Rambling with Khealos 14 - How to Grow Battletech

- In a niche hobby, Battletech is still pretty niche. It is growing in popularity, but there are still a lot of potential players who see it as a clunky game.
If we want to grow the game in our hobby space we have to evangelize it, show that it isn't just a bunch of charts and tables, that it is a tactical game with nuance, and that it is FUN!
In this ramble I talk about what has been done in my local area to help grow the space. If you have suggestions please comment below!

The Quickstart Rules are great for introducing people. Starting off eith the full ruleset will just alienate new players. Put them on the QS rules for a few games and they will have a blast and then will want the more advanced normal rules.
our battletech group plays in Tyler. we should find a way to battle some weekend.
I'm not sure how many of us are up to traveling but hit us up on Discord. It would be fun to have some regional battles
