Hello again, Catus Maximus and Tiny Thank you for another Great Video 👍 CM, I've been turning wrenches for about 25+ years. I have never seen one of these on the job. How often do you really use this tool? Stay safe and warm. Again thank you 👌
Just a tip: And this works with c-clamps, too. Use a socket that fits tightly over the handle. To that socket, attach a long extension. For example, a 3/8 drive deep well 12 mm socket with an 8 inch extension. This will give you a ton of more leverage and make it way easier.
I bought the NC52 in the early 80's. I use it every once in a while. Another item I bought then that still have is the 1/8" Drive socket set, five pieces. I want to think I didn't pay more than $30. 40 years later, and that 1605T set (now it's 1605TA) is almost $250. Thanks Catus!
Try this, go back to the SO listing, and click the little red 'X' like icon to the lower left... the images enlarges all right, but in this case horribly focused. I've actually used one of those nut splitters... pita.
@CatusMaximus Snao on one is pretty much the only one that I did not want to throw in the lake, river pile of manure or furnaces of hell! Never had any luck with the cheap ones working

Never had luck with basic nut splinters on steel. Usually end up using a cut off wheel on a small die grinder to cut down to the fastener threads.
I can see why you would want to use a cut-off wheel.

This tool is also very handy by removing the splitter and putting a small socket in place it will crimp battery cable ends in a tight place
Looks pretty robust, I've only seen the loop style. Thanks Catus
I’m glad you found it interesting!

Nice tool.
✌️
I have one of these, it works very well. For $15 you stole that!
I agree, they're worth more than that.
