I find it funny how since the rivals concept was introduced in Vancouver, the Sonic rivals stayed consistent (Omega, Rouge, Jet, and Eggman Nega) while the Mario ones kept shifting. Vancouver had King Boo, Big Bullet Bill, Dry Bones, and Dry Bowser. London Wii replaced Bullet Bill with Birdo, and London 3DS replaced it with a Boo. Sochi replaces Dry Bones with Kamek. I will say, I do think Sochi had the best selection in terms of characters, since they all seem major instead of random minions

Of all the rivals to team up with, why would Rouge team up with Eggman Nega & Dry Bowser? She may be naughty sometimes but that doesn't make her a villain.
Birdo fight a bit underwhelming because of the new hockey gameplay. Kamek, definitely a fair fight but credit where credit is due at least Sega knew that using big bullet bill was not a smart idea, kinda a good reason to replace dry bones even though his fights on London was a better by a long shot than dealing with bullshit AI in curling. Jet interesting idea to try out the new mechanics of the game pad. King boo worst boss in this, is it me but I have a feeling that he has a rubber banding AI cause if blaze goes too far ahead he kinda came back too quickly. Omega definitely a fast paced fight like in the previous two games in one of the best dream events in this game. The villainous counterparts and Rouge, even though I think it would be better if Rouge was actually in the King boo fight and maybe have dry bones in the final fight since dry bowser still claims that the dry bones are his minions. Still awesome dream event, but to me I think King boo should have not been in this game. I feel like the 4th boss would’ve been a bit better if King boo wasn’t a boss in this game and if Rouge was the 4th boss instead to make it more fair.

There is one thing wrong with the final battle, the villain of these games is Dry Bowser, it’s supposed to be Team Dry Bowser, not Team Eggman Nega.
