- Follow me for a day in the life of a grain haulage driver where on this day I had three difficult farms to manoeuvre in and out of and to make things even more difficult it was very cold and the roads were iced up and some of the lanes had not been gritted
Your driving skills are second to nobody’s, your an incredible driver Jemma
Well, this answered my (unasked) question: Whatever the hell are they gonna do over there if an on comer is coming, like a bus. That was quite a long reverse, wasn't it? Those country lanes are narrower than the driveway at our house in Canada. Hat's off Jemma. Amazing maneuvering skills.
Jemma it looks as if you are on ice road truckers take care ❤
Jemma, you've got strong nerves driving down those tiny lanes ! And that low, winter sun is deadly, I hate it !
Love the video and your West Country accent !!
Thank you☺️Think I’ve just got use to it and know no different. ☺️
I am a Bangladeshi truck driver. I watch all your videos. Your videos make me so happy. And you are so beautiful. Allah created you with a very beautiful appearance. Always drive the truck carefully. May Allah bless you.🇧🇩🇧🇩🇧🇩🚛🚛🚛
She is the inspiration for all girls thinking of taking up trucking and tramping, 😍she makes It look so easy even though It is not
Pure magic. What a trucking artiste. Brill from an old retired trucker from the sixties. Stay cool and stay safe Jemma
Thank you ☺️ hope you’re enjoying a well deserved retirement ☺️
Wow your doing things with your Truck or Lorie, lol we would never do here in the United States of America.Great job🎉
Wow! I just started doing class 2 earlier this year as a second job, been in some difficult situations but have to admit you are absolutely amazing. Superb skills and judgement, huge respect. Keep up the content, it’s very enjoyable. Won’t be long before you can properly monetise the channel and get the rewards you deserve. Fantastic. 👍
Thank you. Yes I hope so! I would like to get a proper microphone so that my audio is better with the money. Keep on trucking ☺️
I just love how you make getting in and out of tight spots look so simple. Most drivers would freak out at so many difficult challenges. I’ve watched a few of your videos now. You’re a credit to the industry. Loving the content. My dad has been a trucker for over 30 years. I love driving but the standard of others on the road puts me off. Shame because I love it tbh. Love how the Wurzels got mixed in with Nelly and Kelly 😂
Thank you. I’ve become calm about it over time. I think the first year or so I would have had a hot flush when confronted with tight manoeuvres. I’ve always done farm work so I guess I’ve had to get used to it ☺️
What a fantastic video Jemma your you are such a inspiration for author people who may want to get into the truck industry l know that the services doun't always have decent showers and when you have to sleep in lay-bys that is difficult but you are a great inspiration for other female drivers to may be starting in the truck lndustry and l would love to see a video on cleaning products 😀 😊 hope you have a great weekend at the Devon truckshow
You are the best driver ever , Vaya con Dios ,Peter
some of those roads were tighter than two coats of paint. quality driving 👏👏
🤣🤣I’ve never hear that one! Definitely going to use it from now on 🤣
You are good , you are very good. Great to see a real professional, not just a freeway jockey.
Have to admit Jemma, you're brilliant at what you do 👍
Thank you ☺️
Great video keep it going, great respect for your skills
greetings from Canada-------just enjoy your driving so much----we need truck drivers in
Canada-------so you would go from small winding roads to very icy ones in winter and they are long---------safe journey-------Tom
It seems to me it’s a feel thing...not just something you can simply be taught!? Brilliant micro adjustments make all the difference! Many years ago in the days of BRS, we would turn out every NIGHT to see a driver reverse his Peter Stuyvesant trailer down the narrow space between our two buildings( over 50 metres long!),into the main yard, missing big industrial rainwater drainpipes by millimetres and never once having to take another go at it! Truly incredible driving! This young lady is in that league! Terrific stuff! Cheers
Thank you!! I think if you a destined to do the job you kind of inherit an intuition for it. Thank you for such a lovely comment ☺️
Love you’re videos Jemma! You’re inspiration.
Jemma I agree with your other comments, you're a very experienced lorry driver you always have the situation under your control. brilliant. ❤❤
My name is Wade Bradbury from Newfoundland Canada ,im 54 and disabled I’m a 19 year veteran of the Upper Island Cove Vol. Fire Department. I’m very impressed and proud of everything you do .Keep up the great work BABY
Cracking video again Jemma, thanks for that. I thought buses & coaches weren't supposed to reverse without a banksman however, I bet you're blooming glad he did. Superb vlogs, keep them up 👍🏻
there was not much choice. (And it's waaaaaaay harder to reverse in an artic.)
I used to be a bus/coach driver.Banksmen are not always around sometimes passengers help you
Proper job that Mis Jemma 1st class driving that
Hi Jemma another day of tight squeezes in farm yards great job keep them wheels turning
I was talking to an old waggoners son in the boozer, who was from some place near Michigan in the US and he could'nt believe they sent, quote; "semIs " down these lanes. You earn ya salt, love.
