I'm 32 so we are pretty close in age and you are so correct about the lack or resources we had back in the late 2000's to the mid 2010's. No Fashion Nova, Shein, Online college classes, E-College Textbooks. If I would have had all of these things, I would been in a better position on my own. All of this stuff didn't exist until my late 20's.

I can relate to so much of what you shared in this video! I've also spent my 20's getting a degree, travelling, having multiple careers, learning about myself etc. However, I was also in a long term relationship for over a decade with a guy who was mentally ill but he was pretending to be ok and blaming me for all his issues. He used to say that I need a therapist, so one day I actually got one. Taking care of my mental health was one of the best decisions in my life.:)

Girl did we live the same life.. I’m listening to you laughing because I went through the same shit.. the dusties are like a carbon copy.. or is it all dusties have mental illness or narcissistic… my ex was diagnosed bi polar but we both didn’t know this the first three years we were together.. I knew something was off.. I thought he was narcissistic for sure.. and I acted like his mom and therapist and everything else right.. exactly like you said watching videos and treating him like a king and having high anxiety on trying to be everything he wanted.. mind you he’s not even that cute 😑🤦🏽♀️.. but anyway.. part of us breaking up was I couldn’t take him anymore, and of course everytime we would break up is when he would decide to “change” so he went to a therapist and was diagnosed bi-polar!
