Yeah, I like the boat neck style too. Also surprisingly liked the racerback top style, didn't think it would work for broad shoulders but I quite liked it.

Proud of you. I'm a 37yr old woman and only in the last few years did I realise that I feel so uncomfortable in the navy and "mature" clothes I was wearing. Now I wear basically hot pink and feel fab and weirdly way more confident in public 🤷

ok! first of all watching this vid made realize that i might be an apple shape! all of the outfits were bomb! but i think if the skirt was a little higher in the ruffle like higher waisted for the first outfit it could work. it was a cute outfit tho! just needed a little shaping! thank you fei! i do miss the k style hauls tho. I hit my 30s and as an autistic individual particularly i like safe things I’m familiar with and haven’t changed my likes much from my teens so I feel no one should care nor judge beyond like exposing your private area haha, but you’ll always catch me in video game adjacent attire and pleated skirts! I look great and I feel fashionable and I get compliments all the time on my fun and cute choices. They are even able to fit in the office. Don't let age or style get in the way of how you want to look, how you feel inside and out. Its fun so let it be fun!

Back in 2015 I started living abroad for college! At that point I lost so much weight and I was the smallest size I’ve ever been in my whole life. I’ve been back in the US for 4 years now and I have gained all the weight back and more. I’m struggling with dressing for my body and just learning to accept my current body but I hope to just love my body and dress how I want without worrying. You are a huge inspiration!

That yellow plaid skirt looks cute as hell!! Absolutely those body shape guides and such are just guides and shouldn't be obsessed over or strictly adhered to because sometimes things work or don't work, regardless of whatever the "rules" say. ALSO the black square neck top I LOVE IT!!! With really wide opening square necks like that, something about the crisp sharpness of the collar shape just looks SO GOOD with curvy chests!! So cute! This was such a fun video. I'm trying to reengage with clothes again instead of just being in survival mode with it all the time lol so I love videos like this! 💞✨

I don't agree with that very first skirt being ideal for apple shapes. I might be bias because I just hate that half pleat look, but I promise a better option is one that is fully pleated from top to bottom.

I’ve been plus sized and am now smaller but I’ve always been an apple, I live for high waisted pleated skirts. Or ones that sit on the smaller point of my waist to accentuate that and cover the tum! Show them legs off girl! Also I made friends with really nice shaping stockings cause ya girls a bit saggy after the weight loss _(:3」z)_ edited to mention that wide pants and cargos are a godsend but slap some combat boots on cause y2k is in right now, 20 year fashion cycle comin in strong!

I think that your issue with the pleated denim skirt might be the placement of the pleats. They should sit a bit higher in my opinion, it would look so much better if the pleats started from where the zipper ends or maybe 1 cm higher

yeah like whenever i don't feel confident or need a boost, i will "dress for my body type". then when i feel better and moe confident, i will just wear whatever you want. i think it's good to have both options. sometimes dressing in a flattering way to my body makes me feel better thus giving me confidence to later wear stuff that isn't flattering :3

As for the skirt in 1:30, it's hard to tell because the camera is angled down, but I'm wondering if it's just that the pleats start too low. I also have skirt like this, and when I tailored it for the pleats to start higher, it gave me the shape I was looking for.
