Yes, using it since windows 7 I believe.
No. Read a blurb about it a couple weeks ago, but I only install Classic Shell (now Open Shell) to get any customizations I use. Anything else is in the operating system options or is only a registry insertion away.
Why Microsoft can't make customization built into the OS and allow it to be done by the user as easily is quite odd
Well these customisation was built into the OS but for some reason Microsoft has disabled/hidden those features

I used it to tweak windows 10 and it made the os quite sluggish. Unsetting every tweak did not help, had to restore from a backup image. Will never touch it again.

Will give this a go again ... used it years ago on W7 + W10, but didn't like everything it does ... the fact that some settings/options are pre-ticked can easily mess up your system 😥

@@mandraina6624 It messed mine bad enough experimenting with the app ... had to do a system restore in the end. Decided that the app does way more than I need and didn't install again.
To disable thermal throttling seems to be a bad idea to anyone who doesn't know what they're doing?
It's a crime that Micro$oft ruined Windows so badly that we have to spend half our time fixing things that they broke. Thank you for the modern Windows Me Micro$oft.

Hey Brian a quick question pls I recently have purchased Kaspersky basic antivirus but its lacking a firewall. Should I consider purchasing internet security or I'm okay with windows 11 built in firewall

@@shivamkrishn Nothing wrong with Windows Firewall, it's modifiable if you absolutely must tinker with it. I have KIS and it's no easier to modify the firewall. I've never needed to modify any firewall in 20 years except to ensure Quickbooks Server ports are open in a business environment.

In the same price Norton basic was offering firewall protection as well but I find Kaspersky superior over Norton on every single aspect.
@@shivamkrishn When your Kaspersky antivirus expires, I'd suggest you reconsider Kaspersky Internet Security (not Total security). What it can do in a multiple machine environment, tell you the IP of any malware that is coming from another computer. It will pop up saying such and such computer at IP whatever is trying to connect to this machine. It was a great help in tracking down virus and hackers infesting a 3 office interconnected business, as to which machines were doing the dirty work. I don't use their VPN or Password or SafeBrowsing features, although good.

Forced into a new PC, bad motherboard chips, picked up Windows 11 Home. Of course, that was quickly changed to Pro and only one add-on for an additional customizable start menu and have to say Windows 11 works really well. Lots of options for mods that Windows 10 didn't have and is accepting all programs from the past. It runs fast, no quirks, dual screen works good (unlike earlier versions of Windows 10), learned to use center menu icon as a rightclick only and otherwise using the heck out of desktops. I'll be recommending my clients to Windows 11 now.
The aero lite theme isn't aero it's xp luna lol!
This app makes tweaks to the registry, so you don't need to go into the registry

Coincidence this was uploaded the same day I installed windows 11, I Uninstalled it hours later because windows wouldn't start and I had to downgrade through autorepair > advanced options

The worst part about windows 11 is having to download all kinds of things just to make it better. Why would anyone want to switch from something the runs good (windows 10) to something you have to modify to work good (windows 11)? Yes windows 11 is a little snappier but is it really worth all the aggravation? In my opinion windows 11 is already bombing out. It kind of reminds me of the wonderfully horrible windows 8 and 8.1 crap.

Windows 11 is destined for the trash bin along with their other failures. Windows 11 is Bill Gates taking something and calling it his own. He loves Apple so much he has to keep taking ideas from them. Just like he did with windows 1.0

@@jonesgang That's odd. Windows 11 is working perfectly here (on a IT Tech machine) and with other customers using cheaper and outdated (circa 2014) hardware.
