- One of the simplest songs to play along with, but also one of the most rewarding. I'm no Nick McCabe, but I've taken bits from the Urban Hymns recording, the live version from Haigh Hall, and I've added a few licks of my own.
You’re the only person i know who has attempted the solo as part of the cover. Great job.
Amazing!
Your ability to pick and choose which riffs you want to play (from the recorded or live versions) is really the essence of what makes the Verve and NickMcCabe so special.
Out with the cookie-cutter guitar; In with drizzled riffs... It's more about how you feel...
03:17 - 03:57 more incredible..
03:58 - 04:34 best Song ending ever 😇🙏🤘
Great bit of guitaring and very helpfull, well done. Sorry its 9 years after you posted it :-)
best song ever, with so much meaning to it
2:10 - 2:53 is incredible.
Fantastic playing underrated solo keep rocking
Just figured it out. I kept trying to find tabs online but had no luck. Most people didn't have the basic chord sequence right, so I decided to put it up here in the hope that other guitarists could figure out what I'm doing and do the rest themslves. It's not exactly what McCabe plays on the album, but he never plays the same thing twice anyway!
Many thanks for your comments so far all. Please keep 'em coming.
Fantastic playing buddy
Many thanks mate.
Fuck yeah :-)
Mano hace un mini tutorial del solo plis
Many thanks mate.
brilhante...muito show
escuchando desde Argentina
FUCKING Legendary!
I've added annotations. If the tab at the end is out of allignment, just change the viewing window to the smaller size and that should sort it.
useful dude! awesome! :D
You should try "Come On" from the same album
great to watch/hear a great rendition to an awesome tune and of course an outstanding guitar player as Mr. Nick MaCABE, Fuck that Johnny greenwoods pretentious shit, this is pure fucking soul.
ROCK
Pacifica, good man, I have 3, great guitars
Appreciate that mate. And I'm sure you will :)
hey that's me in the video I have those birthmarks on my forearms
@sportsportsport to be honest mate I can't remember. I don't have this particular effects pedal anymore so I can't check either. Sorry 'bout that, but appreciate you being curious enough to ask :)
what pedals and effects would you need to play like mccabe? i need this for a project please respond
Lo siento, pero no tengo nada que yo pueda enviar. Pero gracias por tu interés.
Can You make a video of the rolling people?
Hi Martin. I'm afraid I'm incredibly rusty on lead guitar these days, as I now play bass and acoustic most of the time. Thanks so much for your interest though. Take care.
@@JonnyBauer thanks
you got some compression and chorus on that?
hola me gustaría que me pasaras o facilitaras por favor los tab de la canción!
Awesome dude, do u have the tabs?
I'm sorry mate but I don't. Pretty sure you can buy an official tab book though. I learned to play guitar through tab books to Radiohead's first three albums 👍
What's up bro, do you know why the annotations don't appear to me? or I don't know if you've got to do the tabs, I'd appreciate it if you passed them on, excellent cover :)
Hi mate. Thank you for your kind words.
I've no idea where the annotations aren't working tbh, but I'm experiencing the same thing. I can only assume UA-cam changed something that got rid of them. I'll look into re-adding them ASAP, but I can't say when I'll have the spare time I'm afraid.
Thanks again for taking the time to leave a comment :)
@@JonnyBauer Thank you bro :)
how did u learn this ?
NO TIENES LOS TAB ?
@chidoTV I appreciate that mate, but I'm assure you you'll equal and most likely surpass me, probably sooner than you think :)
tutorial or tab?
Sorry mate got nothing like that. When I first uploaded this I used the annotation system that was in place at the time to explain what I was doing, but they don't exist anymore I'm afraid.
