- This is an ETA/Valjoux 7760. It was found in a Kobold R.E. Byrd manual wind chronograph watch. Basically the ETA/Valjoux 7750 without the automatic wind module. This is great for the video because there isn't a rotor getting in the way of filming the functions in action!

Just goes to show, just because its swiss does not mean its of high quality. I will say, the movement appears to have good amplitude.

Is that....... plastic?!
Unfortunately it seems so...
In this function (brake) the plastic is actually a better option, as it causes less wear and is self lubricating.
I have this same movement it reads "le reveil" on the dial it seems to work fine keeps time and wen i engage the chronograph all the parts move properly just the same as in this video but the hand does not move.
