I’m about to do the same install on mine, hoping the clutch lever is a bit easier on the hand as the shorty levers I have can be a pain in traffic at times. Still hoping to hear from you one of these years on the timing covers. Safe riding and thanks for the video Jay!
Either way works. This way I can unbolt the old one and set it aside without it dangling and scratching something or getting brake fluid somewhere. The banjo bolt wasn't tightened until after, in the video I just put it and the hose in place
I understand you've donne this video a year ago, but I wonder if you can help me... I'm pretty sure I accidentally pushed the clutch lever while I had the slave out (dum, I know). The thing is, now my clutch only "grabs/work" at the very end of the course (don't know if I'm explaining it well...). What do you suggest I do? Do you think that bleeding it again, would help?... Thanks for the help
as @enoc2432 said, bleed your lines again. I have a video on pushing the fluid up from the bottom (reverse bleeding). It's very easy and requires a little syringe, plus you minimize the amount of air you will get in the lines while bleeding the typical "backyard" way

Great tutorial! Thanks for sharing it.
Why didn’t you bolt the new slave on before transferring the hose/banjo - would it not have been easier

Did you have to remove the oil before taking the slave off or does the oil settle at the bottom of the engine case?
do you mean brake fluid? Yes. Engine oil, no. The engine oil stays in the engine case
