After 3 years of living in our rental, we are finally ready to start our process of making over the master bedroom. In episode one of this makeover we make major progress to the foundation of the room by painting, hanging the curtains, and DIYing a vintage inspired bedframe. I hope you all enjoy!

what did you use under the mattress? did you use wood beams? Is that strong enough? Also did you need a box spring? if so, was it one of those modern ones with a metal frame?
