Lauryn thank you. Your tips for game shooting dry mounting with the flashlight is brilliant. I am concerned that my arm muscles are quite inadequate against yours, but I can still lift the gun!!! Thanks A
I would say in my efforts to find help with DTL , these recommendations/drills at home make enormous sense. I very much like the idea of learning to mount the gun to the shoulder and cheek once you’ve called for the bird . I find mounting the gun and then calling for the bird , causes me to have insufficient field of vision as I still guessing the flight of the bird from the house - other than from spot 3 . Sincerely thank you , I going to try these recommendations
Thanks for the video. I've known about the flashlight/laser drills for a while but always thought that I had to find something that'd fit into the muzzle end. Seeing that you've taped them to the side was on of those "DUH why did'nt I think of just doing that"! Thanks again.
Awesome tips for training, especially since we cannot outside at the moment. Just wondering would you guys have a PDF of the trap layout with targets plus the lead that you show towards the start of your vid? Would be great to so that I could print it out.
thank you for making these videos they are great. I am new to olympic skeet and was wondering about setting doing some dry firing in my garage. do you have some demotions for the flight line of the clay? I think its the same as international skeet. thank you for your help .
WOW. Very nice tips. Would you mind to tell us the size of the wall map and the distance between the map and the shooter position? It would help me a lot to make my own wall map. Thanks a lot for the tips.
Thank you. Great training videos. Learning so much from your channel. Pro shooter with a Pro Physique. Super impressive with everything you do. Beautiful all around look, amazing hard body and ripped lean trained conditioning. I'm sure many people could benefit from a weight training video as well. Go for it and keep up the hard work.... :)
We are not fans of snap caps. Too many accidents from people who think they are loading snap caps instead load a live round. We will take our chance that the springs won't break
Let me ask if I may.I'm rite eye dominant and when I mount a gun, sometimes I see the left side of the berrel. Is it normal, gun does not fit me properly or I'm not consistant in mounting?
Please study the video " Changing your adjustable stock " and " Canting the shotgun # 13" from Go Shooting. I hope you will get the answer. Also check the cast of your stock, if it is on the left side of barrel rib looking from stock end than it is for left hand shooter.
It is for rite-hand and fixed stock. And yet, do you think that it might be due to improper mounting of the gun? 90 pecent of mounting that I do, it fits me well and rest 10 percent I see end of the berrel from the left side.
If you look at the barrel you most certainly can see down the side. The trick is to see the end of your barrel in your forevision and keep your focus only on the target.
Awesome video - exactly what I need to practice as a newbie. Thank you and can’t wait to visit a Go-Shooting facility with my son. Btw - Does dry firing a shotgun do any damage ?
You can also take a spent shell, cut off the folded plastic at the tip, pop out the primer and jam a small diameter hot glue stick into the hole and cut it flush. The firing pin will hit the glue stick. Cheap and easy. Will last for a very long time.
You should invent a device that has a clay sized light that moves from left to right and right to left across a backyard fence or indoor wall. Speed needs to be about the same as a skeet target, split the differnce and say 47 mph for American Skeet. Does anyone make something like that?
We are not big on snap caps. Too many times have live shells been loaded on the presumption they were snap caps. We have never once suffered a broken spring when pulling the trigger on an empty chamber. We believe in safety first
@@GoShooting brooken springs(or firingpins) is not an issue when dryfire but the ejector is the main issue when it´s ejecting whithout any weight like a snapcap! It will break sooner than later.
