For World Ballet Day we’ll be taking you behind the scenes at 12 noon (GMT). Company class, taught by ENB Repetiteur Laurent Guilbaud with music from Matthew Gregory, will be followed by a rehearsal with Mavin Khoo and company dancers as they work on scenes from Akram Khan’s Giselle.

Akram Khan's Giselle Act 1 is astounding .. so fixated on each move as the dance grows. The tribal music encourages to use all the space available. I love it 👍🏽

Watched all the "ballet days" that are posted here. French and Russian and Dutch and German, etc. English ballet seemed the simplest and most unfilled. Not classical. Yes, it was fun and the choreography is top notch. But it's not a ballet. If you break it down into its elements, it's weak. But it's good that you tried, thank you!
