- One looooong fluid combo, no hits taken.
I won't lie it took alotta takes to get this. Was seriously tired when I finally got it down so I was evading more than I normally do. Not a perfect run but I had fun doing it.

I've got just such a video up now m8. Not as good with Deathstroke I'm afraid, but he is a lot of fun :)
Evade should be used as a way to get out of tight situations, watching someone using it constantly really just makes me crazy....even with counter icons, you should be fine without constant use of a get out of jail button.
I agree m8. Normally I don't use it so much but it was 3am when I recorded this and I just wanted to get it done! Also a lot of people don't realise evade should be used to keep a nice rhythm going and to keep enemies close enough to guarantee you can keep the combo alive. I see people just leaping to attack enemies on different sides of the map and sooner or later the combo fails because you're too far away to target anyone automatically.
Most of the time I use it to put myself where I need to be for the next stage of the combo. I see the armoured guy coming at 0:43, so I use evade to have a clear line of sight to him. At 1:04 I use it to evade a slashing animation that has already started and so can't always be countered but can sometime still hit. At 1:53 I use it to ensure the shield guy is the target of disarm and destroy. At 2:17 I evade so I have an unobstructed line to the Ninja so I can take her down straight away. At 5:28 I see the guy with the chair, evade to my left so I'm too far for him to throw it and so I'm facing him for a quickfire multi batarang. I use the takedown animation at 4:10 as a window to activate my shock gloves. I use the double counter animation at 0:11 to guarantee I have to two targets for explosive gel. Very little of what I do is random.
I admit hands down that at 06:30 when I see the Martial Artist coming I do use the "get out of jail technique" as you say, but the panicky uses of evade are far outweighed by the tactical ones. All the same, I do appreciate the feedback. Lemme know if you put any Arkham videos up :)
