    Founded in 1950 as London Festival Ballet by the great English Dancers Alicia Markova and Anton Dolin, English National Ballet has been at the forefront of ballet’s growth and evolution ever since.
    English National Ballet brings world class ballet to the widest possible audience through performances across the UK and on eminent international stages including The Bolshoi Theatre and Palais Garnier; its distinguished orchestra, English National Ballet Philharmonic; and being a UK leader in creative learning and engagement practice, building innovative partnerships to deliver flagship programmes such as English National Ballet’s Dance for Parkinson’s.
    Under the artistic directorship of Tamara Rojo CBE, English National Ballet has introduced ground-breaking new works to the Company’s repertoire whilst continuing to honour the tradition of great classical ballet, gaining acclaim for artistic excellence and creativity. 2019 saw English National Ballet enter a new chapter in its history with a move into a purpose-built state-of-the-art home in East London which brings a renewed commitment to, and freedom for, creativity, ambition, and connection to more people, near and far, than ever before.

    This is an exceptionally great teacher. The corrections she gives are marvelous, and the combinations are original and great preparation for dancing ballets. Of the dancers, the ballerina in the light leotard with flowered skirt is so gorgeous! What is the name of this amazing teacher? Beautiful choreography!

    the class is awesome. the person filming has NO CLUE ABOUT DANCERS.... why on earth did this person film people drinking water from very bad angles I as a dancer would hate to be seen at. why did this person NOT film the combinations the teacher was giving? why did this person film the side of a dancer doing a port de bra to the barre and not their feet so we can see what they are doing so in this wonderful world of covid we can take class with them??? obviously they had THREE cameras - at least give us three screens if you want to watch dancers drinking water, let us watch the teacher giving the combination!!!! this was an awesome class and if English National posted the video of the teacher giving the class it would be very very helpful to all of us. Love you guys, stay safe. NYC is finally opening and hopefully we can end zoom classes and you tube classes but now we know we can go all over the world in our studios to take other company classes!

      I agree so much. Here am I trying to dance along, and each combination is a teacher's muffled directions in a mask and visuals of the dancers standing around doing nothing. NOT HELPFUL.

    Hi, amazing. I was three years ago, a week taking classes there. It was wonderful. Impossible to forget. Very grateful for the treatment, since I went with my mother and they made her go to all the classes.
    Who's the teacher? I took classes with Pippa and Laura.
    Congratulations to all. Beautiful class.

      @@englishnationalballet Absolutely appalled that you have a class with masked dancers. There is no superior RTC science to back the efficacy of masks in broad, non-medical settings against viral transmission, and masks are little but POLITICAL masquerading as even admitted to by the WHO etc... Moreover, to restrict proper oxygen intake under normal circumstances has significant health repercussions, but to do so while EXERTING oneself such as in allegro work and simultaneously re-inhaling colonies of bacterial waste, and potentially, microscopic carcinogenic fibers is patently absurd and can induce long-term damage to the lungs, brain etc. if repeatedly done. Masking produces an unnatural, unhealthy stress on the body, adrenals etc. which in turn reduces proper immune function which has a whole cascade of ill effects. Furthermore, asymptomatic transmission has been soundly shown in prestigious (censored) studies to be extremely rare. What a tragedy that people don't think more critically of politically instigated pseudo-scientific, dark age Orwellian biology dictates and just blindly acquiesce to the "gospel of authority." Sorry, I love ballet and know how demanding the art is, but can't help but express my disappointment regarding the forementioned.

    It is so disappointing to notice how carelessly professional dancers place themselves in Ballet Classes specially done by great teachers such as Loipa Araujo. I hate to see this, from the deepest of my heart.

    Why are professionals allowed to get away with technical laziness?! Students would never get away with it...

    • @Jayjen35
      @Jayjen35 3 роки тому +15

      Because they are professionals that are just getting back into the studio. They are actually professionals and so understand where they are lacking and what they need to work on.
      Also, I'm sure that you know as professionals when they need to watch for chronic injuries or other difficulties that might come up. Class for working dancers is a bit different than those for students.
