Great video as always Doug! Those bushes from Martin are great. Definitely need to add those to the scenery materials!

Looks great man. I’ve got a big spread and not really any rhyme or reason to what I work on other than what I feel like . Sometimes laying track, always building structures, sometimes feel like doing scenery. This video makes me want to get some more scenery done. It’s nice seeing how other people do things. There are natural things that can be used for scenery too. I’ve found some of those small little fox tail looking weeds that often grow on the shoulders of roads work nice for dry grasses. You can pull tufts out of them and glue them around as just one example.

I'm always keeping an eye out for weeds, roots to use. Better stuff out west though, east coast plants not as good. Thx for watching.

that mitered corner on the grafiti wall that u were concerened about actually looks really good like that, kind of like the old wall is failing due to mousture freezing in the winter pushing the wall apart

This was very useful. I already use many similar (if not identical) techniques but this really showed me where I can improve, along with great demonstrations of products I should try. Thank you for pulling it all together.

A small screen sifter used in baking would be good for applying the dirt.

Great video as they all are, thank you for your experience and help. One thing, your videos are all recorded with you voice so low that I have to turn the volume all the way up. That’s not a problem until an ad comes on then their volume is 20x what yours is. It’s not going to stop me from watching, just wanted you to know.

Adding acrylic paint to the Sculptamode before applying to the layout prevents white coloring from peaking through due to chipping.
