Ehh simple. Mario characters are too nice to even had issues with them. Even Bowser beeing a villain at all is still kinda cute when it comes to his son and all of that. Shadow is an angsty ridden jackass, Silver is a dumb naive good guy, Blaze gives nos hit about anything whatsover,both Knuckles and Vector is dumb muscle and Jet is basically a asshole criminal. Of course not all are going to get along.
Honestly I never find any Mario character all that bad or evil. Bowser seemingly just kidnaps Peach due to being in love and just to spite Mario and never really does anything too crazy like killing. Wario and Waluigi are just a pair of goofballs that try to act tough and bad. With Sonic characters there is a lot more behind them in terms of personality and background.

There's something oddly cute with Metal Sonic and Bowser Jr.'s animation. I don't know if it's Metal Sonic stopping Bowser Jr.'s crazy jumping or the fact that he posed in sync with him, but I just wanna see more of them together. After all, they have quite a bit in common in terms of characters (both are enemies that have had games centered around them, they have both taken the role of main villain atleats once, both have technological knowledge, and both have iconic themes that have been remixed to hell and back).

To be honest, Blaze is much closer to Rosalina/Peach personality-wise than Daisy. She's more reserved and princess-like (which makes sense, since she is one). Daisy is much closer to Amy because of how both can act super excited and stuff.
I absolutely love the fact that Mario and Donkey Kong still have that 1981 rivalry shown in their victory animation also Bowser and Jr's animation was adorable, easily best dad of gaming Sonic and Eggmans animation was funny as well and I love the Knuckles Chaotix reference with Knuckles and Vector I just really love these in general

Underrated comment
To be honest, Blaze is much closer to Rosalina/Peach personality-wise than Daisy. She's more reserved and princess-like (which makes sense, since she is one). Daisy is much closer to Amy because of how both can act super excited and stuff.
