Thomas has created the worlds best pokemon collection of Pikachu i have ever seen. (Obviously Ando would make this video, only one of the biggest pokemon fans)
Great video Ando!!! This is an insane amount of pikachus! My favorite one is Probably the error pikachu’s! 10:50 there just so amazing!! I’m guessing this box was worth around $15,000? Have a great day everyone!!!
Pokémon is one of the most successful and enduring franchises in the world of video games and pop culture. At the center of this franchise is Pikachu, a cute and charismatic electric-type Pokémon that has become one of the most beloved characters in the series. Despite the introduction of numerous other Pokémon over the years, Pikachu's popularity has endured. Fans continue to love the character for its distinctive look, personality, and abilities, and it remains a ubiquitous presence in the world of Pokémon merchandise and media. So, what is the secret to Pikachu's enduring popularity, and what does the future hold for the character and the Pokémon franchise as a whole? One factor that has undoubtedly contributed to Pikachu's success is its distinctive design. With its bright yellow fur, red cheeks, and lightning bolt tail, Pikachu is instantly recognizable and memorable. Its rounded, cuddly appearance also gives it an approachable and friendly personality that makes it easy to love. Another factor that sets Pikachu apart from other Pokémon is its extensive media presence. In addition to appearing in all of the mainline Pokémon games, Pikachu has also been the star of numerous spinoff games, TV shows, movies, and other media. This exposure has helped to cement the character's place in the hearts and minds of fans around the world. Of course, Pikachu's popularity is not without its challenges. As newer Pokémon are introduced and the franchise evolves, there is a risk that Pikachu could become stale or overshadowed by other characters. One way that the Pokémon franchise is addressing this challenge is through the introduction of new and exciting characters like Lucario. With its unique aura-based powers and martial arts-inspired design, Lucario has quickly become a fan favorite and has helped to keep the series feeling fresh and exciting. At the same time, developers are also tweaking and updating Pikachu's abilities and appearance to ensure that the character remains relevant and engaging. For example, recent games have introduced new forms of Pikachu, such as the surfing Pikachu and the detective Pikachu, which give fans new ways to interact with the character. Despite the rise of other Pokémon, however, Pikachu remains a beloved and iconic figure in the world of pop culture. Its nostalgic appeal, distinctive design, and extensive media presence ensure that it will continue to be a fan favorite for generations to come. To ensure that Pikachu remains a relevant and engaging character in the years ahead, the Pokémon franchise will need to continue to innovate and evolve. This could involve the release of more games and media that feature Pikachu in a prominent role, as well as the introduction of new gameplay mechanics and storylines that keep the series feeling fresh and exciting. At the same time, the franchise will also need to continue to leverage the power of nostalgia to keep fans engaged and invested in the series. As long as Pikachu continues to serve as a symbol of fans' childhoods and early experiences with the Pokémon franchise, it will remain a beloved and enduring part of popular culture. In the end, the future of Pikachu's popularity and the Pokémon franchise as a whole is largely in the hands of those involved in the development of the series. By continuing to innovate and evolve, and by tapping into the nostalgia and affection that fans have for the characters and world of Pokémon, they can ensure that the franchise remains a beloved and enduring part of pop culture for years to come.
This is my ultimate Pokémon goal! I’ve been working on a Pikachu binder. It’s definitely not as impressive though because I don’t want to spend tons of money on a single card. I’m going to get there eventually!
Does anyone here even remember about Pikachu having a black-tipped tail? I swear the Pokémon cards used to show this feature of him a very long time ago, and so many other people have a recollection about this too. It just looks very incomplete and strange to me that he has a plain brown and yellow tail, but it might not be the same for people who have only seen him this way. It is bizarre that there is no clear evidence of his tail having a black tip when retracing back to the PHYSICAL CARDS! There is absolutely no way they could have altered his appearance on every single card, as that’s just impossible. I get they can change what he looks like digitally, but being able to change every card that was printed out is just very peculiar! This entire phenomenon is just excused to be a Mandela effect, which is when a large mass of people have a false memory about an event or thing that never actually ceased to exist. This can really confuse people as it messes with their ability to trust in their own memories, they question reality, and