    That video showed to me randomly and it got my interest only from the thumbnail. Although I watch Cities Skylines videos in x2 times speed, I watched this video carefully and totally amazed with your styling architecture. I don't usually write comments nor pressing like and subscribing to a channel immediately but I loved your content and you deserve it. Well Done!

    I'm super new to your channel...and this game. Having said that, despite knowing about CS2's upcoming release I bought the original and most of the DLCs and 'm not regretting it at all. Having said that, I'm very new to building a good looking and functional city. This masterclass episode really helped me a lot. Thank you for taking the time to do this.

    How did you improve your city-building skills? I've been watching videos on this game for awhile and want to learn how to play ahead of CS2's release, but I'm kind of lost as to how to get better. Just playing the game always leads me to traffic issues and the like as my cities develop.

    Hi, nice video but what's the point of the elevated arterial road? There's no way to get off or on it and there's no room to build connections. Perhaps I missed it in the video but I don't understand (1) what it is going to be used for and (2) why spend the money now on it? Thanks!

    • @Captain_Ahvious
      @Captain_Ahvious  9 місяців тому

      It's like adding the metro station when there's no next stop to go to. The elevated road is to connect and travel to succeeding tiles when they are developed. The metro station and elevated roads are just preparing for the future.

    I think it is a smart idea to start the new series because of the change to the Meta. There was a lot of change, and what worked then might not now or at least be done differently and more efficiently.

    • @seankessel3867
      @seankessel3867 9 місяців тому +1

      I might be out of the loop, but what do you mean by changes to the Meta?

    • @Xucaboa
      @Xucaboa 9 місяців тому

      @@seankessel3867 I say it in the sense of micro mechanics of every little thing in the big macro picture, which is what I presume Cap means as well.

    • @Captain_Ahvious
      @Captain_Ahvious  9 місяців тому +2

      In gaming, Meta is the acronym for the “Most Effective Tactics Available.” So for example, You can start a city using the Wind Turbine which is cheaper, but in the long run, its not as efficient and its highly dependent on the wind speed in the area. In Cities Skylines, which is a chilled laid back building simulator, Meta is not taken too seriously compared to playing RTS games where you train an army and fight the opposing player.

    • @Thepissheadman
      @Thepissheadman 9 місяців тому +1

      Respectfully, I kind of hate the concept of a meta. In a properly balanced game there should be no such thing as a matter. Amanda certain aspects of the game to get an advantage to the detriment of the Quality of interactions. Only games with poor balance again should have matters as they are the antithesis to the interactivity that is at the core concept of the game

    • @Captain_Ahvious
      @Captain_Ahvious  9 місяців тому +1

      Yah its a little interesting to mention "Meta" in a city builder. Even if whatever build you choose to do, it will eventually balance itself out and it won't be the end of the world. While other games will have a more severe consequence for inefficiency.

    • @Captain_Ahvious

      Combination of Ultimate Eyecandy and Theme mixer mod, and you also have to find a theme with the texture that you want like the white sand. Then use the mentioned mods to apply them.

    Does zoning commercial right across the road from residential not cause noise pollution issues?

    • @Captain_Ahvious
      @Captain_Ahvious  9 місяців тому

      Yes, it would still cause noise pollution but since I only zoned one side and it's low density, then it's not loud enough for the nearby residents to complain about.
