  • Its upgrade time! I'm retiring the Acer Aspire 3 and, after careful consideration, replacing it with the Asus Vivobook 16 M1605 as my new daily driver. Boasting impressive specs for the price of less than $600, is it as good in reality as it is on paper? Here are my first impressions...

Good review but your sound on this video is not as good as the real review you did on this laptop a short time later. Try to keep the echo down. You have talked me into this machine... Thanks little brother, and God bless you there in the phil. I'm an American missionary artist living in South Africa. Take care..... and keep on keeping on!!! "Gonna buy this Asus laptop for my wife, as she's a teacher and her Acer is a 2015 model that is still going strong, but the battery has worn down over the years.... lol. This should help her much with her video editing etc. Cheers!!!

Sometimes you can replace the battery if it, not the computer, is the problem.

Thats true, actually its really easy to swap out the battery and find a new one. Will prolly get around to it at some point since this will still be used by my sister.

Yep I think so. Currently in the process of benchmarking the laptop for a future review and esports games work fine at native 1200p resolution using low settings (around 45-60fps). Lowering the resolution increases the fps by about 20% so its definitely playable,.
