a very casual format. A lot of people I know and that I have encountered just ff/concede when facing draw go. If you're feeling kinda low or having a bad hair day, just put up some random monoblue brawl deck with all counterspell and bounce and whatnot and feel good about getting that easy T2-T4 concede from your opponents. Just wants to ask CGB, how many game(s) where people concede early seeing 1-2 counterspells that did not make it into the vid?

this deck needs some stuff that lets you have infinite cards in your hand like wizard class, ALSO why is wizard class not in this deck? one mana drop, 3 more mana gets you 2 cards and 3 more mana gets you "whenever you draw a card put a +1/+1 counter on target creature" so that + draw 15 cards lol I use it in my rusko deck and every time a clock goes off that is 7 +1/+1 counters wherever I want

I run Liliana last hope in my Atraxa deck. It’s so unsuspecting but that ult is insanely good.

I think a twitch stream of the would be cool, it could serve as a way to show us what your first thoughts are on the bans, which you like, maybe which you wished were there, and that doesn't negate a possibility of a video of "how do these cards going away might affect standard" in a deeper video down the line, but just having the video would be cool too.
If they want to make a "celebration" or "event" out of these "Ban Days", then I imagine a stream is fitting.