it can actually lead them to believe they are living in a simulation. Some other Mandela effects include: Curious George having a tail when he supposedly never did, Mickey Mouse having suspenders (straps worn over the shoulders) on his red shorts when he seemingly did not, and the well known animated franchise of short films being remembered as Looney Toons when it apparently is Looney Tunes etc.. You could even search all of this up for yourself if you really want to. The Mandela effect is just a really terrifying subject in my opinion. I really don’t understand how so many people can have the same memory over the same thing but it never existed. I still don’t believe it’s just a Mandela effect. It could be something bigger than that, I don’t even know. Thanks for reading this far if you have. I really don’t expect many people to be seeing this comment, so if you are one of the few, I really want to know if you also recall Pikachu having a black-tipped tail too!
I honestly love collections like this, where it’s a specific pokemon, it feels way more personal and I love to see them! I personally collect all Type: Null and Silvally cards!
Pikachu, the beloved Pokémon so bright Dons a Charizard poncho in the stormy night The rain pours down in sheets so wild But Pikachu is happy, he's like a child With a flash of lightning, he runs and plays Splashing in puddles, in such happy ways The Charizard poncho keeps him dry and warm As he jumps and skips in his natural form Thunder rolls and echoes through the sky But Pikachu's joy cannot be denied For he's free to be himself, to laugh and shout Without a care, he hops about The storm may rage on, but Pikachu's at peace In his Charizard poncho, his joy will never cease So let the rain fall and the winds blow Pikachu's happiness will always glow
Thanks for being so kind and approachable at the Collectacon yesterday! It was refreshing to meet you, and I hoped you did get to enjoy Florida a little.
Hey buddy just wanted to say my son and I were so happy to meet you by chance at the doors coming into the collecticon on the second day. He couldn't stop talking about it and kept saying he wished he would've brought his cards to trade with you lol. But it was a pleasure sir please keep up the awesome content and being an awesome dude. 🙂
This video was such a throwback I've been watching your vids since for years and my fav part was always your energy and big chunk a Choo in the older unlistedleaf room, I also miss the po box openings especially the amazing cards I got to see, seeing this pikachu collection brought back all the memories, I'm guessing the mystery box was just under 9000 dollars. Great video can't wait for the next
Hey Ando, I have a similar collection with every single Charizard ever printed (English and Japanese) as well as a colleciton of every single Haunter. I'm located near Toronto. Let me know if you'd ever wanna film the collection!
I actually made a trade recently to get surfing pikachu v and come to find out it’s an error card. The emboss/glass layer is completely misaligned with the rest of the printing. I have started building a Pikaclone family collection and to now have an error is fun.
I must admit the fact that you flew though cyclone gabriel just to get to New Zealand is amazing it must have been such a bumpy flight since cyclone gabriel was so strong and living in NZ i got to see just how devstating it was. So good on you Ando. My guess the mystery box is probaly around 500K - 600K
Almost but not every card out there; its especially difficult to obtain the limited-print Pikachu Promo cards that were distributed over a decade ago. Especially the championship (top 1-3 players) card.
I am a massive Pikachu fan. But I must admit my Pikachu collection doesn't come near to his. I would rate 30k for that box value but then again the value isn't the main focus but the dedication to collecting anything Pikachu related!!!
There is a market for error printed cards, there's a page for it. I once got offered 60 USD on a half cut crimped eevee vmax promo from shining fates. I reckon the mystery box is worth at least 2k.
Really cool collection there and it’s just surprising how popular Pikachu is all over the world even if you aren’t very knowledgeable on Pokémon you would to probably recognize Pikachu. And I think his collection is around 20 - 30 thousand dollars.
This video just made me realize how weird I am when it comes right grading lol I don’t like jumbo cards, and PSA labels bore me….but that jumbo pikachu looked sick in a PSA case 😂
I just found a Pokemon collection in a storage unit we won at an auction. Tons of 2005 ex cards, base set holos, all that stuff. I got two base set holo Charizards which was cool, it was an old collection, there wasn't anything new in there. Kinda got me back into Pokemon again
Thanks for coming to NZ Ando!! So cool, and also flying through cyclone Gabbie to get here 😂 Thomas's collection wow so inspiring! Massive guess at the total, $19,500?
Wow. That binder is leaps and bounds far more thorough than my Pikachu binder, but I am stoked to see I do have english Pikachus in mine that are missing from his

