Heard of Yugoslavia when I was very young but very sad that its was destroyed by NATO!! It was a beautiful country though I had never visited, PEACE in Serbia and Kosovo.
That would have been the 3rd Yugoslavia you're talking about - & the NATO bombing happened just about 8 years after the 2nd Yugoslavia, which is the one this video primarily covers, passed into the history books.

And every time i realize what we as ex-yu countries have become i get mad. We traded our sovereignty, independence and pride in our own labour for the possibility to wave some bullshit flag at football matches.
As a Bulgarian I really get upset sometimes that we were the only South Slavic country to not be a part of Yugoslavia, but in the same time I don’t. Do you plan to make a video where you talk about your opinion on how and why Bulgaria was excluded by the other Yugoslavs? I personally find this topic interesting because the south Slavic countries are not that many and it’s weird that only one was totally cut off its other brother nations. Nice video by the way : )
Uncle Joe (Stalin) didn't want Bulgaria to become part of some Tito/Yugoslav-led South Slavic federation; that's why Bulgaria never joined us. Even Albania was in that plan-same thing : Uncle Joe said 'Hell no.'
Google says most Bulgarians did not want to be a part of a Serbian-dominated Yugoslavia for political and cultural reasons. It has sense since the Balkan 2nd war happened. So sad, I love Bulgaria and the Bulgarian people.
@@jovanalipovac5968 Mostly yes. We Bulgarians and Serbs really fought over stupid things. I hope we can develop more culture connections because we do have many similarities like language, culture, and the fact that we are the both part of the South Slavic family. Love Serbia from Bulgaria! 🇧🇬❤️🇷🇸
Yes Ma'am : that's another very valid reason - especially with the segment of the Bulgarian population that was originally from Macedonia ; as far as they're concerned, their hatred for the Serbs & any state wherein they dominate is undying.
Macedonia is about the stupidest thing anybody would fight over. Macedonia would have to be the Afghanistan of the Balkans insofar as it,too,is a 'graveyard of empires'. Everybody in that region knows who/what they are except its Slavs : they can become 'Macedonian', Serbian, Bulgarian, or whatever, shamelessly, at the drop of a hat. I can't think of a more treacherous people than these. I wouldn't trade one of my Catholic Albanian or Croatian friends for 1,000 of these Orthodox hoes.

Rastavile vas sopstvene lude, naivne i glupe glave. Sa takvima je lako manipulisati.
We were all cheated by the dissolution, Long live my one and only country!
iskreno oce i suza uz ove pjesme
radi nostalgija
Enough to make a grown man cry
Thanks again for the fantastic content!
Just a note, you translated "kao niska sjajnog đerdana" as "like a chain of shiny Đerdan". Đerdan is not a proper name, it means "ogrlica", "zlatni lanac", so the translation is actually "like a string of a shiny necklace".
What a wonderful Culture and what a terrible end :( Zabranjeno Pušenje is one of my favorite bands, i Saw The no smoking orchestra after in 2009
The "Free Market" achieved what the full, total might of the German army and every living fascist during its ascendancy could not.
Bravo... Pozdrav iz Slovenije!✊👌
Uz Marsala Tita gives me goosebumps everytime.
Please do a video with a top of jugo movies and/or maybe a special about jugo pop culture (lepa brena wink wink). I love your channel and since you live in Germany, maybe I will also get to meet you. Keep up the good work!
🇨🇴🔵⭐🔴
Divim se Jugoslaviji,pozdrav iz Kolumbije!!!!
Gonna have to visit some of those monuments when I tour the Balkans..some day, some way! 😅🥰
but anyway, actually, it's kinda wild you shared this when you did..just the other day I heard a song and I can't figure why but it felt like I'd hear it in a movie set in the Yugoslav underground of the eighties 🤔🤷

Very good. Long live the spirit of yugoslavia. It will never die.
Wonderful edit. I wish we could be like this again
I was holding tears.
Brate tell me one thing or if you could make a video about it.
1. Why Tito never appointed a successor
2. How could we bring out country back?
Cool songs, regards from the 7th Yugo republic that never was :) . You missed one of my favorites Djordje Balasevic - Oprosti mi Katrin. We need a bigger, better and more democratic Yugoslavia/Balkan Federation or Union to truly have a chance at independence from east and west.
Pametnom dovoljno...
Brate Requiem me slomia, a onda jos zabranjeno pusenje... prelijep video. Sto smo sve izgubili...
Imaš veoma opširan i dobar ukus u muziku. Pozdrav iz Hrvatske🇭🇷👋

I love zabranjeno pušenje 😭
Especially that song called bos ili hadžija
Yugoslavia ❤️
They said us you are enemy, danger from the east they said. The real enemy were and are from west. Greetings from Italy
Amazing..thank you
Remek delo; 100% brate!

Excellent idea!
Najlepsa zemja sto je postojala ❤
0:00 Ahhhh! The yugoslav Makhnovshchina of course...
Well, that was lovely (and sad)! Had you put the entire songs, one could have mistaken it for a My Analog Journal playlist! ^^
Odlična ideja, odličan edit.
Hvala!
Amazing work, a piece of art.
amazing
This is going into my favorites
"Bog" from Pips, Chips and Video clips would be a good addition to the end of this video, although its message might be lost to some.
That's a beautiful video
And every time i realize what we as ex-yu countries have become i get mad. We traded our sovereignty, independence and pride in our own labour for the possibility to wave some bullshit flag at football matches.
We serbs supported Yugoslavia!
@@tomgu2285 yes, it's everybody else's fault. It's that simple.
@@tomgu2285 Certainly we Serbs of Macedonia did! And still do!
I love it already
You have put cover of računajte na nas from some slovien band, original was made by Đorđe Balašević.
Glory to the greatest WW2 liberation movement in the world SF/SN
I'm guessing the last song is a reference to the Bosnian "Romeo and Juliet". I remeber learning about them in my high school drama class.
