Being a UA-camr is definitely a tough sport. Especially if you want to be popular and make decent money out of it (but using a lot of famester makes everything a lot easier).
We love food just subscribed to your channel. If you ever want to listen to a book, I have a few books on my UA-cam channel. Maybe one day we could Collab with our food and books or something that would be cool. Thank you for the encouragement.
I was pretty discouraged when I didn't get any subs after a month of posting good content. But I stuck with it, kept my uploading consistent, followed the tips from these types of channels, and I gained 19 subs in the last 28 days. Point is, it CAN be done, but you have to ignore that inner monologue that tells you to quit.
I started my channel 2 months ago and boy was I HUMBLED😂 but my goal for 2025 is to get monetized - I’ll be taking the same consistency and discipline that I have built over a year of posting on short form IG and learn to apply that here. Dear Lord Jesus, I thank you for the 54 subscribers I have now and hope to get millions soon🙏 As soon as I finished thanking God, I checked and see 57 I'm so grateful, I didn't knew that the Lord was ahead of me 🙏.
As an outdoor, Jeep, and maintenance How-to creator, I actually did notice a significant increase in views being a 276 subscriber creator. That said, I did start adding hashtags, making better video descriptions, and making my video file name the same as the eventual video title. I’ve also paid attention to my view counts and working on sharing to social media regularly, even if it’s the same video for weeks to try to get to 1,000 views each which should get even more attention by someone casually looking at videos in their feed. The thinking is it lends credibility to the value of the video with that person thinking, well others find it interesting so maybe I’ll check it out too!
As a small UA-cam channel I experienced rather a decline in the number of views that I get especially for my shorts because I can’t grab UA-cam’s algorithm, even though I followed your tips (it does not show my shorts on people’s feeds)… How can I re-enter UA-cam’s algorithm ? Thank you for your videos, I like how concise and easy to understand you make them !
Had a 7 sub channel with zero views on their last 4 uploads!! But, with content I was interested in. Love it. Plus, 4 weeks since launch and 800 subs, 5k views on my first video and 1300 hours so far watched!!! Yeah, I started a new niche at the right time. about to go twice weekly as requested by my audience, happy days. Will give Nexusclips a go after Xmas. Cracking tips this week Dan, just so to the point and with no fluff. Thanks Oh yeah, maybe that Im in the solo van life and mindfulness niche really helps.
I keep growing my small Travel channel but it's hard to fight with all the AI made videos, especially on travel cuz there's a MILLION of them. I hope to reach 1000 subscribers soon but getting the 4000 watch hours mark is gonna be hard man

Got shorts with little to no views after having shorts with 300 views on average. It was demoralizing for sure. But I kept going. Now I have a short with 1k views. Learn from your lows and improve. Have a great day y’all
To answer the question you asked on the pinned comment I would say that my goal for 2025 would be to grow to perhaps 1000 subs. I do entertaining tech reviews and some comedy, and with my tech reviews I would like to make my videos more authentic and unscripted. It would be awesome to get companies to send me free products to review (I've already got one small company to send me a camera) Thanks for the helpful videos!
Thanks for the advice! I've quickly learned to pivot as soon as the videos aren't performing the way that I imagined. Some of the least effort vids out perform the vids that I think will pop off. Just bet on yourself and we will get there one day! Wishing you all a good holiday season!
All small UA-camrs, I've been having a problem where I'm so stressed about how a video will do very early on. I'm very aware of it and I check it every 20 minutes. Don't do this PLEASE. It's not fun and you are unlikely to grow that fast anyways. Please, give your videos some time, it really helps you.

I think one reason why UA-cam is pushing small channels might be because when they're not monetized yet UA-cam gets all the money from the adds.

I really really like strategy number-2: personal growth development niche. Man it’s me all day!! I’m introvert and doing the “Building” journey growth method works soooo well for me. I just want to share my growth and journey along my way and yes, gain subscribers + monetization of course is my end goal. I sew., and I LOVE sharing/documenting the journey of what I create. Got shorts with little to no views after having shorts with 300 views on average. It was demoralizing for sure. But I kept going. Now I have a short with 1k views. Learn from your lows and improve. Have a great day y’all

To answer the question you asked on the pinned comment I would say that my goal for 2025 would be to grow to perhaps 1000 subs. I do entertaining tech reviews and some comedy, and with my tech reviews I would like to make my videos more authentic and unscripted. It would be awesome to get companies to send me free products to review (I've already got one small company to send me a camera) Thanks for the helpful videos!

Thanks for the advice! I've quickly learned to pivot as soon as the videos aren't performing the way that I imagined. Some of the least effort vids out perform the vids that I think will pop off. Just bet on yourself and we will get there one day! Wishing you all a good holiday season!

All small UA-camrs, I've been having a problem where I'm so stressed about how a video will do very early on. I'm very aware of it and I check it every 20 minutes. Don't do this PLEASE. It's not fun and you are unlikely to grow that fast anyways. Please, give your videos some time, it really helps you.