this pikachu mystery box had to be price between 9-10 thousand AUD due to all the graded and promo cards especially the more rare/vintage cars
Awesome video like always Ando! I’m guessing the box you both were opening was worth $15k?
Same

Thomas is such a cool dude! And I think the mystery box worth 5,000
Hey Ando, I have a similar collection with every single Charizard ever printed (English and Japanese) as well as a colleciton of every single Haunter. I'm located near Toronto. Let me know if you'd ever wanna film the collection!

The pikachu cards are insane, I have always wanted to open a mystery box
I actually made a trade recently to get surfing pikachu v and come to find out it’s an error card. The emboss/glass layer is completely misaligned with the rest of the printing. I have started building a Pikaclone family collection and to now have an error is fun.
that collection was fire man
Did you like your trip 😮😮😮 ?
You a mad man Ando! Been watching since 2016, keep it up bro!
@Mr_unlistedleaf you are not the real UnlistedLeaf so leave me alone
@Mr_unlistedleaf why
That is awesome - nice one, Tomas! Stoked you made the most of it while you were in NZ. We'll have to do something when you're next over!
This collection is so epic!!! I'm guessing the box would be around 25k
That is definitely a really insane Pikachu collection. Thank you for sharing!!
Thanks for watching!
It was so nice to meet you at Collect a Con in Orlando this weekend!!!! Thank you for being super cool to my kid!
I’m so happy that a famous Poketuber came to NZ!🎉🎉
I just started my Pokémon collection and I am collecting Pikachus! ❤
That is one awesome collection! I think it’s worth around like 30k I would say considering the error cards are quite rare
What a MONSTER PIKA collection!! Way to go Ando!
Those are some phenomenal Pikachu carde.
Wow Thomas has a crazy Pikachu collection. The error cards are really something special
I feel think that costed a solid 15k
Almost but not every card out there; its especially difficult to obtain the limited-print Pikachu Promo cards that were distributed over a decade ago.
Especially the championship (top 1-3 players) card.
I’m going to say the mystery box was 6300$
I'm so glad you landed safely and was able to drive around. We got hit pretty hard with the cyclone. Love all the pikachus! Yay Thomas!
If I was pikachu, I would use all pikachu moves and those new/old abilities to activate and attack!
Sounds good?!❤
The best pokemon is Pikachu ❤
I think the box was $8,500 AUS dollars
Best Pikachu collection i have ever seen, must be 33k no doubt!
I am a massive Pikachu fan. But I must admit my Pikachu collection doesn't come near to his. I would rate 30k for that box value but then again the value isn't the main focus but the dedication to collecting anything Pikachu related!!!
Pikachu is the Boss. Loved seeing this collection. I'm guessing 15.500
All the error cards are ridiculously cool, it's crazy to see them all together ⚡️⚡️⚡️ must cost at least 30k. So many bangers
Yo, how many Pikachus have you got there?? OMG
That was insanely cool to see how much a whole collection of just one pokemon, actually dedicated. Would guess around 19k for the boxes.
There is a market for error printed cards, there's a page for it. I once got offered 60 USD on a half cut crimped eevee vmax promo from shining fates. I reckon the mystery box is worth at least 2k.
I like how PokeRev is unsponsored
Hey Ando! I went to the Collect a Con!!!
Really cool collection there and it’s just surprising how popular Pikachu is all over the world even if you aren’t very knowledgeable on Pokémon you would to probably recognize Pikachu. And I think his collection is around 20 - 30 thousand dollars.
I’m guessing around $32.5k
This collection is just legendary. I'm guessing the box would be 27.5K or around that
It was a treat to watch this Pikachu special collection video ❤️
Wow that is actually awesome! Hopefully one day I can amass a collection like this to show my viewers!
That collection is insane! Thanks for posting Ando. Most people don't understand the work that goes into just one video. Thank you!!!

This video just made me realize how weird I am when it comes right grading lol I don’t like jumbo cards, and PSA labels bore me….but that jumbo pikachu looked sick in a PSA case 😂

That's one crazy Pikachu collection. My guess would be 18,000.
My guess is the mystery box is at around 1450$
Where do i get that beautiful Pikachu sticker? 0:18
I had an awesome time at collect a con this weekend! I hope you did too! I’m guessing this collection is worth about $10k to $15k.
It’s hard to put a price on errors but I’d say around $1000- $2000 but including the binder and graded cards at least $10000
That’s a super cool pikachu collection! Can’t imagine how to get all of those cards.
Wow. That binder is leaps and bounds far more thorough than my Pikachu binder, but I am stoked to see I do have english Pikachus in mine that are missing from his
What ones!?
@@UnlistedLeaf I’ll have to watch it again but first one I noticed was an e series promo
Wow these cards are amazing 🤩
When he said:
Do you smell that guys love is in the air
