You might want to explain the difference of the LCi1 and LCi2 and pro. I would recommend the LCi2 for this type of install using a factory deck. The LCi2 has Accubass which compensates for factory system bass roll off. most factory systems roll the bass off at higher volumes to save speakers. The LCi1 and other non active LOC's will not compensate therefore, will only emulate the signal coming in.
i have 2021 camry , do i get a LOC? i only have a sub and amp connected but the sub doesn’t really move how it’s supposed to , i have stock headunit what do you recommend?
Thinking about one of these for my 2020 grand Cherokee with factory Alpine with factory sub. I’m using a cheaper line out and tapping off both voice coils at the factory sub plug for both pos and negatives. Should I connect to fuller range speakers as in front doors then adjust my amp down to 80hz or lower for example? Thank you sir
Man. I had a skar evl 12 in an impala with an aftermarket stereo. Traded it in for a Chrysler 300 and used one of these. Now, the amp gets super hot and goes into protect mode all the time. Sounds like crap compared to when it was in the impala. Not near as loud and just totally muddy. Theres gota be another way. Might just go with the Phoenix Tesla screen. Mabe that has an eq rather than just bass, mid, and treble too.
Hey I got the factory bose on my 21 denali. I know from.gm they come with added factory subwoofer as an optio.. Would it be best to tap into.the subwoofer signal when using this for subwoofers?
I appreciate your knowledge and content and I'm hoping you're familiar with my situation. I've been running two American Bass Elites on a Marts Digital 3k. I'm using the factory premium system so I added the LC2I. I tapped into the two sets of speaker wires going to my factory sub. I also have a 74Ah lithium battery to run the system and the big three upgrade. While playing an extremely bassy song, the system cut out at the first bass hit. I changed all fuses but nothing. The LC2I is not powering on so the amp is not powering on. When I wiggle the connections on the Lc2i sometimes the maximize light blinks on and off. Any thoughts on what the problem could be? My amps gain is set almost to zero.
@pmo1825 Yeah. I was only getting about 5 volts to both the amp and loc from my lithium battery. I bought a new loc and still no power. I think my amp is blown
Hopefully you read this, but i used a multimeter on my remote out to turn on my bass amp and its reading under 11 volts. Its recieving 12v too but wont put out the 12v for the amp to turn on, any idea?
@@6.4_julian47 I’ve called Audio places and they said as long as there’s separate channels you can. Mine says “Main L and R” and “Bass L and R” so I can use both
How's it going sir I hope you can help me out I have a 2014 Mazda CX 5 with the Bose stereo system I have a subwoofer and built in amp what output converter
Question for you, do you have to run both left and right sides to the lc2 or will one side work? I have already tapped into my left but my sound wasn't the greatest so I bought this to see if it would help. I just don't want to tear apart the right side if I don't have to lol
@Jesus Lopez I ran a jumper wire from the left side to the right side and I didn't really tell a difference. I think I might have to tear out the right side and run a new set of wires. I don't want to but if that is what I need to do then that's what I will do.
What I did was jump the wires (speaker terminals) from left positive to right positive and left negative to right negative and make a pig tail coming out of the pos/neg right terminals that I just jumped from the left and connect those two pig tails to my main. Speaker, worked out fine.
Hey I like your video...I have a question for you...I have a audi s3 2016..can you please help me with the installation of a lc2i and what speaker I can tapping to for signal. Thanks
if you havent found the answer yet: A lot of factory systems cut bass (completely out) to the rear speakers. Also, getting wires through the door jams or trying to find the corresponding wire elsewhere (not behind the radio) can be a little difficult
I had a homeboy that tapped the speaker wire straight from the back speakers and it worked
Because I have a charger and the battery is in the back

You've explained it as well as the best of them. Thank you for speaking concisely.
Bro.. so I was just searching how to hook one of these up.. and sure enough.. u got the same ride.. could t have been better .. good look
Easy to follow along and understand. Thanks for posting these videos.
Well this helped me out alot cause i just got my 22 this year n haven't installed anything yet scared i was gonna mess up something but thanks bro
glad the video helped you out
22 what
Should've showed how you added the amp. Thats where I'm stuck at on mine.
Same here.
awesome video pal. With amps that can take speaker level inputs would you still need a Line out converter?
Quick question. Why didnt you run the power ground and remote wire from the lc2i to the wire harness connectors from the radio?
How to hook up my lc2i pro in a 2022 dodge durango gt or could you tell me the wires to use in my back doors

How do you connect the amp to the lc2i?? Everything else in this video is great info
you connect the lc2i to the amp using your rca cable just make sure you match up left and right 🔊
So once u connect the RCA from lc2 to your amp. Do I still need to run speaker wires from the amp to the speakers

Did you check the 12 volt voltage coming into the LCi ? also needs a good ground

Did you have the car running at the final testing when the subwoofer was on?
I have a 2013 Jetta with the Fender system and sub in the back, I heard I can tap into the Sub line in the trunk is that correct?

What size ferrules did you use

I need speakers colors/wire diagram for VW Jetta 2016 jetta
Can you power off the power wire to the Amplifier?
It’ll turn off when power to the head units speakers turns on. Aka turning off vehicle
Can you use both pairs of RcA outputs at the same exact time? I wanna install door speakers and an amp with my existing 2 channel LOC
I have the same question let me know if you figured it out?

Can you run power off the amp wires if your putting it in the back ?
yes for the ground and power you can run the wires from the lc2i to the amp power and ground

What about remote in?
Do you have a speaker installation for this car coming?
If u have 2 amps one for a sub and one for the door speakers I have a matrix and a LCi2 should I buy a LCi7?
Do you have factory radio?
Hey I like your video...I have a question for you...I have a audi s3 2016..can you please help me with the installation of a lc2i and what speaker I can tapping to for signal. Thanks
Came here for that Q
Why cant you just splice in to the rear speakers instead of right behind the head unit? Then you don't have to run wires that far to the LC2i?
You can
You can and much easier than running wires through your vehicle
Because factory systems turn bass output lower as you turn up the volume. That’s the whole reason the LC2i exists.
@@mikeyis009 you miss the point of the question

Which wires did you use from radio to lc2i
Did you ever figure this out? Installing an loc soon and need to know what wires to tap
I think I'll just pay someone to do this I just don't understand this
common bro, your doing a “how to install” and it’s not even complete to how actually connect the device
