Weirdly enough, I found out this actually heals more than just staying on heal. I don't know why, it's not intended for sure. But my god this is so funny to use
@@JimboLimboo My guess is each time you switch to heal it triggers a tick of healing, and you can switch off and back to heal faster than the natural tick rate of the heal effect
For anyone on console hold to toggle doesn’t work how I thought it would. If using the default toggle button (R2/RT) it switches modes on press and on release. So every time you press the trigger it switches and when u let go it switches again. This does make it faster than with it off but it will never be as fast as a scroll wheel. If you can spam your button fast enough I’d say it’s a similar speed of the old scroll wheel method with hold to toggle turned off like he showed in the beginning.
Don't do this on console, you'll be missing out on a lot of damage boost since you only "tap" the damage boost for a frame and the remainder of the frames are on health. However, do keep the hold to crossfade option, way easier to know whether you're healing or not! 😁
@@PatrickJr1502 because you only have damage boost on for one frame if you tap it really quickly, while with a scroll wheel you switch crossfade every frame. So on a scroll wheel you'd get 01010101 And on a controller it'd be 00000001, so to speak.
Wouldn’t it still be 010101 on controller because it’s not changing off of damage until you press the button again. Edit: I think I see what you mean, initially the release was acting as a button press but now it’s not a toggle.
Okay so I tested this about five times in training mode to see how the damage buff works when you set her ult to toggle, it's less functional at this speed than at normal speed with the scroll wheel. The allied bot that attacks normally takes 10 shots to kill the enemy bot in the range, using the buff with toggle on makes it take 9, turning off toggle and just alternating with the scroll wheel it takes 8 shots. Maybe 1 of the 5 tries with toggle the bot took 8 shots but the majority of the time it took 9. With standard alternating it consistently took 8 shots to kill every time I tried.
Honestly might be a hot take, but they should remove the damage portion of her ult. It’ll be an indirect buff to Rocket and differentiate the ults more. Cuz right now, hers is just better imo while also healing.
They should keep the dmg portion, but slow down the healing portion, so you are forced to be in healing mode longer to top people off. The whole splitting to healing for a split second is silly
the wakandan map can activate some sort of air vents on the ground from time to time, you can hold space bar to fly in them. You can look up more info on when does it activate and which specific map.
Bind your ult to scroll up *and* scroll down, then put the ult on hold to toggle. You then just move your scroll wheel up and down. It defaults to healing, but every time you scroll, it will shift to damage boost, and back to heal. It basically gives both damage boost and heal for the entire duration of the ultimate.
why not just make the ult heal & power boost, because they put the option in there knowing people would turn it on.... so why not just make it do both by default? not like it's a skill thing to hold ult button.
I think the intention was to have you choose between the two options depending on the situation. I feel like instead of giving both at once, they should make you commit harder to one of the two.
I don’t see the advantage of the toggle as u can’t get both healing and dmg boost at the same time would it not be better just to switch between them depending of the situation?
The ultimate heals faster this way, and *some* of the damage will be boosted. So you get better healing and some damage boost, which is strictly an upgrade. It heals better this way because everytime you switch back to the heal aura, it immediately gives a tick of healing, and you can shift to damage and back to heal faster than the ultimate normally ticks for healing.

Maybe the standard timing of health bursts isn’t as fast as spamming between the two modes and receiving that one initial health burst over and over.
It actually heals less
@@-8h- no we tested it, necros has two clips showcasing this. It heals more.

its kinda pointless cause then her ult would be pretty much since like mantis minus the armor part
Rocket also has a revive and armor/jump boost packs, it's about the entirety of the kit
