Yes just like cars and anything else people buy them on rent-to-own terms and if they fail to make their payments it gets REPOED.

"Watch Storage Shed Repossession Nightmare"
• Storage Shed Repossess...
~-~~-~~~-~~-~
I, once, had some work done to my car. At the same time, my furnace went. I called the guy with my car and explained what happened, and worked out a deal to pay a bit every month. I got my car, he got his money on time, and we both gained a new friend. He has been repairing my cars ever since! No reason to lie and cheat.
That’s it. Be honest and TALK to the person you owe money and try to work something out and then give your best to pay the money back asap.
Right. That's the way people should do things. Not getting nasty and confrontational.
There is EVERY reason to lie and cheat. If you are a liar and a thief.
oh i been there i always paid i worked it out with the people doing the work, no problem. these people want stuff for free. nope and i have zero sympathy for them.
Live in a decent city/town midwest everyone knows everyone here. Made real good friends with our auto repair people, husband and wife cute couple. If we don't have enough for the bill. "Pay us when you get it! No rush!" They dont hound us, we pay almost immediately but wow such trust ❤ good people help good people
Could you imagine looking out your window and seeing your neighbors deck getting repoed like a car💀😂
You know you aint lending them anything for sure 😂😂😂
At a trailer park I'm sure you see all kinds of wild sh**
Let's be honest, in a trailer park, they're probably next lol
You would not know if it is getting repoed, or if they are just moving.
What is funny about that? The lack of humanity that social media enables is gross.
I had no idea that you can get a deck repo’d. And not taking it apart and just towing it out blew me away. You learn new stuff everyday.
Anything that's being paid on can be repo'd.
@@kennywood6434except you risk arrest for trespass by going on someone else’s property. The better approach is to assert a mechanic’s lien and then sue to enforce the lien.
@@snomaim Depends on what's in the contract they signed. Nowadays for things like sheds, decks etc. it'll state in the contract that they have the right to enter the persons property for the purpose of repossession for non payment.
The fact that 1: it wasn't built on footings and 2: it was built on top of those heavier pieces of lumber along both the long sides that basically worked like skids... Seems like it's built with the ease of repo in mind. Sucks for people who do pay though, cause it doesn't bode well for the life of the deck. You don't want ANY of the lumber where can rest in water. That's the whole point of concrete footings, lifting it up away from water and moisture in/on the ground and minimizing how much lumber makes contact with another surface.
@@misslora3896 this.
So basically, she was hoping to be able to move the deck before anybody noticed and disappear out of state!

@austinbarthel6032 I am a lawyer. Just like smashing up a bathroom, when someone doesn't pay, you would have to revert the property to the exact same condition as prior to work started. This is nearly impossible. I have won every case like this I have ever been involved in.
The people being porch repo have money for cigarettes, beer , satellite tv, high speed internet . Full body tattoos. They tell you checks in the mail. Deck Repo Men you have my full support. Great work!

In the UK it is easy to spot the poeple who are not working and living on social security benefits...they are the ones who can afford to be covered in expensive tatoos, wear all the designer sports wear, carry the latest phone and quite often have a pedigree 'status' dog...the people who work cannot afford these things.

I think she was going to try to skip town with not paying & taking the deck. She already had too much of that worked out in her head to not think she was not plotting to run with it, lol. I could see her fugitive wanted poster now, wanted for not paying for a deck & taking it over state lines. LOL
Moving day is going to suck now with no steps to move her stuff out.
She had it all worked out how much she could afford to move the deck (that didn't belong to her) but somehow didn't have the inclination to pay off her debt for it.
I think you hit the nail on the head. I don't think she had any intention of paying more on what she owed for the deck. By her own admission, she'd already thought to have it moved and you're right... they got there at the right time or it would have been gone.
Moving is a hassle, there's no way she was going to move that deck and take it with her. I can't imagine how much that would cost and I'm going to imagine the old lady in a trailer probably couldn't move it herself