Thank you! To be honest having always done farm work, I don’t know any different. ☺️
Wow I can’t believe how tight the roads are there.I am from the USA it’s amazing how well you get around.thanks for sharing
Thank you . I have been to America and been out in a truck and I thought how much road you guys have and I only seen one roundabout. We have loads here ☺️
This Blog is new to me [ex.Yeovil] - now retired(80) in the USA.
I watch you girls as an excellent tour of the English Countryside
when I am down. Houndstone Camp was a Driving School in the
1950's putting a lot of Army Women behind the wheel ofsome heavy
stuff without the advantage of powersteering and automatic gearboxes
- I too was once on the sidewalk of Henford Hill in the Ice!
Hi!! I’m not far from Yeovil and go through there a lot☺️
Fantastic skills. My late father had a 38 tonne bulker in the late 80's , with air suspension trailer , Renault Turboliner unit. Could be brutal on tyres that job . Nice to see how equipment has improved over the years. Take care and keep the vids coming.
WHAT A DRIVER. BRILLIANT.
I've met hundreds of drivers in my years in hgv and I can say your a true good driver they should've awarded you truck driver of the year 100%
The real deal or what! Really enjoying these vlogs Jem! Thanks!
Thank you ☺️
Wicked video Jemma nice bit of driving on them tight farms should do a video with the blower trailer as well
Thank you! Yes I did one last week. Although I would like to do another one on it
Safe travels trucking Jemma
Great insight into your job keep up the good work jemma
Your reversing skills are amazing, I have trouble in my work van lol 😂
Watched your video for the first time tonight. Really impressed and informative, as a farmer in his early 40s who’s not long passed his class 1 it’s great to see a real world take on the job, plus you have a lovely smile
Thanks, glad it has been helpful ☺️
Fantastic driving skills 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿
Thank you ☺️
Your good your amazing
That bus driver thought he was only one entitled to be on the roads? Keep at the good work ☘️
That gave me anxiety just watching! That gap was so tight. You’re bloody good though 👍🏻 just subscribed
haha thank you and welcome :)
You don’t let any challenges faze you Gemma you would put a lot of drivers I work with to shame 👍
Great Video ❤️😘
Awesome video Jemma as per usual! You are an amazing driver, I aspire to be as good as you one day!
Wow Jemma, that first farm escape was narrow as! Nice to see you out and about.
Thank you! Yes it was a tight one ☺️
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 to the wurzels oooh arrgh
Phew! I was holding my breath when you were manoeuvring down them tight farm tracks and country lanes.
I used to be a fuels tanker driver 24 years ago and I thought some of the forecourts were tricky but nothing compared to what I just watched.
Well done.
I’ve now subscribed to your UA-cam channel.
Thank you. Yes I have seen tankers in fuel stations and have wondered why they never really give you enough space 🤷🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️
I thought Women couldn't reverse Jemma. I've just shown this to my wife. Although thinking about it she might be alright reversing an artic because when she reverses her Fiesta she turns the opposite way. Ha ha We think you're brilliant. Love your channel.🚛🚛
🤣🤣 I must say I am better at driving a lorry than a car. Thank you to both of you ☺️
Great video Jemma
Amazing driving skills around those tight lanes and farm tracks! I get palpitations if I meet something coming the other way towing my caravan down those small lanes
Keep up the good work loving your daily driving skills 👍
Hey, thanks for the ride Jemma, I love Somerset, son went to school there, Brymore, love the county and its people. You take care.
Thank you. Ah yes that is not far from me. I know quite a few people who went to Brymore ☺️
Wow fair play Jemma that was a class bit of trucking getting through those lanes 👌great video as always
Hi Jemma, new subscriber.
Cracking videos. Nice to see a calm and professional approach to the job, a very easy watch. Happy New Year 👍🤝👌
Thank you. Happy new year to you too ☺️
narrow lanes are a right pain, i once loaded potatoes at a farm at collumpton, nightmare !!!!
Great reversing
Awesome driving Jemma
Very very impressive 👍
Hey Gemma, new subscriber🏴. Awesome vlog and driving! Holy crap, some of those roads are tighter than a crabs bum. 🤣🫣🫣 keep up the good work and safe travels.
Haha they certainly are! Thank you ☺️
Great insight into your life and what you do. You know your stuff and can really handle that truck in all these tight spots. Great to watch.
Thank you. Glad you enjoyed it ☺️
A pro driver get out and look, don’t do the macho style..”I’m the best at reversing, no need to get out” that’s when accidents happen.. great skills Jemma 🎉😊
Yes exactly☺️ thank you ☺️
Thank you for sharing your trucking adventures with us. Never let anyone tell you that you do not have skill as a driver. Watching you navigate in and out of those farms and country lanes gives us a great example of your trucking ability. There is no way that our long hood Pete could make those pick up or deliveries. Thank you for the great contact.
