    I’ve a QN95B and its easily the best TV I’ve owned. HDR movies look spectacular in FMM.

    This was the review i needed as the S95C 77'' is currently selling for 2699€ in my country, while QN95B 75'' is 1799€, 900€ cheaper.
    S95C is obviously better, but QN95B is way closer than i expected when it comes to contrast and black levels and on top of that is brighter, zero burn-in risk and less stuttering. QN95B also has better speakers, you can easily tell it at 4:32 the sound is much better than the one coming from S95C.
    Considering is 900€ cheaper, i easily went with QN95B.

    The reality here is that the QN95B held up extremely well against the supposed superior QDOLED. Most of the footage I couldn't say the S95C had any advantage.
    As for contrast sure, but at the same time, you gain shadow detail with the QN95B. Not everything has to be extreme contrast. It's not how real life works. We do not have pure black shadows in real life, ever. Because if we did then there would be pitch black night and shadows wouldn't be seen anyway.
    So the gist of it:
    S95C wins in contras by a bit
    QN95B wins in brightness by a bit
    But Qn95B wins with no ASBL, no major ABL and no burn in risk. Can't say that about QDOLED.
    The QN95C could perform even better than QN95B, especially because it has double the dimming zone count and the choice of static/active tone mapping.

      Great points, i don't understand people hyping the pure black. I want to see details not pure black. 😅

      Thanks! I prefer the S95C. To me, it’s the perfect bedroom tv. I’m barely ever in my bedroom except when it is night time and also the tv is only going to be on for an hr or two if that so I’m not worried about burn in.

    Hi , thanks for the comparison . I can only assume that both tv's are setup the same , if so , the QN95B looks too bright -- picture washed out compared to the S95C . Can you please tell me if the overall backlight adjustment could be turned down on the QN95B , not the Brightness , the __ Backlight __ adjustment ? Would that help with contrast or would it just darken the overall picture.
    Thanks again , Dreamer 

      Both were on dynamic picture mode. You can manually lower the brightness of the qn95b or you can change picture mode to movie mode or filmmaker mode. My understanding is that you can’t turn down the backlight adjustment. You have to turn down the brightness or switch picture modes.

    • @Dreamer5211
      @Dreamer5211 10 місяців тому

      Thank you for confirming the dynamic setting . Usually I try to stay away from that setting , I have found standard is far better than dynamic . Once I decided on a tv , I will be looking forward to the newer movie and filmmaker modes !! Take care and thanks again , Dreamer @@JCTechFinance

    I have a chance to get either the QN90B 85 or the QN95B 75 inch for the same price: 1226.06 USD. Who would you pick and why? Please let me now

    • @JCTechFinance
      @JCTechFinance  Рік тому +2

      It depends on what you’re looking for. Both screens are pretty big but the Qn90b’s size may be better for immersion if you have the space for it. Performance wise they are very similar but you may get slightly better performance out of the qn95b because it has a slightly better chip inside. The design of both tvs is the biggest difference. The qn95b has a one connect box which makes mounting the Tv easier. I would go for the Qn90b if I’m not mounting it and I have the space. If I am mounting it I would go for the QN95b

      Have you notice that in your tv s95c is that common cuz tries to expand due to the emitted heat, it finds itself trapped between the TV frame.

    Don't want to baby a TV to avoid the inevitable burn-in all OLEDs will eventually suffer from.

    • @michaeldolan932
      @michaeldolan932 2 місяці тому

      Yup. Already replacing my 4 year old LG OLED due to horrible burn in from casual gaming. Another thing people never mention, even without burn in the OLED will dim with use. I've never seen an OLED compared to an LED after a year of use, but I imagine the OLED would be knocked down in rank greatly.
