BEST ⭐ POP ⭐ MUSIC ⭐ EVER! Agnetha and Frida giving us the 'third voice' of ABBA is something out of this world. Individually they are both tremendous performers too... Try 'SOS' or 'Money money money'. See you soon ✌️ Greetings ❤ from Chile 🇨🇱🤗👍
ABBA super group of the 70's with a huge legacy of pop classics. Story telling is a common theme along with more light-hearted lyrics and darker lyrics usually hidden behind catchy upbeat tempos. Well worth a deep dive. For a completely different ABBA vibe may I suggest "SOS" 1975 TV performance so you get to see them on stage as a group.
so happy to see you with reactions to ABBA songs (I think is the first time) "Fernando" (1976) is a soft ballad, so nice and beautiful The best is the beauty of their vocal harmonies, very soft at the whisper level but at a level of perfection, that explodes in a magic chorus ABBA was the biggest group in Europe in 70s decade They had already recorded "Dancing Queen" and it came from the success of "Mamma Mía" It was their manager who convinced them to record "Fernando" so as not to repeat the style The manager was right and everything was a success, one after another in that year 1976, with three singles #1 consecutives in UK Mamma Mía (2 weeks) Fernando (4 weeks) Dancing Queen (6 weeks) In addition, this variety of options had different results in each country. "Fernando" was a colossal success in Australia (14 weeks at #1 surpassed the "Hey Jude" mark) and 7 weeks at #1 in Germany "Dancing Queen" was 14 weeks #1 in Sweden and 6 weeks #1 in the U.K.and 8 weeks #1 in Australia Both were #1 in the U.S. but in various rankings: "Dancing Queen" on the Billboard and "Fernando" on Adult Contemporary The official video of "Fernando" was filmed in February 1976, with Dancing Queen the next day in these Official Video you could see: Bjorn & Benny, both in guitars Frida & Agnetha confronted both in frontal and profile images (repeating "Mamma Mia" technique used) premiering her gypsy style dress For a next reaction, my suggestion is "Dancing Queen." (1976), the biggest worldwide hit to ABBA or "Waterloo" (1974) the first worldwide hit to ABBA specialy these last one was the iconic song that gives ABBA the victory in Eurovisión 1974 and last weeks was their 50th anniversary and several countries if Europe gives homenages to ABBA Thanks so much for these video and reaction I wish you a great weekend See you in the next My best regards from Buenos Aires Argentina 🇦🇷 South America
The revolution doesn't start in this song, it has ended long ago. It's about two old freedom-fighters who are reminiscing about the Mexican revolution or the American-Mexican war.
This song is an hymn from the '70s.In Australia was also No1 for 14 weeks. And this isn't the only one by them.ABBA is a super group plus pop culture phenomenon. They are a legacy act.Btw i guess you are from the US?
Great reaction, fellas. It's always fun to see someone with no preconceived ideas about ABBA hearing them for the first time. Pretty much all their songs have catchy hooks and feature those insanely angelic vocals... and yet ABBA tracks are all very different, ranging from party anthems to heart-wrenching breakup songs. Would be great to see you guys do some more!
ABBA are the biggest selling group worldwide after the Beatles. They comprise of two couples and originate from Sweden. they came to fame when they were the first group to win the Eurovision Song Contest. They then contined to produce hit after hit until 1982 eventually going their seperate ways after two divorces some years earlier. This was their biggest worldwide hit because it not only went to number one in many countries on its first release it then shot back to number one in lots of Spanish speaking countries when it was part of a Spanish album they did 2 years later. Essentially a pop group no two ABBA songs sound the same. Here in the Uk they had 9 number 1 singles and 8 number 1 studio albums plus other greatest hits and compilations. Please do moe ABBA you wont be disappointed
ABBA always has a super hook in their songs. Listen and react to their first great hit. WATERLOO It is a completely different sound but the same great voices .
You are right. They are not the 5th Dimension. Although that is a great vocal group too. They are one of the top selling groups in recording history. 8 years of hit after hit. And still are selling millions of records today. A couple years ago they released and Album after a 40 year break. And it broke records in sales. They have Mama Mia, the Musical. Two movies of Mama Mia. And their own Arena in London that does a whole show with them as Holograms. Has been sold out for 2 years. Is funny you have never heard of them.
It’s about the US invasion to Mexico when the US took , away 60% of our territory , Owe Sandström, ABBA’s out if it’s designer told me the dresses they wear here were inspired in indigineous typical dresses

For a next reaction, my suggestion is
"Dancing Queen." (1976),
the biggest worldwide hit to ABBA
or "Waterloo" (1974)
the first worldwide hit to ABBA
specialy these last one was the iconic song that gives ABBA the victory in Eurovisión 1974

ABBA goes politics - smooth and harmless. Good one.