Thank you ☺️
Great work again Jemma 👌 for a big girl you get through some seriously tight spots, matey in the bus had a fairly straight run backwards, so rightly so he should go back, I'll agree there's nothing worse than backing into a dark shed, especially into the sun, but as always you need it👍 keep up the videos and talking to, your funny when you say little thing's 🤣
Thank you! I will do my best to keep it up☺️
Great vid keep up the good work
you do a good job Jemma
Your the bollox girl what a driver 👍👍
Great vlog Jemma really enjoy what u put out 😁 keep up the good work 🚛
Happy new year Jemma. Had to smile at the car multiple shunts. ☺️. Love and respect to you. X.
The car had more trouble reversing than the bus Lol
Yes it did 🤣 thank you ☺️
Another awesome video Jemma, that’s some tight farms you have to go to, awesome skills 🤛. Love Somerset and love going back to Burnham every other weekend, such a beautiful part of the country. Andy Bennett he is hilarious 🤣 and the wuzels, proper job Andy, great taste and you definitely wouldn’t here that anywhere else, I bet that was a proper moment with the sun shining driving cross country, proper Job 🤛👍😊, keep on Trucking Jemma
Thank you! Looking at the veiws while the sunsets definitely chills you out after a tough day ☺️ Andy is great 😊
@@jemmawarren27 it so does, it makes the job, definitely one of the best perks of driving 🤛👍😊
Another excellent video Jemma and shows us a great insight into your work keep up the excellent work you are doing x
Fantastic driving. Enjoyed the video. Thanks 👍
Loving your work Jemma
Hi Jemma, great video, glad you got that bus to back up. You did brilliant job of getting in and out of them farm yards👍
Thank you ☺️
Fantastic 😃👌👍
Met Jemma briefly today at nwf feeds while she was tipping her lorry and me a tractor and trailer it was great to meet her
Nice to meet you too!! ☺️
Great Vlog and great insight into maneuvaring around the roads in the South West. Your braver than me. Keep those Vlogs coming....
Thank you ☺️
Back in the day, I worked as a helper under a master millwright moving large industrial equipment and structures. I'm sure he would have called you a "skinner" for that level of driving - his highest compliment. It refers to "mule skinner" from the old west mule train freight days. Best I ever got from him was about as good as a hung-over skinner. LoL. RIP Hervey
Very impressive and you keep so calm throughout the day. 👌🏼
Thank you. Yes I’m a pretty calm person. I think it helps in this job ☺️
Keep up the good work Jemma.👍👍
A very good Sunday evening to you all from Wellington Somerset
Some top driving skills there Jemma. So glad I subscribed to this channel recently. The time lapse footage is good as well, keeps it interesting without having to experience every mile in real time. We're tipping on farms and fields all the time in East Anglia so know the difficulties you can have.
Thank you. I’m trying to experiment to make it as interesting as possible so that is really good to know ☺️
@@jemmawarren27 I also found the go pro or camera above the drivers door interesting how it seems to have a bit of a fish eye lens but rotates or arcs a bit as well to give us a greater view! 👍🏼
I know I mentioned this before, but these lanes and farm entries are often insanely narrow. You have to be on top of your game when you deliver to these places. But you're an experinced driver, who plan ahead so usually there are no problems. I love it when you "push" the coach in front of you in the tiny village. I can understand why the other driver wasn't too pleased with this. That was a long and difficult reverse. Although the locations are often challenging I have to admit that the countryside is really gorgeous. Typical English small villages and lovely scenery. What type of Scania do you drive, how much horsepower is under the cab? Excellent vlog again Jemma, it's awesome we can follow your day and we can look behind the scenes. Keep up the fantastic job.
Thank you. It’s a 500 hp S cab. Yes it’s beautifully scenery to work in☺️
@@jemmawarren27 500 is a decent amount of horsepower, it can pull you out of almost all hairy situations. Do you only carry bulk commodities or palletised goods too?
Doing a awesome job cobber 👍🚜🚛 from Melbourne Australia 🇦🇺👍
Love the videos jemma. You keep safe. Keep on trucking ❤❤
Beautiful country side and quaint lane but a real challenge for you in that truck. Great skills! I enjoy your videos!!
Thank you ☺️
A bit of a tight squeeze a bit of very good driving
Can't beat The Wurzels
Its strange seeing you drive the roads i drive down everyday in the Jurassic Coaster buses. Love the videos Jemma keep up the good hard work.
Thank you. They are great roads on a good day but can be nasty when it’s foggy, windy and rainy. I’ll look out for you ☺️
@@jemmawarren27 truer words have never been spoken 😂
Indeed 🤣
Wow some narrow lanes there ya did brilliant though 👍😘
Happy New year jemma
Happy new year ☺️

Well done Jem yeah not the best òf places eh
I use to do nurseries cross Devon down to deepest Cornwall mind I was using a 12mt urban trailer.
Hats off to the coach driver he did a good job there.
I’m always quite surprised at how off the beaten track some nurseries can be. There is one near Luppit that looks like a pain. And thank you ☺️
Very good video jem love it as usual
Awesome driving Jemma, round the Willow tree looks fun. Keep up the good work. Happy New Year.
Thank you. Happy new year to you too ☺️
