You are a marvel - thank you so much for getting the Heap running 💜 I’m honestly astounded - many have tried and failed! I’ve learnt so much and can’t wait to learn more so that I can enjoy many years with this engine!
One nice engine for sure, though i will say considering its a two stroke and smokes like an old freight train a bit might want to give the ole girl her own smoke stack.
@@heathfiedler Running light without a load, put a load onto the engine and it will burn cleaner, just another one of the foibles of early two strokes.
@@Rossespinne Should do it looks like a factory built unit, so that pump must be the correct loading, may depend on what the rated head was as it looks lie it was intended for a well or bore hole.
Nice job. I would have suspected the timing in the beginning, as for some years. I ran an FB motorcycle with a Villiers 197 engine, with the weight of the brass flywheel these were notorious for loosing the timing often on stopping as the heavy flywheel wanted to keep going,
I reckon someone has timed it up in reverse! They've followed the instructions, but been turning the crank in the opposite direction. Being a two stroke though, I reckon it could have quite possibly run in the reverse direction. Oh, if only you could have tried starting in reverse, it could have been interesting.
Hey with that Wico 2 wire magneto was missing something in the center of the Cap so you used Tin Foil, I found there should be a small spring that conducts to transfer the spark to the rotor. I watched a video that showed that BTW, so I hope that may be a better fix to that Wico Magneto.
Me eye were twitchin once you were tightening the flywheel whith the uga dugga gun after adjusting her. My brain thought there shurley was a key on the crank 😁✌👍
Villiers. Lovely old things. Well done. I was right in thinking it must be timing...
Nice one Ben but maybe you should shut your door to the house 😂with all that smoke 😊it’s great when you get things working 👍👏👏
My Mrs would go mad all that 2 stroke zorst going in the house lol haha well done.

@@heathfiedler thanks for this :) I’ve got a lot to learn so I’m totally open to all suggestions that could help :)
@@Equiluxe1 hopefully the Blake water pump will do that nicely :) I’m looking forward to trying it out!

Lovely little engine runs a gooden now hopefully the owner will get many years of fun out of her good work as usual 👍

Proper job Fenn! Runs a treat that! Well done for sussing the timing
What a gorgeous little engine and purrs away with a load applied 😊 top job that Man Cave!
I've got a 1942 WX11,a total rebuild from last year.

Nice job Adam.
Great result fixing engine, can we see it pumping water sometime.
Nice job. It will run much smoother with a load on, put the belt on the pump.👍
Av got a 70 something British seagull long shaft out board engine that sounds exactly like that 😀
Great work, thanks for sharing 👍💨💨
Thank you for another nice video👍it runs very nice, I like those old twostroke engines
Nice one Ben 👍
Wow u are amazing Adam well done the lady will be very happy and p😮
Lol has that crank shaft no got a woodruf key great vid
Same flywheel and magneto as my small British seagull outboard.
Lovely little engine. You got it running sweet as a nut.
First I love your videos but can you tell me y you don't finish one job before starting a new one, Thank you 👍👍❤
Good job, mine also runs with the mixture wheel in that position
Well done. I hope the manuals were of some use.
Running nice i like the 2strokers
How can many people of checked it over yet no ones checked the timing ??as simple as getting two marks to line up 😂.
Spot on Ben runs sweet
Very nice work
Great video well done🤠
No key in flywheel or is it a friction fit
I have had a look at the manual for this engine. It is friction fit.
Brilliant 👍
The water drain valve is leaking.
I think the carburettor needs a bit more attention old mate
sweet running engine
Carb is not setup correctly like I mentioned in the previous video
